I spoke with a man at Franks and told him my concerns about my car. I needed brakes and rotors. I was given an appointment and when I got there I asked if they could have it inspected and an oil change as well. Every person i spoke to was courteous and knowledgeable. Honest, Honest, Honest. You will never find another auto repair shop that gives it to you straight. I had a car with 200,019 miles, they called and said I had bad news, $1,800 worth but they also told me that the transmission was on its way out, any other auto repair shop would have done the work for $1,800, they told me it would not be worth spending the money and did not charge me anything any other shop would have. They stand behind their work and they get teh job done. I will always bring my car here. They have excellent customer service and fair prices. read more

Franks is my new go to auto repair shop in the area! they are the best. My car was making some screeching noises on left turns, we suspect it is the CV Joints. Being new to the area, I started looking on Yelp and making calls to various auto repair shops. Franks gave me a very reasonable quote and turnaround time estimate on replacing CV joints . some other shops won't event give me a quote on the phone. So I went with Franks based on all excellent reviews this places has. Turns out I made the best decision! After checking my car, Kevin told me that the CV joints are good, problem is just a metal piece touching brakes, they took care of it and that I don't owe them anything. When did you hear that from an auto repair shop last time! of course I owe them something, I owe them lots of appreciation and all my future business. Take your car to Franks too! read more

We took the car to Midas for a quick quote and was given a price that made us god smacked. We went to Frank's desperate, needing an emergency repair on our family car. Frank's was 1/3 of the price of Midas, did the repair same day with little notice, did not try to up-sell us, instead, he tried to do his best to save us money. Frank is one of those "old school" honest, mechanics. I would recommend him to anybody I know. read more

These guys are excellent. Fair, quick, and reliable and trustworthy. What else do you need? We have taken our cars to them bunch of times and their opinion on the issues have been fair all the time. Many times they have checked to report that issue is nothing serious and can wait until next service. They have always accommodate the schedule and have been reliable. The most honest mechanic around. I know absolutely nothing about cars yet they never talk down to me or try to take advantage. Frank's prices are very fair and they never try to up-sell. They're always very clear with what's going on with your car and what they're going to do to repair it. Unfortunately, my salary is slightly less than Oprah's, and they'll advise which repairs are needed immediately and which can wait till I can save up a few more peanuts. Every time I've taken my car there the turn around time is speedy, and their work is 100% quality. I hung on to my beloved sh*tbox till the very end, and they definitely extended its lifespan. I went to Frank's today to replace my car battery since it was dying down. When I mentioned to the guy that the current battery was brought only a year ago from XYZ, he called them up and made sure I was given a free replacement ! Went here per recommendation of co-workers, one of which is Frank's son. They broke my antenna (I noticed when I walked around my vette with them when I picked up). They came up with some ficticious story that a film crew was in their shop and they must have caused it along with a scratch in the same area. They said they'd take care of it, despite me having to call and leave several increasingly aggrevated messages and an email with NO RESPONSE. Will never refer them and will be filing a small claim against them if nothing is done about it in the near future. read more
