NAC charged us around 4 hours of labor to reconnect a wire that goes to a temperature sensor, claiming the wire was chewed by an animal. Once we started driving upon picking up the car - which was supposed to be repaired, we noticed the Check Engine light was still on. We thought NAC must have forgotten to reset the car computer after fixing the broken wire. We weren't worried because NAC told us there is an one year warranty, and we didn't have a chance to go back there immediately due to the holiday season. We didn't plan to use the car much anyway. We brought the car back in January. NAC claimed that it was the same exact wire that was chewed again by an animal, and this time charged us near 2 hours of labor, and changed the wire connector. It is noticeable that they didn't change the wire connector the first time. Their claim about animal chewing the wire is extremely bizarre, because the car has been parked on the driveway of a house in an affluent Boston suburb neighborhood, in December-January where outdoor animal activities are limited due to the cold weather. When we complained about the charge for the second repair - which should be under warranty, they don't recognize that they didn't properly fix the wiring issue the first time. Instead, we were accused of lying about the Check Engine light never being turned off. We are concerned about Natick Auto Clinic's commitment to quality workmanship and honesty in business practice.

Had an hour to kill, and he didn't know oil change, so I checked out Jiffy Lube. Two stars!…read more I knew they sucked, so I was going to blow it off, but somehow yelp malfunctioned and Valvoline popped up 3 1/2 stars! I decided to take a chance. Immediately, I got a good feeling about these guys, they don't have a waiting room, or a bench even to sit on, but that's because they are fast and they want you to stay in the car. I actually have them rotate my tires as well, you to chase after me to get my wheel locks as I was taking a walk, can you stop at nothing to please you. Went so far as to get them a gift certificate at the store nearby, I will definitely. Become one of their best customers. Thanks Joseph!

This was when I asked him "Do you really think I need all this?" And he had said I needed the transmission fluid changed and the tires rotated when I didn't. ----But wouldn't it be reasonable to ask a teenager who's clearly in need of guidance when their car was last serviced and what was done?-----Because if John had been looking out for me like I assumed he had been, he would've asked me those questions, and I would verify with my parents, meaning I would come to realize I never needed to go to Valvoline since the car had already been serviced, and I would have saved $309. John, if he was deserving of his position that requires customers to trust him to look after their car with care, would have genuinely looked out for me and helped me avoid this mistake. Instead, the trust was broken and his duty as a manager was not fulfilled. I would have absolutely loved to continue to take my business back to this location and refer many more to come here, especially if John had helped me avoid this $309 mistake. However now I don't get the chance to do that due to my bad experience which is extremely unfortunate. I hope for the sake of this location that it goes under new management and hopefully can be a place to trust in the future.
