"Tous les jours" is a French phrase that translates to "every day" or "all the time" in English... meaning all of their products are freshly baked daily! I visited the Bergenfield location on Mother's Day to pick up a cake. There's a parking lot in the back of the store. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is small with a few tables/seating available. Very clean, bright, and warm look.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was a busy Sunday morning, but the employees worked quickly and efficiently. Their cake menu has a huge variety of options - fruity flavors, chocolate, Asian-inspired flavors, etc. I ordered the Raspberry Lemon cake (~$45). Yes, their cake prices are on the steeper end... but they are beautifully decorated, elegant, made with high quality ingredients, and freshly baked on-site every day. The cake was packaged in a specially designed box. I loved the functionality of it; it was sturdy with handles for you to hold at the top. It even came with a complimentary cake cutter, matches, and Mother's Day cake topper! My mom and family enjoyed the cake. It was light, fruity, and zesty! Not overly sweet at all. The buttercream frosting was made out of raspberry cream cheese. The cake was moist and fluffy, with a taste similar to lemon pound cake. It had layers of raspberry and lemon filling. It was topped with yellow and pink piping for a vibrant pop of color. I would definitely come back here to get cakes for a special occasion. Finally got a chance to stop by this TLJ that opened few months back. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Really neat clean store. Everything still looks new. Very bright and well decorated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even though I went around evening time, there was a good amount of bakery goods on the shelves. The cake collection was amazing as usual. We came here to pick up a last minute birthday cake and were excited to see a Tous Les Jours in the area. They have limited choices of cakes available in comparison to other locations that are connected to an Hmart. The place has its own parking lot and is located in a busy street. I'm a regular customer here and have never had any problems before with other baristas. However, today around 10:40 a.m., there was a barista who seemed new. When I gave him my order, I clearly explained that I wanted the Butter Pecan Tiramisu Latte, but he gave me the wrong drink -- just a regular Tiramisu Latte. I didn't complain at first; I simply went back to the cashier and politely let him know that my order was incorrect. He insisted that it was the correct drink, even though I've ordered the same one three times in the past and never had any issues. He kept trying to make me take the wrong drink because, according to him, it was the same thing. I even had to pull up proof from my Uber Eats order history and show pictures of my previous drinks just to get him to make a new one. The whole situation took about 20 minutes for just one drink because he wouldn't believe me. It was such an inconvenience since I had to get to school. I tried to stay patient, but he was rude and even questioned me by saying, "Did you order it here?" and "Are you sure it's this location?" This was completely unacceptable. Perfect place to unwind with some good coffee and treats from a tired day of work. Owner is very nice, place is super clean with plenty of parking in the back. New bakery in the area. We found it from a flier in the mail and just gave it a try. Very Good. The owner welcomed us as we came in and recommended a few items. He was very nice. BUT my simple request for a single decaf espresso with a dollop of foam was met with much confusion. First I was told there is no decaf( not true). The amount of milk I wanted caused the barista much distress, and I was charged .80 for almond milk when I asked for skim.
