I recently started remodeling my kitchen and initially went to the Contractor Warehouse in Gardena. The people there were nice, as always, but I didn't realize there was another location much closer to me. I needed something quickly, so I decided to stop by this location instead. My first visit here was a great experience. The employees were attentive and greeted me as soon as I walked in. Every time I've come back since then, I've received the same excellent customer service. I especially want to recognize Andrew and Karla. They always go above and beyond to make sure I have everything I need. If something is out of stock or I realize I need something else, they take the time to help me come up with creative alternatives and find the best solution for my project. I wanted to get shingles today an after asking them where the shingles are I went outside and grabbed one and went back to the building to see the casher. Now, cashier calis. another guy that says that I have to go back, drive through with my car an come back( with a big smile on his face). I thanked them for their great service and left . Received exceptional customer service today from Luis. My contractor was reluctant to shop at this location because he made a comment about staff not being very helpful at this location. We initially had someone else assisting us and my contractor asked the employee if something was in stock, his response was he didn't think so. I asked him well can you find out......This was already an indication of how things were headed. Luckily, the employee had Luis assist us and immediately it was a different energy. His movement was energetic and his personality too. I asked him if worked at HD for a long time and surprisingly he said he'd been working there for 7 months. Hopefully, he'll continue providing good customer service and my contractor said he was a great help and made the process quick. Update: I wanted to acknowledge the acting Mgr's customer service as well of rectifying an issue that would've caused a delay in a kitchen remodeling project. Montes recognized the issue, stated she would remind staff to check inventory on will call orders and made arrangements for the item to still be available as needed. Unfortunately, the item's design did not match pre-existing cabinets, but fortunately for HD all new kitchen cabinets were purchased. read more

My dad was just there today, and the cashier lady was so rude , she raised her voice when he asked for someone to help him load a door he had just bought. He suffers from back issues and for her to be rude with an attitude UNACCEPTABLE! she has no whatsoever customer service skills. And to be speaking like that to customers that is really unprofessional. Hope this dosnt happen to someone else. Really disappointed. Went in for a very specific Duster/mop, that was marketed as being sold at store as well. Unfortunately the item was only available online and not in store. Beside not finding my item, the staff was very helpful with trying to find something similar. They also have hand sanitizer everywhere which I thought was pretty awesome! read more

The staff at this location do not want to help at all, they obviously have zero training in customer service. Although, its easy to blame the staff there are clearly no expectations set for them. The one staff member on the floor was actively avoiding us as customers and the group in the front barely looked up when we approached the desk. This has been our experience twice. I love the prices at HD Supply for tiles. They also have great pricing for quartz countertops. The quartz countertops have limited selection and isn't going to be luxury top-of-the-line, so if that's what you need, look elsewhere. Selection is limited for the tiles as well, but if you're looking for a good ol' white subway tile, this is the place to go. There's limited staff here. Finding items is a challenge. This place is more for contractors, so if you're not handy, I would suggest going to Home Depot or Lowe's instead. No lumber yard at this location. read more

I have been to this HD Supply on several occasions... Pros: Plenty of parking. Cons: Most of the staff here are not aware of what is exactly in the store. I mean, not really what is in the store at all evidenced by me asking if they sell laminate and being taken on a 10-minute exploration by a staff member to find out whether or not it is sold there. In addition, this location does not have much to choose from. I find it hard to believe that someone can leave a review stating that they use this location for all of their construction needs. Grand opening today, first thing notice only one door to enter and exit this place..it was like I sorry, you go a head, excuse me, hot flash back to the 405, 605, and 22 freeway crossing each other. The staff was friendly and ready to help, there were some one at the beginning on most of the aisles....now most of the aisles are small like 7 ft. across you can not push a shopping cart down one and another person walking side by side the other person would have to back that thing back, I really don't see me doing business here because of Lowes, they did get $36.02 from me 8 flood light bulbs, 50 ft. expandable hose and a hose nozzle. read more

I don't normally write reviews, but Marion gave us the BEST customer service ever!!!!! I'm doing kitchen re-modeling and needed some new cabinets. I had never heard of HD Supply but a friend of mine swore by it, so I had to check it out. Not only were the prices very reasonable, everyone was so willing to help and very knowledgeable which was great. We bought soft-close cabinets for our re-model and they were able to assemble and deliver them at a great price! We even had a discrepancy with our cabinets and while ALL the staff were amazing, Marion really went that extra mile. Keeping in contact with us on updates to spending extra time in addressing our needs to making us feel confident with our big purchase...I'm definitely coming here for all my future home improvement needs and will make sure to spread the word! Walked in somewhat hesitantly with my wife as the place was mostly empty on a Thursday night unlike most Home Depots plus I had read reviews on other HD stores on poor customer service. I asked for directions, and was warmly greeted as well as escorted to the interior door section. Within another minute, another HD supply employee came over to offer his help. when I informed him his colleague was already helping, he said "that's ok, I work this section and we can both help". Wow, we're at HD Supply, and they treat us like Nordstrom! After indicating that Home Depot was less expensive, our man Carnell (?) offered to beat the price. Again, wow, unexpected. So we proceeded to also purchase our backsplash. $800+ later w/4 interior doors and backsplash for the kitchen, my wife and I left impressed with the extremely warm and competent service and great prices.
