These guys recently tiled our bathroom walls and floor. I found them to be very cordial, attentive to our wishes, professional, diligent and hard working and, importantly, quite reasonably priced compared to the competition. This, in my opinion is a winning combination: good work coupled with good value, so I highly recommend them to others needing similar work. read more

Kevin and his team were phenomenal. They were communicative at every step of the process. Solid craftsmanship, great work, and very fair pricing. I had water damage caused by the previous owner and Kevin and his team were quick to help solve the issues. The bathroom I had was about 100 sq ft and I had his team do a shower tub and floors and they were able to complete the work in 3 days. I can't recommend KZ Tile and Stone enough and would hire them again! read more

Had a 9:00 am appointment to walk through the job site for an estimate on Monday, July 22nd. Kevin and I arranged this the previous Friday (see text screen shot) and I rearranged my work schedule and other priorities for him. He never showed, nor contacted me to explain or apologize. This is for a job with over 1700 sqft of demolition and tile. Not a small job. Kevin seems to be unreliable at best. read more

We had to replace our home's plumbing last year, and they unfortunately had to cut into our master shower tile. We knew we'd have to retile the entire shower, and found Kevin here on Yelp. Kevin and his team were wonderful to work with! Kevin responded promptly to all my questions and was knowledgeable and so attentive to detail. He and Miguel did an incredible job on the tile installation! The demo and installation took five days, and they were excellent to work with! I wish we had more tile work for them to do because I would absolutely go to Kevin first, and would recommend this company to anyone needing tile work. If you're looking for a contractor for your shower tile, look no further. Kz Tile and Stone is who you're looking for! read more

They advertise kitchen & bath tiling, so I contacted them for a tile job to re-tile a hallway & bathroom on the westside. Their response was "sorry cannot service this request." They are a tile installer that does not take tile jobs. Weird. Waste of time. read more

After contacting countless contractors to remodel a fireplace, Kevin responded promptly and provided a very competitive quote. A slab of stone was purchased which Kevin transported and had fabricated. A crew of 3 arrived ON TIME consecutively for 4 days. More work was added into the project, which Kevin was able tackle without issues. The fireplace turned out perfect! Kevin and his team painted the entire wall and cleaned up daily! Highly recommend this company and look forward to working with them in the future. read more

These guys are the real deal. Courteous and came back to fix an issue of mildew in the corner. They're available super early (a bonus for me as we are up early). I will be installing splash guards as Kevin mentioned it would keep happening due to moisture sitting in that area. Thanks guys! Will be calling them for future tile work read more

10/10 Highly Recommend. Kevin was super communicative throughout the process. He was also very helpful in providing his professional opinion about which finishings would work the best in my space, and even responded to my questions via text after hours. Crew arrived as scheduled, on time, and finished earlier than expected. Final product was gorgeous and just what I was looking for. And the best part of all, his price was very reasonable for a quality job we'll done. Highly recommend KZ Tile and Stone and would absolutely use again. read more

At first I was skeptical because I only saw 9 reviews on this page, but rest assured, Kevin and Carlos are amazing!! Kevin is very responsive and his team was reliable, on time, and clean. The job only took three days even thought it was expected to be four or five, and it was the most cost efficient estimate out of everyone else I contacted. Also, I was indecisive and told Carlos to use white grout instead of the colored grout I originally bought on the floor and shower floor, and I ended up hating it after I saw it all done. He was so accommodating, he cut it all out and redid it even though it was a lot of extra work due to the mosaic tiles. I am extremely happy with the final product and would 100% recommend Kevin's team and will bring them back when I do our guest bath. read more

BEWARE!!Kevin, the owner, came out and provided a fair quote. He was very nice. However, the price increased midway through the job. Furthermore, the grout cracked in 3 of the bathrooms they installed tile within 2 months after they finished. I called Kevin and asked him to come out and remedy the problem, but he said it would cost more money. I told him that the grout should not have cracked within 2 months and refuse to pay him another dime. Long story short, he puts on a good front but does not guarantee any of his work. I would not hire him again. read more

Kevin and Carlos did a great job on my shower. It was a botched job from a previous contractor, see images. Kevin was on time and explained what they would do and gave me a fair price. Carlos completed the job in two days and it looks fantastic. They were both professional and I am very happy. Would recommend! read more

I cannot recommend KZ tile enough I very randomly found Kevin on Yelp. He was in and out of my kitchen and 3 hours the job looks fantastic he doesn't charge a minimum work charge as so many tile setters I spoke to did. Kevin and his team are extremely professional and were a well-oiled machine. They're all super friendly... Once again I recommend them and will be working with them again in the near future. read more

Kz Tile and Stone - The backsplash in my kitchen - Tiling Near Me - Hawthorne, California

Kevin and the team at KZ Tile & Stone are incredibly talented, professional and very price competitive. We had numerous trades come through for a large multi scope, seven-figure renovation project of our home and KZ was by far the most talented and pleasant of the bunch. Not only are they expert at their craft, but their entire crew completed the work with a cheerful attitude throughout the project and always worked to find a way to deliver what we asked. Kevin kindly agreed to discount the original estimate but my wife and I were so impressed with the quality of their work, their professionalism, and ability to deliver ahead of schedule that we voluntarily paid the discount right back to them as a well deserved bonus. We wholeheartedly recommend Kevin / KZ Tile! read more

We had such a great experience with Kevin for our bathroom tile project that we needed done quickly. Kevin responded almost immediately with some follow up questions and a quote, and was able to start right away. He also assisted with guiding me on quality materials to purchase when I asked for recommendations. Even when we had a plumbing setback and had to wait for a plumber to come out, Kevin happily rescheduled the completion of the project at our request and made it a priority to have Carlos return the next day once the plumber was done. Couldn't have gone any smoother and has been the best experience I have had with any contractor in LA. We will definitely be using KZ again! read more

Caused water damage by leaving water valve open, broke the front door Baldwin lock and produced highly uneven colored grout lines. This crew was on site for two consecutive days when no other contractor was. Electronically time tagged photos taken at the end of these two days (and prior to their work) showed no water damage before their arrival and water marks on the wall and water puddle on the floor next to the water valve ON THE SECOND DAY OF THEIR VISIT (see photos). No other crew was on site during these two days and in the subsequent days (the weekend). No one else stepped on these tiles as the crew lead, Kevin, asked not to step on the tiles after they were laid the first day. A person named Samantha who refused to provide her last name and claimed she is the owner of KZ Tile and Stone called to demand stop contacting them and refuse to bear any responsibility. The resulting water damage is extensive: Water from the upstairs kitchen had leaked through plumbing openings to affect downstairs walls and ceiling between the floors as determined by professional damage remediation company. KZ Tile and Stone claimed no responsibility and refused to pay for damages. The bill to repair the water damage has exceeded the cost of the tile installation. KZ Tile and Stone needs to cover (1) the full water damage remediation and restoration including drywalls and mold prevention in the structure, as well as (2) repair of the front door lock they broke. read more

What an absolute delight to have this team work at our house! We needed to change the tiles for our pool around the edge, but got turned down by a few pool restoration companies. One of the companies kindly suggested that, for our relatively small project, we might want to look into a service that does tiles and stones. Hence Kevin's team! Kevin and his crew were diligent, thoughtful, and meticulous. They went out of their way to have us find the right equipment and materials. They ensured that our yard was spotless after they finished. They came early and worked through the day. They delivered what they promised, with a price that you can't beat. I am glad to learn that they do floors and bathroom/kitchen tiles too, and I now know who to contact for my next project. Book his team. You won't regret it! read more
