TLJ is a French Asian bakery that offers cakes, pastries, bread, and handcrafted beverages. "Tous les jours" is a French phrase that translates to "every day" or "all the time" in English... meaning all of their products are freshly baked daily! I visited the Bergenfield location on Mother's Day to pick up a cake. There's a parking lot in the back of the store. The interior is small with a few tables/seating available. Very clean, bright, and warm look. It was a busy Sunday morning, but the employees worked quickly and efficiently. Their cake menu has a huge variety of options - fruity flavors, chocolate, Asian-inspired flavors, etc. I ordered the Raspberry Lemon cake (~$45). Yes, their cake prices are on the steeper end... but they are beautifully decorated, elegant, made with high quality ingredients, and freshly baked on-site every day. The cake was packaged in a specially designed box. I loved the functionality of it; it was sturdy with handles for you to hold at the top. It even came with a complimentary cake cutter, matches, and Mother's Day cake topper! My mom and family enjoyed the cake. It was light, fruity, and zesty! Not overly sweet at all. The buttercream frosting was made out of raspberry cream cheese. The cake was moist and fluffy, with a taste similar to lemon pound cake. It had layers of raspberry and lemon filling. It was topped with yellow and pink piping for a vibrant pop of color. I would definitely come back here to get cakes for a special occasion. Relatively new TLJ on Washington Ave Bergenfield. Small parking lot at the back which is a great feature because it's on a busy road. Quite small inside. I don't feel they have all the bakery items? Or they just sold out so fast? You can order coffee, tea, cakes at the counter. The staff seem nice. Some tables in the front for dine in. Very clean. Lights come in from floor window. Orange cream cake slice was my favorite, along with the seasonal pumpkin cream cheese croissant. Workers weren't friendly and seemed annoyed to be there. Finally got a chance to stop by this TLJ that opened few months back. Really neat clean store. Everything still looks new. Very bright and well decorated. Even though I went around evening time, there was a good amount of bakery goods on the shelves. The cake collection was amazing as usual. I got some cheese pancake, Portuguese egg tar and Macaroon. We came here to pick up a last minute birthday cake and were excited to see a Tous Les Jours in the area. They have limited choices of cakes available in comparison to other locations that are connected to an Hmart. The place has its own parking lot and is located in a busy street. We also picked up some milk bread and they were sliced much thinner than usual. All in all, we will definitely be returning to this location to try other items. read more

I basically just walked in and didn't really know what I wanted, the service was very good as she was very patient with me while I was figuring out what to order. Their bubble tea is so good! I'm a regular customer here and have never had any problems before with other baristas. However, today around 10:40 a.m., there was a barista who seemed new. When I gave him my order, I clearly explained that I wanted the Butter Pecan Tiramisu Latte, but he gave me the wrong drink -- just a regular Tiramisu Latte. I didn't complain at first; I simply went back to the cashier and politely let him know that my order was incorrect. He insisted that it was the correct drink, even though I've ordered the same one three times in the past and never had any issues. He kept trying to make me take the wrong drink because, according to him, it was the same thing. I even had to pull up proof from my Uber Eats order history and show pictures of my previous drinks just to get him to make a new one. The whole situation took about 20 minutes for just one drink because he wouldn't believe me. It was such an inconvenience since I had to get to school. I tried to stay patient, but he was rude and even questioned me by saying, "Did you order it here?" and "Are you sure it's this location?" This was completely unacceptable.
