A decent sized group of friends came here during their Happy Hour. The interior was spacious and…read morelovely. There was a chic vibe to the place. Upon entering, there's a bar and crepe making station, with plenty of seating throughout, along with an outdoor area in the back. My friend had called previously to try to make a reservation, but was told the place doesn't accept them. When we arrived and asked if we could be seated together as much as possible, the hostess was not the nicest about it, saying we need to let the restaurant know in advance, which we tried to do. She proceeded to state that we would need to order a mix of crepes and from the dinner menu. Mind you, this is a newish business and there was nobody dining there at the time. Our group agreed to order from both the crepe and dinner menu, so we were able to all sit together toward the indoor back area. I ended up sharing an entree and crepe with a friend. We ordered the Steak Frites and Ground Beef savory Crepe. The Steak Frites consisted of hanger steak with garlic butter and fries. This was delicious! Steak was slightly crispy on the edges, juicy, and full of wonderful flavor from the butter. The fries were satisfyingly crispy and delightfully potato-y. As the Crepes were made, the yummy scent permeated the restaurant. The Crepe was also tasty, and wish I was able to try ground beef Crepe mixed with caramelized onion, but my friend asked for that to be left out. This was cooked perfectly and the tender, well seasoned beef combined well with the gooey melty cheese. For dessert, I had a scoop of Coffee Gelato, which was already pre scooped and served in a glass cup. This was pretty good, nicely creamy, and not too sweet. However, it tasted more like regular ice cream than gelato. Service in the beginning wasn't the best, but definitely improved. Our waiters were pleasant. As there are 100 types of Crepe on the menu, I would return to try some Crepes, both savory and sweet, such as Ham, Brie, Tomato and Pesto; Nutella, Marshmallows, Graham Crackers and Chocolate Drizzle; Guava, Ricotta and Chocolate Sauce, as well as Apple, Dulce de Leche and Cinnamon.

The crepe I had here was wimpy and I was sitting on a barstool that was rickety and wobbly. For the…read moreprice, it had very little filling and some of the fruit was frozen inside. They also charge a credit card surcharge, which I didn't realize until I got the bill (see pic). It's slimy how they sneak that in, especially when the product wasn't satisfying. There are other crepe places nearby on Dykman that give a lot more for the money. However, I do like that they have gluten free options here, so I'll give a star for that.

I feel scammed. My DULCE DE LECHE strawberry crepe ($8) was a catfish. I ordered it to go, drove…read morehome, and was excited to go innnnn. But, no. I expected a luscious spread of dulce de leche, which is a caramelized milk jam. Instead, they used CONDENSED MILK. Those two are NOT the same thing. I saw another review mentioning this issue before I came... Siiiigh @ God, is this what happens when I ignore my intuition and logic?! Lollllllll. While the crepe itself was moist and soft, it was ruined by the splashes of condensed milk. +1 for using fresh strawberries. Also... service was... awkward? Nice people, but awkward. It was like they were uncomfortable, but forcing small smiles through the interaction? They're a cafe so they sell all types of coffee, frappuccinos, smoothies, and the like. Wifi and small seating area available. Not likely I'll return as there's too many good cafes and crepe businesses in Bergen County.

Gotta love a dessert place that's open until midnight! I stopped by Leyra Chocolate around 10:30 pm…read moreon a weekend and it was busy and bustling. The two young gentlemen were working very hard fulfilling both online and in-person orders. They specialize in dessert crepes and waffles, but also offer chocolate-covered fruit skewers, milkshakes, sundaes, and vegan kofteh. Prices are steep, but I'd only get this as a treat once in awhile. I ordered the Lotus Crepe (~$13) which came with Lotus Butter, Lotus cookie crumbs, and milk and white Belgian chocolate. It took around 15 minutes, but I wasn't in any rush. The crepe didn't last very long once I took my first bite... The presentation was 10/10 and it tasted just as good. The cookie crumbs really elevated the sweet flavors. I wish the prices weren't so high because I would come more often. I think $13 for a crepe, especially since there wasn't even any fruit or many toppings inside of it, is high.

So yummy - if you have a sweet tooth, this is the place for you. We got a speculoos waffle and pistachio chocolate crepe to share and we ate up every bite. I personally loved the speculoos waffle more (they may call it something else besides speculoos but I can't recall at the moment), but I'm a big fan of cookie butter. The place is a little small and my family thought we might have to wait, but it was actually really easy and quick to get a table. The food comes out quickly and then you end up wolfing it down. Cute spot, very much recommend for those looking for a fun dessert in the area.

The fruits in the crepe were fresh and juicy. It was cooked to my liking - soft and tender in texture. It smelled sweet and looked appetizing. The only change I will make next time is asking them not to add the chocolate drizzle on top, I prefer my crepes only with Nutella because that is the only chocolate taste I want to savor. 9/10 The cappuccino was delightful, pleasing to the eyes, and with an aroma of cinnamon. It was light, creamy, smooth and balanced. I prefer almond milk and they had it. 10/10 The rum raisin ice cream was fresh, flavorful, and bright. 10/10 Service: Staff was kind, efficient, knowledgeable and attentive. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. When I asked what her favorite ice cream was she told me and her selection was in fact delicious. I love how accommodating she was. Customer service 10/10. Ambiance: This location is clean and beautifully decorated. It emits serenity and made me feel welcome. The furniture is pretty and comfortable and its size and placing makes the room look spacious. There are plant and floral decorations along the walls. Finally there is a beautiful bench inside. I am so happy that I found this treasure.
