I needed tires and brakes, so I chose Hogan Tire--here's how it went: I visited the Hogan Tire website, entered some basic information, and got a quick reply. I spoke with Leo on the phone and was pleasantly surprised by his friendliness, professionalism, and knowledge. I dropped off my car and not long after, received a call with a detailed plan of action and a quote--right in line with what I expected after speaking with Leo. When I came to pick up the car, the staff even stayed late to make sure my alignment was perfect. Great service all around. I even scheduled some future maintenance while I was there. They've definitely earned my business! read more

I brought my car in for a complimentary inspection and provided a list of things for the tech to review. Dropped it off on a Friday for a Saturday appointment. My car sat there until 1pm. No phone call, email or text. I come in and the guy at the desk said sorry we've been busy. They close at 2.... My car had a 10-15 minute look over. Said I had an exhaust leak, which I don't. Said I needed a cabin air filter.... Which was replaced two weeks earlier. How did you check the cabin and air filter if you had the car up on a lift? You said I needed new front brakes - they're at 5mm not 3mm. How can you measure the brakes if you didn't take the tires off??? They said I needed a laundry list and I walked out and said no thanks. read more

The price is not realistic. Two new tires (not expensive ones $141.- each (other places) and a battery; $881.- ??? Not a realistic price.

Customer service is better than most. They always do an excellent job and in a timely manner. When we have to service our cars this is our families preferred choice. read more

I've been a regular customer at Hogan Tire and Auto in Hudson for five years. I'm always impressed with their service and professionalism. Reasonable prices. Conveniant location. Comfortable waiting room. I had a maintenance check today. A few days prior, I told them of an issue with closing my driver's side door. They knew I would need to see a Ford dealership. It was very kind of them to check if there were recalls before my appointment. Ford employee had not told me that 2011-16 Fiestas were recalled due to the doors malfunctioning because I have a '17 model. After the maintenance check, I received a color-coded text summarizing what they found. Very helpful. read more

Hogans tire and auto in Hudson has always done the job great. 3rd set of tires bought here, and they always have great service and are very friendly. This is always my go to when I need something done and the mechanics are always so busy. I never see them just hanging around, hard working for sure! Nice little waiting area has water coffee and free wifi. read more

This is my 3-peat with Hogan Tire; I've now got all my vehicles on Hogan tires. This finished my transition from NTB, where service and value has evaporated. I tried my hometown tire shop, but they went belly up. I found Hogan when looking for a solid replacement, checking reputation, ownership, quality, value, and customer ratings. and like it better with every experience. It's a family business, 3rd generation, professional, clean, and very customer oriented. I pay attention to Consumer Report reviews, online sales, and I'm enthusiastically and completely satisfied with Hogan. Tires can be a hassle, and they're wicked expensive. It's frustrating to feel like you're being short changed, or not serviced correctly, or a pawn to the establishment's profit. So do yourself a favor: try Hogan. I'm pleased to say I did, and my bet is all in! read more

Phenomenal group. I've been now to both the Hudson and Lowell locations, and the teams there have always been friendly, helpful and honest. Definitely recommend them! read more

What an amazing team at Hogan. I had the pleasure to meet Ed and Leo. I had a screw in my tire and they took extra care to fix it and rebalance it and reset the bead. All done for only $35. While I sat and waited, in a very nice waiting area, I overheard them speaking to people on the phone, they did not try to oversell anything. They even told a guy who bought a discontinued tire from Walmart that he should go back to Walmart. They did not try to sell him another type of tire. Very trustworthy team. read more

Purchased 4 new tires, and the whole process was an easy ride from start to finish. Great staff, quick service and nice waiting area. Highly recommend! read more

I like Hogan Tire in Hudson, MA. The front office staff are personable and reliable, and the work is excellent. Recently, they replaced a leaky tire pressure sensor, which was a relief to have fixed--no more leaky tire, no more dash alerts. But that's not the whole story. Another shop, my local mechanic in a nearby town, had not been able to fix an awful rattle that happened every time my car hit 40 mph. They said it was time to take it to the dealer and maybe get the transmission replaced. Who can afford that? So I drove it with the noise for a while. Lo and behold, when I drove away from getting my pressure sensor fixed at Hogan Tire, no more awful rattle. By properly tightening things up in the course of their job, they likely saved me a couple thousand bucks from an unneeded transmission replacement. Another time, I had a snow blower tire that had lost so much air, I couldn't get my hand pump started on it. Lots of gas station shops were closed because of the storm. Hogan Tire pumped it up for me for free on the spot. I'm very grateful. read more

Went online and booked an appointment, as well as picked out 4 new tires, alingment and oil change. When I dropped it off, I casually asked the service coordinator about my choices. He asked several questions and made recommendations that for $20 more were a better tire and explained the benefits off a better tire. Had a great experience, and feel very comfortable entrusting him with the safety of my family of 5. I couldn't be more pleased with service, and the results!! read more

Had issues after visiting Hogan Tires in Westwood and scheduled an appointment online at this location afterwords. 2 things: 1. Scheduling an appointment online was super accommodating. I got a fast reply and they asked me if I could drop off my car instead since they were busy and could fit me in between cars. 2. Awesome customer service -- they checked out my car right away when I came in and didn't need to leave my car. They gave me all the information I needed about my tires. Definitely the location to go to! read more

Right front tire, almost new tire... became a causality of an early pothole season, unfortunately. Fortunately, a call to the super helpful experts at Hogan Tire and the replacement tire was ordered from their headquarters and less than 24 hours later, all set! Until the next pothole, that is. Thanks, Hogan Tire of Hudson! read more

Hogan Tire & Auto - Sidewall bubble... grrr - Auto Repair Near Me - Hudson, Massachusetts

Got 4 new beautiful Michelin tires for my 2009 Mercedes from Hogan Tire in Westwood, MA in November of 2020. I was still driving my Jeep up until April, when the lease termed out and I turned it back over. My point is I didn't drive the Mercedes every day until April. In August of this year I made an appointment and brought the Mercedes for tire rotation, free brake inspection (as advertised), and a couple of noises that concerned me. My car was there for 9 hours before they called to follow up. What was recommended to me, blew me away!! NEW TIRES!! That's what was recommended, New flipping tires. Did I mention four new tires is what was recommended? He said that was the noise coming from my front end. WHAT? And NO brake inspection. After I explained there was probably less than 7k miles on the car since the new tires, I asked him if he rotated them, which he had NOT even done... remember this is 9 HOURS LATER. My car had been there ALL day and he called 30 minutes before they closed. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I GO TO HOGAN FOR EVEN A BIT OF FREE AIR. So NOT good. read more

I was on the road when I realized one of my tires was a little low. As I was digging through my cupholder to find some change for a gas station air pump, I saw a shimmering light from the corner of my, and glowing letters which seemed to say... "FREE AIR". A glittering oasis in the desert of Hudson; a 1950s-gas-pump-looking air machine, in the Hogan tire parking lot. Could this be? I told the guy out front "I don't need to buy anything, I just need a little air..." and he said "Have at it man - no charge; that's what it's there for". As I finished filling the tires, and got back in my car, he said "Thank you, come back any time". He thanked me. For taking his air. And giving him nothing in return. Not even a customer; a freeloader, a taker, a guy who wandered in off the street expecting something for nothing - and he thanked me. Nothing in life is free... except this air. And those guys at Hogan... they're nice guys. read more

I recently had some routine maitenance done here. Such a great experience. First the staff is pretty awesome. Friendly bunch who are really knowledgeable about cars but are not pushy. If you go in for an oil change, that is what you'll get. You go in for tires, that is what you'll get. No constant shaming because you aren't getting their signature fuel injection cleaning done for only $200 or upselling on stuff that you would never need. Basically the polar opposte of the Valvoline auto chain down the street from Hogan (that place is the worst of the worst). Plus their prices are amazing and if you check out the website before hand, you can always find a coupon for something. They even have a nice and clean waiting area. Again, polar opposite of the Valvoline. No complaints at all. read more

I brought my 2009 civic here because it was making a screeching noise in the front. Everyone I talked to was nice and the check was free. They tell me I need new front brakes including rotors, pads and calipers because the pistons in the calipers are leaking water. They price the repairs at $800. I research online and see that it is uncommon to have to replace both calipers on such a young car with below 100,000 miles so I decide to get a brake check at another mechanic. This place tells me I don't need to replace my calipers, no water is coming out and they don't understand why water would come out of the pistons at all or why Hogan would tell me that; to get new brake pads and rotor it will be $250. Maybe Hogan is right, maybe not but I'm taking the chance and going with the cheaper option. read more

Good, quick, oil change. They also filled up all my fluids which was a nice surprise considering I was out of windshield wiper fluid when I showed up. Good experience. My job was simple (broken tire stem). But they were courteous and fast and its seemed to be a decent price ($35). I can't say if they are overpriced or not based on what I had done, but it was done well. read more

Hogan Tire in Hudson is pretty great, my wife and I get our oil changed here and it is almost always speedy and quick. They have a nice waiting are with coffee, water, and a few magazines to read. Also the fixed my wife's car on relatively short notice this winter, we took it in on New Years Eve, and it was finished in the time promised, which was especially important with a baby on the way. I only give them 4 stars because they did lose/not write down my appt. once and I had to reschedule for a later date even though I planned my morning around it. (side note, I then went home, dropped a glass mug cutting the nerves in my pinky, which the bending of is forever lost). A worse version of me would have made this 1 star 9 months ago when it happened. read more

Repeat customer and one for life! The team is fantastic and over communicates and every turn. They are thorough , knowledgeable and fairly priced. I have had multiple services done at Hogan Hudson over the past 4 years and all have been fantastic. Due to scheduling flexibility, I had needed to bring my car to another area shop (not a Hogan location) and had a horrid experience. Hogan's standard is top notch and I will be using them exclusively for my vehicles from now on. read more

Unbelievable service! We had a series of bad luck when traveling from upstate NY to my eldest son in Newton. We got a call from my youngest son that his tire was flat and he had some difficulty replacing it, so we diverted towards Hudson to help. Minutes from our arrival, our car broke down and we were able to get it to the Hogan Tire Center in Hudson. Unfortunately, they had just closed, however, we were approached by the assistant manager, Mike Stansbury, who proceeded to help us troubleshoot the issue, processed our vehicle for service the next day and waited until my youngest son arrived to drop off his tire for repair. The service Mike provided was above and beyond and I would absolutely recommend using Hogan Tire in Hudson for anyone needing their services. Top notch! Thanks Mike! read more

I finally found a great tire shop. I just got four new tires for my wife's car and the whole experience was great. They were helpful over the phone, gave me a bunch of options at different price levels and didn't try to sell me on the most expensive. I did end up getting MIchelins because they were the original tires on the car and my wife was used to the feel. They gave me an appointment and were ready for me when I arrived and an hour later, I was on my way. They told me the alignment was fine and didn't try to sell that additional service. Their prices were competitive and actually over $300 less than the Volvo dealer wanted to charge for the same tires and service. Nice guys to deal with, clean waiting room, just a pleasant sales experience. I will go there for my next tire purchase without a doubt. Thanks. read more

Great guys !! I happened to get a flat tire right across the street from the Hudson location. Two of the employees drove over and swapped the flat for my donut so I could drive over. They totally rescued me and were able to repair my flat for only $29.99. The service was priceless. I was fixed and home in the time it would have taken AAA to get to me. Have been going to Hogan since they opened and been very satisfied - last week my son called to get 1 tire and they quoted him $180 after we bought 4 of them last year for $115-$120 each! I went to 7 places for tires and hogan was the cheapest! I got good tires for a great deal. And they seem to have a great staff. I don't go to garages so I don't know about their garage but as far as they're tires go I give them 5 stars. read more

Called to make an appointment, on hold for 6 minutes. Hung up. Drove there to make an appointment. Walked in to see a man on the phone and a tech. Neither of them looked at me or my friend. Man hung up the phone and talked to the tech. Still did not even look at me. To my surprise the man then makes a phone call. While he's on the phone then he looks at me to say 'just a moment'. I should have walked out while he was on the phone. I wait with my friend while he orders a filter. A filter, and he can't smile or say hello because the filter is more important to him. He hangs up and asks if he can help me. I need 4 tires for my RDX. He asks me the size of the tire. Okay, this is a tire place I'm in, right? He doesn't look it up on the computer, instead, we walk out to my vehicle so he can look at the tire. When we get back in, I grab a business card. Joel Lindgren Assistant Manager. He says the manager is out and they are so busy. Another guy, Ed, comes in. Joel is busy looking at the computer quoting numbers that don't make sense, not that I want to spend a bundle, but he's quoting me $170 tires, I'm not going to replace my old $260 tires with $170 tires. I say I don't want to downgrade. Such a waste of time for such a busy person. I'm concerned about the tire tread #. They say that doesn't matter and it's not on the computer so they cannot answer the question. I don't want to order tires without knowing and they both say it doesn't matter, it's all about the speed rating. Okay, it's all about the speed rating, but what is the tread count. After all that I feel like they just are too busy to take my business. I'm done, I say, you just lost a customer. They could care less. read more

I am absolutely stunned. This is the most up front honest service center i have ever seen. I am a customer for life. John the service manager is a true man of integrity. I had an issue with my car that was questionable who did it. My car was on Toyota care warranty, and I thought for sure Toyota would take care o the issue. Turns out Toyota care really is careless. I went to John with my case and rather than giving me the round around, he made it right. I still have 15K left on my pre-paid maintenace and warranty with Bernardi Toyota, but I will never go back, now that i know Hogan tire is such an honest dealer. I dont know if anyone will read this but even if convinces one person to go there, I will be happy. A real breath of fresh air. read more

I am very happy with the service I received at Hogan Tire in Hudson. I researched the tires I wanted online, and they matched the best price I found. They were able to get the tires I wanted in less than 24 hours, and set up a time to install them. They took my car in at the scheduled time, and the amount of time they quoted was accurate. The waiting area was comfortable and they offer coffee and free WiFi. Pricing was fair and honest -- they aren't one of these service places that "finds" other problems. read more

I happened upon this place while I drove by on my way to work in Marlboro. I called and they were able to fit me in a few days later. The oil change was very reasonable and they didn't try to heavily up sell me, which almost all the other places do! They gave my car a once over and gave me a sheet letting me know the things they found...again, no pressure. I had a leak in my tire and asked them to look at it. They didn't find anything in the tire but mentioned that the seal had a leak. Then, they sealed the tire where it meets the rim for no charge. I will go to them again and also refer them to my friends and colleagues! Thank you! Good service and value are so hard to find these days. read more

Having work done at Hogan Tire in Hudson has been, bar none, the best experience I have had with a shop. Ed and his crew are a real pleasure to work with. They are honest and up front. They do not try to push unnecessary service on you. I'm relatively auto-savvy (I'll do most of my own maintenance - oil, plugs/coils, etc.) but I know my limits. These guys have earned my trust to do anything I can't do myself. They do great work and do it for a reasonable price. Check them out...you won't be sorry you did. Highly recommend hogan tire in Hudson. You get treated like a person and don't take advantage of you. I got 4 new tires, they check to see if you need alignment not just make u get one cause you got tires. Most people don't know that if u rotate often chances u don't need one, unless it pulls to one side. That's how most trier places pad the bill. I will go to them for further car repair in the future. read more

They have a station for kids to amuse themselves (and I think a computer to use). The bathrooms are clean. They had water and coffee. I am so used to dealing with amateur garages I went right into the garage and started talking to a mechanic who showed me that they have an office and a reception desk. Oh my! This is almost a first - they have an office and someone is actually at the desk! It took about 10 minutes and my bill was $13. Not a typo. Thirteen dollars. Everyone was professional and I wish every experience was this good. read more

I had a flat tire while driving on 90. I went to Hogan and worked with Joe Sudol. Service was great. My other 3 tires had some wear on them so Joe measured them and advised me that I was ok to replace just the one tire instead of the expensive 4. I have electronic air pressure monitors in my car, they weren't responding properly my initial visit to Hogan so they asked that I come back when I have time so they could fix the issue. On another visit they fixed it within 5 minutes. Overall excellent service, very friendly and knowledgable staff and they offered free air anytime my tires are low so I can avoid the terrible gas station pumps. It's not often that you get great service from a car company. I am now a repeat customer. read more

I shopped online and in store at various tire locations. Hogan has excellent, competitive prices. I called in and explained what I wanted for a new set of tires. Mike caught on quick and answered everything I had questioned clearly and patiently. We set up an appointment where I would drop off my vehicle, with the delivery of the tires in mind. They kept up their end of the timeline, however, I had to come in much later because my ride wasn't able to pick me up. I called in to inform them of my situation and they kindly answered "No problem, come drop off your vehicle after lunch." I received a phone call updating me on a situation that could be problematic with the tpms. Just as a warning. I then received a text when the job was complete notifying me my vehicle is ready for pick up. I came into their store and was greeted properly once again. They showed me all the paper work and all the work that matched up to what we discussed. I had a pleasant feeling when I left their store. Tldr : 5 stars for their prices and deals, clean and inviting atmosphere, informative and friendly interactions, and finally, quick and professional services. read more

this place has been THE go to place for tires for my family and for the last 5 years (our two cars plus sister's, mother's and mother-in-law's cars), however in the recent year it's become similar to another place that rhymes with clown bear meaning... price matching becomes a project (especially when a female tries it) told my sister she needed a new tire when she didn't as the tire was was repairable and has been leak free for over 15,000 miles and now charge me extra to have two tires mounted and balanced cause i "bought them somewhere else" ...even though.. #1) they do NOT carry this brand of tire (nitto) and #2) they do NOT offer a heat cycling tire service for competition & track use tires great way to treat a loyal customer hogan tire read more
