He never mentions "oh wait there will be a restocking fee". He simply just said yeah that's a good idea. Just go ahead and return anything you don't use if they don't want to install it. I primarily use Ganahl Lumber and or Jones lumber. I've never had a deal with restocking fees, especially with things that are in the original packaging. A total of two boxes they charge me $240 to restock TWO BOXES. So just in case you're thinking of using these guys just remember they will charge you an arm an a leg if something out of your control changes. More importantly they will not let you know before you buy anything, there's a hefty restocking fee.

(Not BB, but yall remember that place.) As the daughter of a professional tradesman, I know more than average about what I'm looking for in hardware. And Rudy was also helpful with a smile and without any of the attitude about helping a lady look for a special piece of hardware. I was a little sad when that old lumber yard place closed, mostly because Rudy. Now, I'd also go over to Bourget bros for garden rocks and the occasional drill bit. And yall could not imagine how delighted I was that BB had the wisdom to hire Rudy! I think higher of the whole establishment in general because of it. Our fella Rudy is working in the paint department and two weeks ago he helped me make some duplicate keys I needed. He's still being awesome. If you need paint or key or anything in Rudy's department, do yourself a favor and see this gem of a human. I snapped a lil pic to show my husband that Rudy is helping me. (I hope that cool with R.) I just think he's a hardworking, nice fella and I'm happy he's still working nearby. In my mind he's part of all the little things I like about living in SM. We were satisfied with this company even though their prices are higher than the other lumber yards like Crenshaw Lumber. We recently purchased some 2 x 10 Classic pre-primed fascia for a project. The product apparently was left out in the rain, because it showed quite a bit of mold or mildew on both sides. Our clients and myself are unhappy with the response from the manager and will now go back to purchasing our lumber from Crenshaw Lumber instead. It's a shame they didn't step up and offer anything to our clients for this $2,600. pile of junk. I will post photos of product as well.

They do this for good reason, they are a well stocked location. They have everything you may need when it comes to buildings a house from door knobs to knee pads to get the job done. They are a complete hardware store. Now what they can improve on is greeting the customers as they walk in and if they see that the customer looks a bit lost, offer to assist them. My husband walked around and around looking for a certain product and no one offered to help. He had to go ask for help. Not a good sign of customer service in my opinion. I appreciated the fact that they had a staff member spraying areas that were often touch and even spraying some products that may have been touched and put back. Sanitizer was also provided at the checkout line which was awesome. Plenty of parking available and the prices are reasonable.
