My toxic trait is convincing myself I need to eat something sweet after every meal... I love coming to Chocolate House to satisfy my cravings. This location in Englewood recently opened a few months ago. It's a great addition to Palisades Ave! AND they're open late! I'm glad they're expanding in Jersey. You can indulge in crepes, waffles, milk shakes, cakes, sundaes... anything and everything with chocolate. I always order one of their crepes. I tried the House Special ($12) which came with strawberries, bananas, lotus biscoff, and nutella. Service might seem a bit chaotic because they're very busy, but the employees work efficiently and are still friendly. They make the crepes fresh on the spot and pack it with all of the toppings and spreads you want. The fruits are fresh too, which is a major plus ++++ While the prices may look steep, the portion sizes are enough for two people. I'm just a big back at heart, so I can eat it by myself LOL. I've been to two of their other Jersey locations and their quality and service is consistent all around. You can't go wrong with stopping by for some dessert!

I was home and really wanting something sweet so when I opened the app to look for dessert the first thing that popped up was this place along with a picture of the Dubai crêpe and I was done. About half an hour later it showed up at my door and I couldn't wait to dig in. I also added fresh strawberries to my order however I didn't see them on top or when I sliced in but it was at the very bottom tucked in and it wasn't much so it could have been missed. It was good however I didn't care for the chocolate they used. The portion and ratios of everything except the strawberries were good too.

This satisfied a major chocolate craving for me. :) This place just opened a location in Englewood. They offer an array of decadent desserts, including crepes, milkshakes, Dubai chocolate, churros, and more. I ordered a pistachio crepe with chocolate drizzle and strawberries--it was perfection! You can fully customize your crepes, and my friend enjoyed mini pancakes loaded with chocolate, strawberries, and bananas. The portions are generous; my crepe was enough to feel like a full meal. Service was quick and friendly, and the presentation of the desserts was beautiful. The interior is clean and inviting, with seating available and even a lovely flower backdrop perfect for photos. Tip: Try the Dubai chocolate! At $8, it's a good value and delicious.

Nice addition to the Englewood area. Gentlemen working behind the counter were patient, friendly, and good at making crepes! Modern and bright shop. Solid selection of desserts. I jumped on the Dubai bandwagon and had the crepe with Dubai chocolate filling. Really delicious. Waffle stick and churro bites were also quite good. It's certainly not a subtle dessert, they give you lots of rich and sweet sauces. I would certainly return.

Chocolate lovers - there's a new spot in town! I really like the variety of menu items you can get here. There are crepes, shakes, strawberry cups, brownies, you can even get the strawberries with the Dubai chocolate. The price range is decent as well ranging from $10-$12 depending on what you get. I got the brownie with the Dubai chocolate and it did not disappoint. Thank you!

The guys here are friendly! They are fairly new and appear to be working on their kinks. Seating is a bit chaotic. Their mini pancakes with nutella and dubai chocolate bar are decent. They do have a nice family box and dip box option available which I would return try with my family.

Been dying to try the dubai crepe from chocolate house and it lived up to the hype! I went to this location on a Saturday around 6PM and since it's in downtown Englewood it is all street parking but it's free after 6pm. It is a small location but there is plenty of seating. Service was kind and all the desserts come out fresh and fast! Super satisfied and will definitely return.

Great service. Delicious crepes that are fresh and flavorful. Shake was also very good. Pretty busy and I see why. We had a great experience.

Service is slow since lines are so long. I had a custom crepe and I didn't like the fact that they didn't add anything of the requested toppings on top of my crepe. Overall tasted good and fulfilled my sweet tooth!

I got my usual matcha soft serve on a cone and it came in a huge swirl on a waffle cone. The ice cream had a strong matcha flavor and was creamy and fluffy. I will say I had this at 9:30 pm and couldn't sleep due to the strength of the matcha but that goes to show that they really put a good amount! A great place to have some quick dessert in Fort Lee!

It turned out the red bean was spoiled, so I had to go back and ask them to remake the drink without it. This time, on 12/27 around 5:30 PM, I ordered a hojicha latte. After placing my order, I noticed there was a free size upgrade promotion running throughout December, so I asked if my drink could be upgraded. The staff member said no, explaining that it had to be done while ordering for the promotion to apply. That excuse felt very lame and honestly came across as laziness, especially since it was a free upgrade and could have easily been accommodated. At another Maiko location (Garden State Plaza), the staff proactively informed me about the promotion and asked if I wanted the upgrade, which is what I would expect. Unfortunately, the Fort Lee location didn't offer the same experience. Even after I asked, it felt like I was given weak excuses rather than a genuine effort to help. On top of that, the hojicha latte here was overly milky. I've had the same drink at other Maiko locations where it tasted much nuttier and more balanced, so this was disappointing. I really love Maiko overall, but based on these experiences, I wouldn't visit the Fort Lee location again.
