I love these people. They've always been reasonably priced, on time, and deliver pristine items all while providing the friendliest and most neighborly customer service. But today they blew me away! I just picked up my one, my only, my favorite cashmere sweater. Not only was it exquisitely hung and smelling fresh and clean, but seemingly for NO EXTRA CHARGE... they de-pilled my sweater! My sling bag had made it a hot mess and it looks like new! Best. Dry cleaner. Ever. Thank you! read more

Professional and courteous. Tower is a pillar of the community - they know everyone. Personally. We've been going there for years and never had a problem. read more

While visiting San Francisco, my Fiancé & I had laundry done by Kim @ Tower Laundromat 2x. Kim was SO friendly and did an amazing job. Clothes were fresh and clean, and returned beautifully folded within a paper burrito. read more

I have been taking my laundry to Tower for decades. Kim, the owner, is a great person. He does an excellent job, and he is always good for some interesting stories read more

This is hands down the best place to get dry cleaning and wash and press done in the city. It is drastically cheaper than the places near by and the quality is just as good with even better customer service. Mr. Kim is always so kind and conversational and will hold onto my clothes even if I forget to pick them up for a couple of weeks! I have been coming here since I moved into the city around 7 months ago and will continue!! Love love love tower laundromat. read more

Amazing customer service and price. Stumbled in here because it is less than a block from my apartment and I needed dry cleaning, but now I wouldn't go anywhere else in the city. read more

Kim is not just a great vendor in his space; He is a friend and neighbor. And let it be said, a consultant and contractor when it comes to high-end fabrics. Not just your suits and wedding dresses. But draperies. And Pacific Coast Feather Company products (what you sleep on at the W Hotel). I can name a handful of vendors who are closer to my home, or by Six-Degrees-of-Separation, but I only go to Kim. Even if, yes, parking is a challenge :) read more

wonderful service. highly recommded, fast , polite , and friendly. Also very neat and tidy . We loved it read more

I had an amazing experience here today. Stuck in San Fran due to weather back home and I had to get some laundry done to hold me over for a few days. There is truly something special about this place and the amazing individuals who own it. Dropped off my clothes this morning and was told by the owner everything would be ready by 3. I arrived to pick up my "paper burrito" just a little before 3 and my clothes were clean, pressed, and folded. The individuals who care for your items take pride in their work and it really shows. I have no complaints and when I'm back in San Fran again I'll definitely be having my laundry done here!!! I can't recommend this place enough. Prices are extremely fair. The price I paid for all of my garments (around 14 pieces) would have been the price of ONE (yes singular) shirt at the hotel I'm staying at. If you plan on going here be sure to take cash when picking up! read more

Kim is as good as it gets. I used to be walking distance and I would constantly bring my equestrian competition clothes in. He was extremely careful and meticulous with them. One time I came in with extra items and he told me there were a few that could be easily washed by hand and I should save the money. What?! Seriously the nicest person and my clothes always came out looking better than new. I've moved to a different part of the city but will still drive the distance because of the quality of work. Thank you, Kim!! read more

Kim's the best. He's honest, reliable, and friendly. Tower is North Beach at its best.

Tower Laundromat is AMAZING! We were on vacay, and needed clean clothes. Instead of wasting time waiting around while we washed our clothes, we dropped off a huge suitcase full of dirty clothes around 9am, went sight seeing and swung by at 1pm to pick everything up all cleaned!! While it may not be a service we regularly use, its definitely worth the splurge... especially while on vacay. read more

The best laundry service ever! He's the nicest man and does amazing work. 11/10 recommend & I'm picky so it's saying a lot.

Kim is friendly, professional and very honest! They do great work, super fair and always handled our clothing with utmost respect. They apparently do it all, so from shirts to bedsheets you know you're covered and all ready the same day, folded to perfection, bliss! read more

I found this place as it was near where I was staying on vacation. Dropped off a bag of clothes and collected 4-5 hours later washed and folded. I much prefer this than a dirty grose laundromat. The owners are super friendly and it's such a good price for a place that offers this service. (Drop and go only, no self service washing here) . A++ read more

After having had terrible service through a home delivery cleaning service, I tried out Tower Laundry. Not only did my clothes come out clean (had both dry cleaning and a wash for one article) but the gentleman who helped me remembered me and even commented on my prior issue when I picked up my articles. Highly recommend this personal, professional business for your laundering needs! read more

Easy peasy. We were badly in need of clean clothes in the middle of an 18 day cross country train adventure. Hotel laundry prices were ridiculous. We were looking for a coin laundry when Tower popped up. Such a kind man. We fully trusted our travel worn clothes and were rewarded with folded.expertly clean clothes ready for the second half of our adventure. read more

Kim is an institution. He will know who you are and the status of your items from your first visit. He cares about quality. He's returned items to his processor multiple times and will only give it to you once it's ready. He's honest. He did lose a shirt of mine once, but he offered to pay me back the full cost of a new shirt (and thus was a nice brand $100+ new)!! Read all the other dry cleaners reviews that rage about never wanting to reimburse mistakes. It's a short review, but there's not much to say. It's a great neighborhood business with an owner who cares. read more

I had them wash and fold my bedding including comforter. They did an amazing job. Highly recommend! FIVE stars. And there is a 10 min parking spot in front of the store which makes it easy for drop off and pick up! read more

Last time I checked, Kim still owned this place. I know Kim because he knows me. Well, more like his old business partner knew me. I think his partner is somehow related to me...I think...But Kim is an awesome guy. I only bring things for him to help me deal with when I can't get it all the way clean. He will take one look at it and tell me what I need to do or what he can do for me. Saves me a lot of headache over trying to wash the stains out of a shirt for hours... He's also smart. Knows a lot of things. Like one time I brought in my JROTC uniform to get it cleaned. He knew I was in it and asked me how it was going. I told him I hate shining my shoes. Pain in the ass to get them as shiny as patent leather. He smiles and starts telling me how to shine a pair of shoes the perfect way with some water, a candle and a can of shoe polish. Needless to say, I still use that technique whenever I can. So you basically got a guy that listens and tries to help you out in any way possible and a guy that knows how to get your clothes clean. Awesome guy in an awesome neighborhood. read more

I love that while most of my friends say "I take everything to wash and fold except for my Lulu's**", I say the exact opposite. I go to Kim because I know that he will take extra special care of the things I don't like to wash in my dingy coin-operated basement Speed Queen. I also love that even though I rarely stop by (student boyfriend = soooo helpful on the domestic front), I can simply say "I am here to pick up Carl's shirts" and Kim not only knows Carl but can ask how his spring break is going. When does that happen in a city this size? Lastly, I love that I can sleep in on Saturdays and wait to drop off my laundry till 11 am or so, and Kim will still have it done by 4. How does he do it? This place is a lifesaver for both wash & fold and dry cleaning! **For those of you unfamiliar, Lulus = Lululemon workout gear... ridiculously expensive but oh-so-fabulous that you want to take good care of it). read more

The gentleman here does a great business, he is very friendly and knows his customers by name. I found he did a great job the few times I've stopped in for dry cleaning and laundry, but I also found them on the expensive side as compared to the other million places to get dry cleaning in NB. read more

Kim and his staff are awesome. I moved to the neighborhood a year ago and over the course of the year Tower has not only done an incredibly fast, reliable, and responsible job when it comes to my clothes (wash & fold and dry cleaning), but also has been a welcome friend in the community. A few weeks ago I was involved in a bike fall just outside of the Laundromat and even though it was only a few bumps / bruises, Kim rushed in to help and even ran to the fire station and grab one of the guys in case I needed medical attention. What I'm trying to say is that in a city full of transplants, Kim and his staff have made me feel like a real part of the neighborhood, in addition to providing amazing service. Knew my name since day 1 and I'm always happy to say hi and share a few words. read more

This is a preliminary review for customer care. Called them to see if they're able to get my silk romper done by Saturday AM if I drop it off by Thursday close. They weren't, but recommended another nearby launder who can get it done for me. Actions show that they care about the customers needs first!! Next time, I'm definitely going here. read more

I'll admit that it's hard to get excited about a wash and fold/dry cleaning place, but these folks do some great work. It's a small, family-owned laundry that has somehow managed to not lose one of each of my pairs of socks. That alone is cause for celebration. They have same day turnaround on wash & fold if you get your clothes in by noon and the prices are reasonable. The owner is very friendly and makes a point to know his customers. Highly recommended. read more

Really great service, super reliable, clothes and other always come out great and well taken care of, good value, courteous friendly employees. Thanks for being in the neighborhood. read more

Favorite local laundromat. Kim always remembers my name and asks idle questions on what's happening in my life -- the key to keeping local customers engaged and happy. After 10 years I'm still amazed he (and his employees) have such a grasp on their customer's details. After being out of the area for almost a year, I had one of Kim's staff ask how my then ex-wife was (by name) and how she was progressing in her yoga routine. Amazing. It is companies like this that make me want to support the local shops vs go to more convenient, but more impersonal businesses. Drycleaning and wash-and-fold pricing is similar to other local laundromats. Though to be honest, after being charmed by Kim the first few months in the neighborhood, I haven't sampled anything else. read more

Kim is the nicest guy ever!! I went in with a blazer and he warned me that the buttons might pop apart during the process. He covered each one in aluminum foil so that they would stay together :) I didn't even ask him to. When one did happen to pop off, he spent days looking for it in the lint trap haha. But he's such a nice guy and living in North Beach, I love supporting a good local business. You can tell he really enjoys his job and is good at it. read more

It takes a lot of trust to turn over underwear to a stranger. Tower Laundromat rocks though. The owner is super nice, accommodating to times when I need a pretty quick turnaround and does a great job with the laundry. There is a short-term parking spot right outside. This is so *key* for me living on Telegraph Hill! No more lugging my clean laundry up hills! Pro Tip: CASH only read more

Never have I actually looked forward to going to the dry cleaners before now! Kim is just the best human and is also great at running a business. He remembers everyone's name which just makes it feel like your friendly neighborhood dry cleaners. Prices are also very good for the area, and I recently started taking my laundry here for wash and fold and he always ensures that his staff take extra care with Lulu Lemons and spandex (low or no heat). Kim is overall just a great guy and it's always a pleasure talking to him when I drop off and pick up my laundry. LOVE this place! Oh and it's cash or check only! read more

Amazing wash and fold for $1.60/lb and will be done in a few hours

This business is a true gem and makes me thankful to live in the neighbourhood. When our apartment suddenly had a flea problem, I panicked about what to do. One phone call to Tower Laundromat and my heart could rest easy again. Here was a business that knew what I needed to do and could easily help with it. The people here are friendly, helpful, efficient, and care about doing a great job. Didn't think I could or would ever love a laundromat but turns out I can and do. read more

Tower was awesome, I lived in North Beach for my Summer internship, and would come here once or twice a week with a load of laundry. It was always ready for me the same day, nicely folded. Great for someone with a busy schedule. The owner is very nice as well, making small talk with me and remembered my name. read more

Mr. Kim! Absolutely love this place, we have three wash and folds that are closer to our house yet my girlfriend and I always climb the hill to drop off our clothes to tower laundry. Thank you for always taking great care of us and all of our clothes. Love being able to trust that nothing will shrink, get lost or come back with a rip or tear. I wish more businesses cared for their customers the way tower laundry does. read more

This is the best wash, dry and fold service I've ever received anywhere in the United States or even in Europe. They took their time, the price was very reasonable, even if it was same day and they did an excellent job. On top of that they were extremely nice and would not even accept a tip. The only issue is you may have to double park but I had no problem doing that at drop off and pick up as they are also very quick. read more

I just got back from using Tower Laundromat's self-serve laundry service. Love it! They are the nicest people EVER! I met Kim this morning on my way to work, and spend over an hour chatting with Alan while waiting for my laundry this evening. $5.25 for one load of laundry (HUGE washer capacity) AND 40 minutes dry time. The hours aren't very convenient for self-serve: 3-6pm M-F only, but fortunately, it works out for me. I will definitely be back! :) read more

Wow absolutely the best wash and fold I've ever experienced. Just moved back to SF and tried a few places, ever get your clothes back that smell worst than when you gave it to them?which is why I decided to turn to yelp and find one. A great local business run by good, honest people - who are as friendly as can be. I have been using them for over 15 years now and Khim always remembers me and how my shirts and suits need to be cleaned. The wash and fold service is a great time saver and very reasonable. read more

This place is a lifesaver for wash and fold, especially since I don't have laundry in my building. They are so fast and friendly. The prices are definitely affordable, especially since it means not having to spend a few of those precious weekend hours in a coin-operated laundromat! read more
