    Ginger mixed berry lemonade
    Stephanie S.

They have coffee, juice, alkaline water, and a variety of healthy bowls and bread options. It's located on the first floor of The Main hotel. The staff were great and very helpful. I tried the S'mores bagel and a ginger lemonade juice. The bagel had the perfect balance of sweet and crunch. The lemonade was excellent! My husband tried the ginger mixed berry lemonade. It had a little "bite," but he liked it. They have a few tables and chairs if you want to sit while you enjoy their delicious food and beverages. I can't wait to go back and have some Java!

Hubby and I needed a quick bite to eat. The lady at the register was just filling in for her daughter. Olive was the nicest lady to talk to. We both ordered the same exact thing. We ordered a salmon lox bagel sandwich and a bohemian colada. Both of them were delicious!! Our sandwich had salmon lox, dill cream cheese, pickled onions, egg, tomato and greens. Our smoothie had pineapple juice, almond milk, mango, coconut, and agave. We sat next to the window overlooking downtown Norfolk with the warm sun shining on us. It was a great.

Failed to even order. Very vanilla vibes and too much stuff going on. Customer service very rude.

Had an amazing lox and greens sandwich for breakfast. Better than most of the sit down brunch spots in town.

The girl who took my order was nice and patient. I ordered the fall menu matcha which had persimmon and spices and a bacon egg and cheese empanada. The space is beautiful and is the perfect environment for some peace and quiet or a nice convo if you sit outside. I was not a fan of the bacon, egg and cheese empanada as the contents tasted super processed exactly like a hot pocket. However, the matcha was incredible, great quality and I loved the flavor. I especially love the ham and Gruyère croissant and even ordered them to be served for my birthday last year. The service is efficient and kind and the atmosphere is super chill. I love stopping here when I'm in the area and want a pick me up. My most recent visit I decided to take my friend here after we grabbed coffee at Fr8 house a few minutes away. We opted to get a whole pizza and went for the Brisket and Blue which had fresh mozzarella, gorgonzola, smoked beef brisket, basil, pickled red onion, and green chili jam. The pizza was incredible. It had a great bite, slightly crispy, super savory with a touch of sweetness and the brisket was the savory star of the show. I added a bit of red pepper flake and it took it from a 9 to a 9.5 dare I say 10. I highly recommend checking this bakery out whether it's something as simple as a cookie or croissant or the whole pizza. There is something for everyone.

There's tons of space for remote work, community meetings, or just hanging out, and I noticed several groups using the open, airy cafe for coworking and conversation. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. I ordered the Monticello breakfast sandwich (with sausage, egg, cheddar, arugula, and a delicious aioli on an English muffin) and their Brown Sugar No. 05. A creative blend of brown sugar, rosemary, cinnamon, espresso, milk, and a hint of orange bitters. It was unique, refreshing, and seriously addicting! My friend went for the brown sugar latte and a blueberry bagel with cream cheese, which she loved. I was so interested in their nonprofit work, and after a quick website visit, I learned that Coalescence creates space for all kinds of community groups to gather and learn together, partnering locally and globally to lift up important work. Events, co-working, and shared community workspace are all available, with donors and volunteers supporting the mission so this resource keeps growing. If you're looking for great coffee, delicious food, or just a welcoming place to connect, this is it. Can't wait to come back!
