Walked in to find a store full of beautiful things to upgrade or repair your bathroom or kitchen. I was personally looking for a part to repair a leaking shower. I had looked all over the place and they had exactly what I needed. Don't remember the name of the workers, but started off with an African American man who was very helpful and ended up being helped by a very helpful and kind Hispanic man. Either way, drove a great distance for excellent service and my parts. The place is clean, easy to find off of a main street. Easy parking and plenty to choose from. Definitely recommend! read more

This place is definitely not the cheapest, but when you're looking for a rare plumbing item or fixture repair part this is the place to go. For me i found certain O-ring sizes for old fixtures that none of the big box stores carry and I got rings for my old piping here as well. Parking is good here as well and it's very convient to me, but I know what I want always so it's not a bad experience, definitely not a place for newbies or somene needing advice, on what to buy as it's very old school and for professionals. read more

The owner here is a real jerk and extremely rude! I had a very small gumball machine in this establishment, which was for a good cause; it donated proceeds to children in need. The National Children's Cancer Society to be exact. And I was told to take it out because "it was in the way" and because "it was not selling " This machine is about 3' tall, and the base is about a foot in diameter. This machine was in the corner, NOT in the way at all! He then proceeded to tell me it doesn't sell, which this machine was my best-performing machine thus far. This is a plumbing supply store, it's not like customers were coming here solely for this gumball machine! I showed him the quarters that it made, and I still asked if I could move it before taking it out completely. He was very aggressive in telling me to take it away! So no, I DON'T recommend coming here for your plumbing needs. Hirsch Pipe and Supply in Lawndale is way better and way more friendly than this jerk! read more

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place, especially the manager, Henri. I would give them zero stars if I could. We came in ready to make major purchases for a full home renovation including faucets, tubs, sinks, toilets, vanities, and drains. We gave Henri our budget upfront, expecting knowledgeable guidance, but instead he wasted hours of our time showing us products far beyond our stated price range and offered no effort to help us find anything that actually fit. When we visited a competitor the next day, we realized just how off he and the experience was. Either he pushed brands and products that made no sense for our budget or his prices are wildly inflated. On top of that, his attitude was detestable. He was dismissive, condescending, and openly chauvinistic toward my wife. It is hard to believe someone in customer service could behave this way. Business must be good for him to treat paying customers with such arrogance. Months later, when we found out our chosen supplier could not get the soaker tub we wanted, we reluctantly went back to see if Henri could help. True to form, he was rude, unhelpful, and laughed at us when we asked if he would match a competitor's price, saying no because they were not an authorized dealer. When we explained we would be requesting a credit from our rep for the mix up, he laughed again and said, "Good luck with that." Well, we got the $1,000 credit and ended up buying the same soaker tub from another company in Los Angeles for even less than our original quote just to avoid giving Henri the sale. So thank you, Henri. Your arrogance actually saved us money, and we were able to spend $25,000 with one of your competitors instead. Save yourself the frustration of going here and specifically avoid Henri. You will be glad you did. read more

Looking for incompetency? You have found the right place! After multiple (yes, multiple visits) to the store, consulting with three different employees, I still did not get all the essential parts to finish the remodel of my bathroom. Knowing that I am inexperienced in this area, I consulted who I thought would be experts (as they work at place that sells all of the plumbing items needed for the remodel). They are not. I asked again, again, and again, each time I went to the store if I needed to purchase anything else, as the remodel was just around the corner, and was told on repeat that I was good to go. Spoiler alert, I was not. The first time, I was told the sink I picked was the wrong size and I need to pick a new one (it was not, and the one I picked fit perfectly, so thank you for that waste of time). The second time, I was told everything I picked would take 6 weeks to ship so I needed to pick new items again (and that the previous employee who helped me didn't know anything about anything). The third time, I changed the whole look and design of the bathroom based on what they had in stock right then and there, checking that I had everything I needed, again (and again...). Only to find out mid-construction that I did not have all I needed because when I specified I want these two items, I guess that meant I only wanted one of them, but please act like you gave me both, and try to make it seem like I was the fool. Alex was so patient & kind, and he explained everything about the bidet seat we purchased, both over the phone and in person; he took so much time with us, and we never felt rushed. YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2017 - PART 2: 59/100 One of my toilets wouldn't stop leaking, so I dropped by Home Depot to score whatever part it needed. Unfortunately, they no longer carried whatever that was. But luckily, they referred us to Rebacks. Sure enough, they had it! But I thought I was quite pricey. I guess it's because it's no longer available everywhere. (I'm sure I could have found it cheaper online, but, it just couldn't wait.) What they do have, though, is some cool stuff! What beautiful choices in bath accessories - from faucets to sinks to tubs! My contractor sent me to Reback's for vanities, sinks, toilets, shower valves and faucets for my major remodel. He knows that I do not want common Home Depot contractor grade stuff and I was not disappointed in the selection of product here at a Reback's. For the 1-1/2 hours that I was there, I got personal help from Henri the manager in selecting each item that I needed, something that you never get at any home improvement store. He had knowledge and explained the differences in the models that I was interested in. He made me feel confident with my choices, unlike the idiots at Home Depot that try to act like experts but have to go ask another associate for help or just feed you a line of BS. Reback's sells premium grade products. It cannot be compared with prices of contractor grade stuff at Lowe's or Home Depot. I don't mind at all paying a premium for expert personal service and high end fixtures. Reback's is a good old fashioned brick-and-mortar establishment where you still get good quality and personal service. 4 Stars and not 5 because there is a negative to Reback's service: The woman who answers the phone there is not very friendly, and some of the others I happened to speak to seemed impatient. Place is a bit of an old school dump where you would be more comfortable if you are a plumber as they cater to plumbers but the also have a tight and packed showroom with high end products. Best to go in for help as you can get some very patient and helpful people on the phone or some real jerks. Most of the time I've had jerks. When I purchased a bathroom faucet the salesman said he would have it in a couple of days to a week (exact words), so 5 days later I called and said, "I happen to have the day off and I was wondering if my faucet came in?" The guy on the phone said, No, it will take a couple of weeks. I responded I was told it would be a week, So he starts tearing into me, "IT HASN'T EVEN BEEN A WEEK! YOUR FAUCET WON'T BE HERE FOR 2 MORE WEEKS! Then he starts repeating himself and I am thinking, who talks to customers this way? I've worked in customer service for years and have never ever raised my voice, let alone shown frustration. Obviously not wanting to do business with Rebacks I cancelled my order and went back to get my refund, I had to pay a 25% return fee on an item I never even picked up. I had a leaking Toto toilet and went to a Home Depot store. I waited for at least twenty minutes after notifying two other employees I needed assistance who said they'd send for someone who never came. Finally someone else told me I needed to take a picture of the inside of my toilet tank. I went home and did but then went to another store location and luckily was immediately told to go to Reback's. At Reback's, after I described my situation, the gentleman just said I needed a gasket and sold me two sizes as he wasn't sure which one I needed and to just return the unused one. This place is a plumbers best friend and worst nightmare. Plumbers love coming here for parts which cannot be found at your local Home Depot or Lowes. The nightmare comes in when the plumbers customers discover this place for themselves! I still love our plumber...:) I love coming here looking for items that are hard to find especially when you don't want to spend the money doing a major overhaul of your bathroom or kitchen sink all because certain brands want you to conform to how bathrooms of today are built. We have a pretty old fashioned kitchen faucet and when it finally came time to change it out we found that Home Depot and Lowes didn't carry those types of faucets. Needless to say we were pretty defeated until we remembered Reback's. This has been a local staple in Gardena since 1950 (I think even the sign is still the same from when it first opened) and as a supporter of local businesses it only made sense to come here.
