Casual vibe. Good gelato and great coffee. Recommend the smoothies for the non-caffeine addicts. Cool merchandise. Would skip the sandwiches.

Really delicious coffee! The line was long and with good reason. I think the best thing we got out of the 4 of us was the Canadiano - a latte with maple syrup. I had a mocha. I was excited since they said they made their own syrup. I have to say while it was good, it wasn't very chocolatey. My husband had an Americano. You can hide a lot of coffee faults with milk and syrups so I think Americanos are a great judge of the roast, the shot, just the overall quality and technique. Damn did it knock it out of the park. I would say either the Americano or Canadiano are the best choices. Great coffee!

Busy place with good food and coffee. WiFi was nice and quick. Just wish they had more darker coffee options.

BRed is a 100% plant based organic sourdough bakery and they offer sourdough loaves as well as baked goods and specialty coffees.   I highly recommend getting their coconut chai latte! It comes with coconut milk topped with coconut whipped cream. They even give you a little spoon to enjoy the coconut whipped cream with. This was so delicious!  For pastries we enjoyed the sourdough sticky bun with walnuts and berries as well as the pecan cinnamon bun. The frosting they give you is to die for too! We also enjoyed their sourdough loaves and pizza dough. We enjoyed this place so much we went back 4 times during our trip!  The staff was super helpful in figuring out what type of bread we like and asked great questions. The shop is quaint and there isn't a lot of room inside, but there is some seating outside around Creekside Village.

In the end I got the cheeky monkey - pecan and banana sticky bun. I forgot the whole place is sourdough based baked goods (my assumption now) and thought the sticky bun tasted a bit off. The sour taste threw me off. I guess if you love sourdough (I do but I guess not as much as I thought), you will like everything in here. The sticky bun is probably great for people who love a bit of sourness in their baked goods. I just want a regular sticky bun which is softer and like a cloud. This version is not. It's also not as sweet as other sticky buns. Blah to me but probably manna to others. Tip on parking. More spots on the ground (time limit) than the underground (no time limit).

We stopped into Cranked twice actually, just because it was so good. Located in a hillside…read moreshopping center, there is a parking garage, but both times we were able to park on the upper level which was great. Stepping inside, the interior is cozy and welcoming. We wanted snacks and coffee while we were there. On the first visit, Mr. B went with a Mocha and I had a Chai Latte, which was creamy and awesome. We had a chocolate croissant and the young woman working recommended the jalapeno and cheddar scone. Both were incredible. The chocolate croissant was flaky, crispy yet tender and soft on the inside with lots of chocolate bits. The jalapeno and cheddar scone was savory with plenty of cheese and pieces of jalapeno. It wasn't too spicy, but had that nice scone texture, crunchy on the outside with a soft interior. Both were delicious. On our second visit Mr. B went with the vanilla latte and I had to have the Chai Latte with oatmilk again, it was that good. We grabbed another croissant to enjoy with our coffee's. Both visits, the drinks were consistently good, the pastries are inviting and taste as good as they look and it is just a friendly cozy spot to enjoy a snack and beverage. They offer wine and beer too.

So I really needed to stop somewhere to refuel and take a break. I found Cranked on the map and I was so glad for it. There is parking in the plaza. It's near the grocery store. The staff were friendly and the food was great. I was deciding between the soup and wondering if I should add on a sandwich when the staff suggested an alternative. Soup just comes with a slice of bread. But the sandwich comes with a small bowl of soup. Sold! I had the Turkey and Brie panini with the daily soup which was butternut squash. The sandwich was fab. Nicely pressed and the filling was delish. The butternut squash soup was lightly spiced and I think I tasted a hint of ginger in it. Very tasty. I had the flat white which was good and a double chocolate cookie. The cookie was a nice ending to the meal. So big that I had to take the remaining to go. Very yummy. There was a large communal table in the middle with smaller tables by the walls. Not a big place to dine in. The tables were mostly taken by people working on their laptops.

Stumbled on Forecast when looking for quick breakfast options that were on our route to Whistler…read moreOlympic Park... and wound up coming back a second time because their breakfast sandwich blew our minds. Their breakfast sandwich comes in three varieties: bacon, sausage, and veggie. All three are served on the most delightful brioche bun with a perfect cheese selection and an egg made fresh to order (literally watched the guy crack the eggs to be cooked). The accompaniments on each sandwich are perfectly curated to create a symphony of flavors and textures, and it was the perfect serving size to leave us feeling full but not stuffed for our subsequent Nordic ski adventures. In addition to an impeccable breakfast sandwich, the vibe at Forecast is instantly cozy and welcoming, with high ceilings, tons of seating, and airy wood and plant decor. Their extensive menu is displayed on the wall, featuring a number of different sandwiches and breakfast options as well as all of your classic coffee shop drinks. They offer bags of their freshly roasted coffee for purchase as well (when we purchased one, the printed date showed us it was roasted just 3 days prior!!). I'm more of a tea person, but I really enjoyed the option to have a London Fog, and my coffee-inclined friends raved about several of their roasts. They also offer cocktails and other alcoholic bevvies for the apres ski crowd.

Casual. Busy! Apparently they also offered some kind of breakfast. Overall, I don't know if it was worth waiting in that long line for my coffee, but I was in line. I saw the breakfast , standard eggs etc. desserts included cookies. I will say the coffee is good and the smoothie was good and depending on how much time you have, it's worth it.
