We stopped into Cranked twice actually, just because it was so good. Located in a hillside…read moreshopping center, there is a parking garage, but both times we were able to park on the upper level which was great. Stepping inside, the interior is cozy and welcoming. We wanted snacks and coffee while we were there. On the first visit, Mr. B went with a Mocha and I had a Chai Latte, which was creamy and awesome. We had a chocolate croissant and the young woman working recommended the jalapeno and cheddar scone. Both were incredible. The chocolate croissant was flaky, crispy yet tender and soft on the inside with lots of chocolate bits. The jalapeno and cheddar scone was savory with plenty of cheese and pieces of jalapeno. It wasn't too spicy, but had that nice scone texture, crunchy on the outside with a soft interior. Both were delicious. On our second visit Mr. B went with the vanilla latte and I had to have the Chai Latte with oatmilk again, it was that good. We grabbed another croissant to enjoy with our coffee's. Both visits, the drinks were consistently good, the pastries are inviting and taste as good as they look and it is just a friendly cozy spot to enjoy a snack and beverage. They offer wine and beer too.

Coming up from Vancouver to Whistler for work on a Friday morning was not a great idea. The traffic…read morewas heavier compared to Thursday. So I really needed to stop somewhere to refuel and take a break. I found Cranked on the map and I was so glad for it. There is parking in the plaza. It's near the grocery store. The staff were friendly and the food was great. I was deciding between the soup and wondering if I should add on a sandwich when the staff suggested an alternative. Soup just comes with a slice of bread. But the sandwich comes with a small bowl of soup. Sold! I had the Turkey and Brie panini with the daily soup which was butternut squash. The sandwich was fab. Nicely pressed and the filling was delish. The butternut squash soup was lightly spiced and I think I tasted a hint of ginger in it. Very tasty. I had the flat white which was good and a double chocolate cookie. The cookie was a nice ending to the meal. So big that I had to take the remaining to go. Very yummy. There was a large communal table in the middle with smaller tables by the walls. Not a big place to dine in. The tables were mostly taken by people working on their laptops.

Looking for an afternoon coffee, we decided to try Arabica in the Whistler Village…read more At first glance we didn't think it was open, but saw someone walking out with a coffee, so in we went. The place is very unique, the interior is built to look like the inside of an igloo, and it is all white and very minimalistic. Not someplace I would go for a coffee and to work for a bit, but a great place to grab a coffee. The staff were nice and helpful, it was rather busy when we were there. The latte was small, but very flavorful and creamy. The coffee was smooth and not bitter. We enjoyed it. Just know because it is Whistler and in the village the prices are a bit high, but coffee seems expensive pretty much anywhere.

If you're serious about coffee, this spot speaks your language fluently…read more I slid in for a quick hit and ordered an espresso plus a cup of gelato, thinking it'd be a light stop. Plot twist: it turned into a full-on appreciation moment. The espresso? Dialed. Rich crema, deep aroma, balanced body, zero bitterness. You can taste the precision from bean to bar. It's the kind of shot that makes you pause mid-sip and go, oh yeah... this is why I love coffee. Then the gelato came in to cool things down and absolutely held its own. Silky, clean, not overly sweet, and the perfect contrast to that bold espresso. Hot + cold combo = undefeated. We savored 20 minutes and ran back to gondola to get last chat at 3:30.
