I first used this location in 2008. It sucked then and it sucks now. I needed four tires balanced and a two wheel alignment on a classic car. I called four places and they are claimed their balancer was broken. Each place recommended Town Fair. One place even called a friend at Town Fair and said they could get me in as a walk in if I went there right now so I caved. Town Fair started with the alignment. The car went straight onto a four post lift. Tires never left the ground. No one checked it the tie rods or ball joints. The alignment consisted of them adjusting the tie rods and telling me they couldn't get them into spec. They didn't even try to adjust the camber or caster (which requires shimming the upper a-arms). There was a two and a half hour wait for them to balance the tires. The tires required an excessive amount of weight. When I left the tires still shook like crazy at highway speeds. I brought the car to a different tire shop who showed me that the tires were badly scalloped and even if they could be balanced they required replacement. They also did an alignment noting that there was an adjustment on the steering wheel that needed to be made before the tie rods could be adjusted. Overall: Five hour wait. $170 paid for balancing junk tires and for performing an alignment they couldn't do properly. read more

Overall, Town Fair Tire in Natick, MA (across from the Natick Collection) offers good prices and pretty rapid service with a smile. However, my family has experienced some incidents where one of the front desk staff appears to consistently try to up-sell or add charges that shouldn't be applied. He comes off smooth and friendly as if he's selling used cars. Worse, he insults the customer's intelligence by saying how he's given you a break or discount after he's already upsold or charged you for a product or servce you never needed in the first place. I'm not sure if he gets a commission on sales. If so that explains his motivation, not that that would be the right thing to do in the first place. Buyer beware of this location/individual. Purchased tires with a 36 month road Hazzard warranty 17 months into the warranty period I ran over metal on the highway brought the tire in on 01/15/2024 they wouldn't fix it or replace it however they offered to sell me another tire either a warranty that is obviously not honored I filed a complaint with the bbb. read more

Brought car in to address slow leak in tire after making appointment. I literally sat there for 90 minutes before the car was even looked at. Roughly 30 minutes later I'm told they have fixed the problem and I'm all set. The next morning the tire is flat again. I call to get it fixed again and they say to come by as soon as I'm available. I get there within the hour and they say they can look at it but will need at least 90 minutes. Since I can't stay 90 minutes I make arrangements to drop it off that night so it's first to be seen in the morning. I get a call the next morning it's all set to be picked up. I get a ride over and get the car. After driving around the block I see the tire is still losing pressure so I go back. After waiting another HOUR I'm told they don't know what's wrong and can't fix it. These guys are clowns and literally the worst at customer service. I will NEVER go back and HIGHLY recommend you get your tire services done anywhere else but Town UnFair Tire. They just don't know what they are doing. read more

The service in the Avon, CT shop is horrible. I took my new car in for a 2nd rotation and the service person handed me a lug nut and indicated it was stripped. Town Fair is the only service center that has touched the wheels on this car. No offer to make a correction and they said I would be fine with 4 lugs on a wheel till I purchased a new lug. My son took his new Subaru in for a rotation and they stripped the stud and indicated he needed to take to a repair shop. Subaru charged him $ 103 for new stud and lug nut. The service person told my son to basically "go pound sand" when he returned with the bill from Subaru. And don't get me started on their sales pressure on every tire rotation to purchase unnecessary alignments. I am done with Town Fair. read more

Tires are a commodity. They match anyones prices and do a descent job with the install, alignment and balance ..... it's usually not rocket science. My biggest disappointment is ALWAYS the wait. They are usually busy and appointment times don't really seem to matter. Today I arrived early for my 2pm appointment and at 3pm they still haven't pulled the car in to begin. Back in March of 2018 I hit a pothole and ended up damaging two of my tires. On 3/8/18 I went to Town Fair Tire in Natick to replace the damaged tires. The mechanic working at the front desk came out to look at my car and said he had tires that matched the other two tires which were still in good condition. They also recommended I rotate my tires, which I told them to go ahead. One of the tires they actually could not install because I had broken lug-nuts and they did not have them in stock to replace them. I ended up having to drive to another mechanic to have that tire installed. Fast forward to December, and my car starts making noises. On 12/22 I take it to my regular mechanic, who asks why I have two different sets of tires on my car. I explain to him what had happened, and he tells me that whoever allowed me to change only two tires on my car was "a complete idiot". Unknown to me, you cannot change only two tires on a AWD car, especially not a Subaru Impreza. Also, the new tires that had been installed were slightly smaller than the older two, which had resulted in the new tires being completely worn out. He was surprised that my transmission had not been damaged yet. He told me to go get four new tires asap, and that the weird noise I was hearing was from the mismatched tires. I contemplated going back to Town Fair Tire, but if they nearly destroyed my car once, they could easily do it again. I paid hundreds of dollars for basically nothing. I am so angry that no one in that store told me that only changing two tires would have serious consequences. I ended up going to Sullivan Tires to have all four tires replaced and the second the mechanic there looked at my tires he too asked who had allowed me to install two different tires on my car. After having to retell my story to yet another person, I felt like a total idiot for not knowing the damage mismatched tires can cause to an AWD car, and for trusting the mechanic at Town Fair Tire. Having to spend hundreds more to replace tires that should have lasted for more than 10 months was just about the best Christmas present. The employees working at this branch are either so ill-trained that they do not know the damage they can cause by mismatching tires, or they simply do not care. Frankly, I do not know which is worse. I am never setting foot in another Town Fair Tire location again. read more

I really can't recommend Aaron and his team at TFT in Natick highly enough. There was a mix up with a different location that referred me to his shop for a specific tire for my truck...and without giving away all the details (bc I legit think they went SO FAR above and beyond to fix it that people would read this and try and go in there to get something for free) Aaron flat out blew me away. I came here after 2 of my tires got destroyed by a pothole. It was a Saturday morning, was very busy and I did not have an appointment. Given my predicament, the staff was extremely accommodating. They fit me in and I was in and out in 3 hours. They did not have the same tires that I was using, but recommended a type that was far less expensive and almost as good. After driving with the tires for several months now, I do not notice any difference. Their prices are very competitive and I'm planning to go back for all my tire needs. read more

I have never experienced anything like this! I purchased 4 wheels to put the snow tires on I also purchased at T.F. They supposedly balanced the new wheels and tires. My truck shakes so bad it's dangerous to operate at normal speeds! I have returned to Town Fair 4 times to have this rectified, each time was with an appointment. Today, I had an appointment and waited 2 hours and my truck haven't moved meaning it would be another hour plus before it possibly would be done. With the previous visits this sums up to a total of over 8 hours waiting and the problem is still not corrected! Needless to say I walked out (completely disgusted after 4 visits ) and will file in the claims court to have my money refunded for these defective wheels! All town fairs are horrible. It's $70 for an alignment but the idiots who do the work don't even know how car works. your tie rods are bent or your ball joints are shot. You can't alignment your tires. Period. Every car has these parts and it's vital to a true alignment. I got 5 alignments from them in the last 2 years with a bent tierod... not a single employee noticed until I went somewhere else. He wouldn't do any alignment until it was replaced because there was no point. Never go to town fair for balance or alignments. They suck alot. Go any where else. No refund at all even with 3 days after finding this out. I'd rather of given my money to a drunk homeless man... at least he would be honest and you know where the money went. FUCK ALL TOWN FAIRS. they don't even any equipment to even adjust tight screws for rear alignments... I could do better in my driveway. So much wasted money. I should have had a second opinion the first time. I've been to almost all town fairs in Massachusetts and a few in other states... now I know why I need an alignment and balance every 6 months... they can't properly do it with broken parts because they don't know what they are looking it. Very pleased with Town Fair Tire. I actually didn't even realize they were here until I had to go. It's tucked in the very end of a shopping center. Their waiting room provides coffee and water, TV with a Roku player and some magazines. It's a bit cramped but is still a welcome place to wait. What's also good is that there is a very long strip mall connected so you can do some shopping or just walk around which is great. They ordered a tire they did not have in stock and scheduled me for the day it was to arrive. I arrived early and they told me they would do their best to work on my car as soon as possible. They had my car done in under an hour. They were clean, respectful of my vehicle and friendly. I will certainly be back. read more

I made an appointment to buy and install tires on my 2004 Oldsmobile Alero. I paid and waited. Everything at this point was picture perfect. The staff was delightful and the wait wasn't that long. I was informed probably about an hour later that my car was ready. I hopped in my car and as I was backing out of the parking space my brake pedal went straight to the floor. The idiot in me I was thinking I just had to Pump It Up, but I knew better. I left a lot of Town Fair Tire and got not that far away and tried to stop and could not. I turned around and went back. I consulted one of the gentleman on duty, he left my sight for a little while and came back, and said something about using a breaker bar to take off my tires. A red flag went up because there is no reason to use a breaker bar to take off my tires. The gentleman went on to blame my car for the brake lines disintegrating. He stood by the theory that my brake lines for 16 years old. I find it strange that both of my brake lines decided at that moment to disintegrate coincidentally at the same time. They were nice enough to offer me the luxury of parking my car in the parking lot until I made other plans. And that's all they offered me. I did make other plans a day later and had it towed to a mechanic. This mechanic said my brake lines were in good condition and they didn't disintegrate, they were crushed on both sides. The thing that got me about Town Fair Tire is they should have told me that I had no brakes, there is no way that they didn't know that when they took the car out of the garage and parked it. The thing is either they didn't care, or they weren't about to take responsibility. I contacted the corporate office of Town Fair Tire, they asked for the receipts for everything that I was out, and said they would reimburse me which was nice, except it never happened. I've given them months to do the right thing, they didn't do the right thing on a local level, and they wouldn't do the right thing on a corporate level. And now that I tell people my story, everybody has a bad story about Town Fair Tire. I don't want someone to learn the hard way because I didn't speak up. They didn't even have the best price! They just we're on my way where I was going. That's the only thing they had going for them. My mistake. If you are considering townfairtire please reconsider and choose anywhere else. Brought my truck to get new tires as they gave me a good deal on the tires I wanted. I showed up to my scheduled appointment.I was told it would be 1hr- 1hr 30min wait. It ended up taking Almost 3hrs. I walked around the vehicle before going into pay. Walking up first thing I noticed was my mud flap was ripped out and not even a quarter of a inch away from the tire. Not only that, but the whole inner wheel well was bent with it. This was the case on both sides. I told the guy this isn't how I dropped of my truck, as I am Meticulous about my vehicles. I couldn't get anywhere with him and left after being there half the day I left . I called multiple times and got put on hold till the phone was hung up. I am very disappointed and don't trust them. I would never recommend this place...I showed up to have four new tires put on. The price protection was honored but then I proceeded to sit there for FOUR hours only to find out they had totally forgotten my car was even there. After noticing people were coming and going I got up ask about my car only to find it was sitting outside the whole time!!! So much for customer service...
