    Wife and I found a home in Hermosa Beach we needed to remodel. Ferguson was recommended so I checked the place out. Glad I did as I met Sri Haslam - Showroom Consultant. She took the time to listen and understand the vibe we were looking for. She provided recommendations and went out of her way to get the products in ahead of schedule. We purchased an entire kitchen appliance package and several other bathroom fixtures. Showroom is also pretty amazing as well. Highly recommend this place and Sri!

    Ferguson sold us a defective shower head. Been working with manufacturer to fix. This is our shower today. Completely unusable

Unfortunately, that wire keeps water from leaking out of the washer and stuffing it back in is not a solution. Myrna at Gardena Appliances had been so helpful during our crisis when our built in oven died and gave us advice to save money, I decided to give her a call to see what they could do. GA was the only company that gave me a price for the entire job (as long as nothing extra was required) instead of giving me the price for just coming out and saying they would credit that to the complete job. Props to GA for that. All the other companies Yelp referred only revealed service call prices. How do you compare one mystery with another? Didn't need to worry about that with GA. Myrna and Jose were able to come out the same day and when she learned that I was the one who had left a complimentary Yelp review for her previous assistance, her face lit up and really appreciated the review. I'm so happy we were finally able to do business. They took care of the problem in no time flat and for an extremely reasonable price. I look forward to calling them first if we have appliance problems in the future that aren't covered under warranty. They take pride in their work and serving the community in the South Bay. Silvia, Illiana and Michelle at the office are all very helpful (yes, i know everyone by name at this point because we call them for everything) I initially thought they were mainly an appliance repair company but they also sell appliances and are very competitive. We feel fortunate to have found this company (oddly initially sent out by our home warranty company which is 50/50 on techs. When you use a company outside home warranty, that really says something. They are that good!

    Haus was called to look at my downdraft Miele fan unit by Fidelity National Home Warranty, who is…read moremy home warranty provider. Ahead of time, i wrote to Haus to say they needed to be familiar w/ the unit because they aren't common and mine was a number of years old. The tech came, and days later, submitted a report (according to Fidelity) that says the unit 'may' be under warranty. The unit is 13 years old - had Haus bothered to do 30 seconds of research - which I ultimately did - they would have discovered that this model has been out of production for 8-9 years, and that it is impossible that it could be under warranty. Because they provided erroneous info to the warranty co (which of course the warranty co hid behind), I'm now in a dispute w/ the warranty co. This vendor is obviously not competent, provides info that is not researched and can cause a huge problem (in this instance, if i didn't fight the outcome, I'd be out a very large sum for repair/replacement costs), and it feels to me (this is my opinion, not fact), that they are tying their report to what the warranty company would like to see happen, vs. taking a beat and figuring it out. Very disappointing. Recommend you do not use this company. Re Haus' response: If the company actually thought the unit was or might reasonably have been under warranty - at 13 years old and clearly with wear - that would mean nearly every appliance this vendor services for Fidelity would come with a report that says to Fidelity: "Better check to see if the factory warranty is still in place". It's nonsensical. I've witness scores, if not hundreds, of my real estate clients' warranty claims over the years: Warranty companies do not, as a matter of course, hear from vendors to 'check if the original factory warranty is in place.' My supposition, and it's only that, is that due to the possible cost involved, that Fidelity and its vendors have an arrangement for this kind of ridiculous, hail mary approach to see if the customer (me) gets worn out and gives up. Otherwise, this vendor is just prognosticating, without basis, that a unit would still be under warranty, without looking at wear, without looking at if the unit is even availble, and with no basic understanding of how short factory warranties for appliances in fact are. Whatever the case, it is my opinion, they were not competent, and it's costing me time to fight with the warranty co over something that never should have realistically been raised. AVOID THIS VENDOR.

This company is very professional from top to bottom with the service side being outstanding. Have had a Frigidaire refrigerator giving me loads of problems and the costs were rising over 600.00. As consumers, we're at the mercy at times of the repair company when it comes to charges. But, South Bay Appliance came to the rescue! I set up the appointment with them and Tom came out to analyze the problem. Within an hour, he found the issue and communicated with me the cost to repair. The cost was so reasonable and had Tom do the job. The overall experience with South Bay Appliance was excellent and I've found my new appliance repair company. After a condescending speech about how to use a microwave, I said I've been using one for fifty years. He said verbatim, "they don't make them like they used to". It was less than a week after purchasing. I found a better one at Costco for about the same price. I recommend anywhere but here.

Best Price Appliance Repair sent a technician named Arthur to my house. He determined that the oven had a loose gas valve which was making a lot of noise and giving me wildly fluctuating temperature readings during cooking. I thought the thermostat was broken, and I couldn't figure out why the oven was making rattling noises during cooking. Fortunately, Arthur was able to fix my oven on the spot, and I was able to use the oven this weekend without any issues. If you need to hire someone for this kind of work, I recommend these guys. They saved me a lot of money.

    About two weeks ago, my fridge began making a burned plastic/rubber smell. I went ahead and deep…read morecleaned the inside and the back of the fridge (the coils) but the smell persisted. When I called Best Price, someone answered immediately and their fee to come out was more reasonable than some of the other places I reached out to. The reason for my rating is that it appears the technician that came to my home could have been more thorough. When he arrived, I explained the situation and he also noted that he smelled the scent that is concerning me. He spent some time reviewing the back of the fridge and he concluded there was nothing noticeably wrong and recommended I unplug it and deep clean it again to help air out the smell. He believes this fridge is nearing its end (I've had it for around six years). I paid and that was that. The problem is that when I emptied out the fridge, specifically the freezer, I saw black dust or streaks (not noticed the last I deep cleaned). A quick Google search and a family friend who is a handyman shared that it may be an electrical issue. All this to say, I paid for a diagnostic service that didn't provide a clear answer (especially since it's not normal to fridges to smell like something is burning) because it appears the technician could have been more thorough to explain any additional options or review components inside the fridge. Now I have to go out and buy a new fridge to avoid a potential fire hazard.
