I ordered a grilled cheese, French fries, Greek salad and side of tuna. Threw out almost everything. Salad was awful and tuna was watery and inedible. Was looking forward to trying this place :(

bad food , everything is bad , old meat , Chicken Alfredo is a trash it's soo sour and soo bad

Croissant egg and bacon sandwich

Gave this diner 2.5 stars for the food. But the location/inside would probably get one star. The croissant egg and bacon sandwich was good and reasonably priced. The diner itself had incense burning inside, not sure why.. it was upsetting me. I kept coughing from it. Then again, the whole restaurant smelled of smoke perhaps they were trying to cover it up. Do yourself a favor. Eat outside. The coat rack in the middle of the diner was also a nice touch.. probably one they could have lived without. Overall. Staff was kind. Breakfast food was good, but the place itself was nothing special.

First of all, Covid-wise, the restaurant seems to do everything to remain compliant, so that's awesome. I had the BBQ Honk Tonk burger and was thoroughly impressed (even if there was a lot of salt). The diner is more than just the food though, and so is this review. The waitress, Hannah, let me tell her a personal connection I had to the diner through a short story and I appreciate her time and kindness listening to me. The ambiance is excellent, the people are softly spoken and you feel a genuine warmth being there, like you're so much more than just a customer. Not just for my own personal reasons, I would go back in a moment and I recommend families to go to this slice of an old-world eating establishment.

Cafe Con Leche

What's up with the 2 stars people . Food is great, service is excellent and portions are a nice size. This is the Latin breakfast, Cafe Con Leche, and their coffee stop Lentil soup !! Everything was great give this place a try

Good diner that is clean and has a nice atmosphere. Interior is dated but not in a bad way. I had a cheeseburger with bacon on toast and a side salad, instead of fries. My server was super friendly and I sat in a booth by the window. I would definitely go back and try something else on the menu.

Food was blah. Undercooked and rushed. Not sure what I was expecting when it was rated two stars. Place needs some work.

In between the layers of cake are strips of dulce de leche with peach bits and cream. There is a crunchy meringue exterior and a garnished peach slice on top. It's not overpowering in sweetness and you'll definitely enjoy each bite. Lets start with the good, the cheese empanada was very cheese and with a lightly crispy/flaky crust. My daughter loved this! The caprese sandwich was warmed and so delicious! The chocolate mousse cup was light and airy with a crisp dark chocolate cup. One of the best mousse i have had! The cannolis my daughter loved . Now the bad... We ordered the mint lemonade for my daughter and found a bug in it ( like a fruit fly) as soon as it was brought to our table. When i took it back to the counter the lady just smiled at me and offered to replace saying she didnt "think" it was from the machine and just flying around. I told her it was unacceptable and would have been more upsetting had my daughter drank it. Then was given a light apology but thats all , which is so strange to me . Then i received the chai ( which at the counter i was informed could be made less sweet). It was overpoweringly sweet, when i took this back they said it was a premixed powder and already has the sweet mixed in ( very strange why i was told it could be adjusted then :/). Anyways, overall a nice clean place but check your drinks before drinking for sure . Loved all the food items we got though !

The pasta was very creamy and enjoyed the flavor. As someone who loves steak and is picky with how I receive it, I had ordered a porterhouse Medium Rare, the first one we received was overcooked to medium well and our server second guessed me when I brought it to attention. He had to call over another worker to double check and we had to ask once again if we were able to get it redone to our liking before even getting it replaced right away. The second porterhouse we received was done correctly and was seasoned well and had enough fat to make it buttery and melty. Espresso Martini was made well and for Whiskey Sours, if you like them on the smokier side, I would recommend it. All in all, we enjoyed all the food but the only set back for us was that we had to wait a little longer for our steak which we wanted to pair with our pasta. By the time it came out correctly, our pasta was already cold.

We arrived right when they opened (perfect timing, especially with a snowstorm expected later that day), so the restaurant was still quiet. The space has a modern, upscale vibe that definitely feels suited for special occasions. It's located on a busy street, and while they do offer valet, we lucked out with free street parking since it was early. They offer a prix fixe brunch for $39 per person, which includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. It's a good way to experience the restaurant without committing to a full dinner price point--but be aware that quite a few items come with upcharges, and drinks are not included, so the bill can climb quickly. I do have a gluten allergy, and I was honestly surprised by how limited the gluten-free options were for a restaurant of this caliber. That said, I made it work: I started with a Bellini, had the sizzling slab of bacon as my appetizer, the recovery burger (no bun sub roasted potatoes as a side) as my main, and finished with the salted caramel gelato. Everything I had was enjoyable, but I would have appreciated more flexibility in the menu. The rest of the group (no dietary restrictions) had more variety to choose from and really enjoyed their meals, which is always a good sign. Service was attentive without being overbearing--likely helped by the fact that it wasn't too crowded yet--so we were able to relax and actually enjoy conversation, which made the celebration feel special. The restaurant also has a private back room that looks great for parties, plus a downstairs lounge area, which adds to its appeal as an event space. Overall, for me it's definitely more of a special occasion spot, and while the pricing is on the higher side for what you get, brunch feels like the best way to experience it. I'd come back again--but probably stick to brunch.

The menu had a variety of dishes like appetizers, soups, gyro, kebabs, pasta, pizzas, seafood, wraps and sandwiches. In drinks section, they had the Turkish coffee and tea. We started with their complementary bread, so fluffy and light, we pretty ate the whole thing before any of our dishes came. I ordered my favorite fried liver cubes from the hot apps section, and it was fantastic. It was full of flavor, perfectly sized cubes and properly fried. Tasted so good with the complimentary bread (we requested a second one). For entree we ordered the Mix Grill and Karisik Izgara as it was a perfectly sharable dish for two and we got to try 5 of their kebabs that are lamb shish, ground lamb, chicken shish, ground chicken and grilled meat patties. Both ground kebabs were excellent, full of flavors. The shish and patties were also good. We got the margarita pizza too, but that one was disappointed, seemed like some sauce was just thrown on top of the cheese and wasn't baked long enough. Our server was really friendly. She always stayed on top of things. Our dishes came out in quick time, it was impressive. Despite the shortcoming of the pizza, which is not usually a Turkish dish, I was thoroughly impressed by the actually Turkish dishes, like liver cubes and kebabs. I'll for sure visit them again whenever I feel like having kebabs next time

We had to ask twice for our rice we ordered for entrees to be brought out because our server forgot. Fine, that happens. But what really threw me off was when I questioned if the mold in my cheese was normal, the server assured me it was naturally occurring for the flavor. I felt gaslit because I have never had Parmesan with such questionable green growth on it for consumption in any restaurant in my entire life. The server said if it bothered me, he'd bring out fresh shavings with no mold. I have left pictures so you can be the judge of this. Aside from my minor issue with the cheese, the ambiance of the restaurant was nice and there's plenty of choices for meat and non-meat eaters alike

There is enough space for quite a few diners. So much so, I never feel cramped at whichever table I choose. Most recently, I had their BLT. It is a filling sandwich, but maybe not always as balanced as I'd like (could use more B), that comes with a bag of chips. Perfect for when I want something other than a bagel. Followed is a draft review from months ago, that I completely neglected to publish... I've come here pretty much every morning this week. While I previously sampled more of their menu, what I get is pretty simple, especially compared to what they have on offer. I get a plain bagel with scallion cream cheese and a drink. My drink order has ranged from an iced coffee to one of their 'Chillerz' frozen drinks. The scallion cream cheese is literally bursting with flavor! Each bite has juicy slivers of green onion. The spread being so rich in flavor is why I get it on a plain bagel, anything else would be overwhelming. The ice coffee is a self service situation. The brew is strong and occasionally slightly bitter. I combat that with half & half and some sugar/stevia. I've had the Frozen Caffe Caramel and Wildberry smoothie from the Chillerz menu. I'm more fond of the berry drink as the coffee didn't have enough of a caramel taste for me.

I ordered the Santa Fe egg white sandwiches, which came on one of their aptly named 'Asiago thintastic' bagels. When toasted, it was crackly on the outside with a distinct aged cheese flavor. It supposedly comes with roasted tomato salsa and spicy jalapeño salsa cream cheese; I don't know if I saw those distinct additions, but there was a zingy schmear of something that tasted like pimiento cheese that added incredible flavor. They were also perfectly amenable to my request to swap out the turkey sausage with a standard sausage patty. My husband opted for their healthier options. The Avocado Egg white sandwich, which comes with lettuce, tomato, avocado, and a fold of egg whites, was also delicious. Our order only took minutes, but everything was hot and fresh and I especially loved how melty the cheese in our sandwiches got. The name suggests they specialize in bagels and breakfast sandwiches, but there's a fair spread of hot sandwiches on the menu as well. There's plenty of seating inside this cavernous dining room, with both counters and tall stools by the windows or two- and four-top tables throughout. Bathrooms are also available at the very rear of the restaurant. In a strange and somewhat ironic twist, pets aren't allowed inside, but they sell dog treats (beef-based and adorably shaped into bagel shapes) by the counter.
