Unfortunately I would strongly caution against hiring this company for hardwood floor projects (I can't speak to their work on any other kind of flooring). Several extra issues popped up that we had added charges for, which is somewhat understandable, but in our case they also discovered original hardwood under half the space they were working on and there was never discussion of how that would affect the materials cost and perhaps offset some of the subfloor repair they had to do. At the end of the project, we were pressured into paying before the final finish had a chance to dry and we could actually inspect the work, being told he couldn't buy his son's little league team snacks unless we paid him immediately. They also weren't careful enough to check the thickness of original floors before starting (we had both 1/2 and 3/4" floors in the house) which led to them trying to do a rather awkward looking "blend" that we had to have them redo (they were very reluctant to). If they had been more careful at the beginning and explaining where the height differences were we would have been able to quickly tell them where the transition could best happen, but they weren't careful or observant enough for this. They argued with us extensively before finally trying to implement the solution we asked for, and even then it wasn't done with high quality (as is apparent now). And finally, several months down the road, the wood filler they used on gaps is starting to peel off, leaving us with weird debris popping up through the floor in spots that we're trying to have to address on our own. Not to mention the finish they used scratches very easily, only compounding the issues with wood filler expanding up between plank gaps. Their prices may seem good, but if you're going with hardwood be very careful and ready to watch their work *constantly* if you go with them. Don't be afraid to make sure they've actually thought about and measured/inspected the project before starting. We finished the project definitely feeling like we'd been somewhat taken advantage of and had the outcomes of a half a**ed, rushed, somewhat careless job. Lesson learned! read more

I love this company! I had several different flooring companies come out for estimates, and some of their suggestions of what to do were ridiculous, even to someone not in the flooring business. The prices ranged from very high to suspiciously low. Ruben came out, and right off the bat he was friendly and polite. I needed some carpet on my stairs removed and manufactured wood floors laid. This was the 3rd estimate I had received, and was actually a little higher than the others. I decided to go with them because of Ruben, the owner. He is absolutely awesome and definitely customer focused. His team was out to my house the next morning and worked until about 5 that evening. They were not able to finish in one day but returned the next day to complete the job. They did leave the edges of the stairs unfinished. I am a real estate broker and I was working with a seller that inherited a house in Downey. it was a home built in the mid 50's and actually had a nice open layout but had carpet that was about 2 years old. The carpet was in decent condition and the seller didnt want to spend any money on the home as all of her money was tied up in the inheritance of that property. This was the home that the seller grew up in and she mentioned that it had the original hardwood floors throughout. Since the property wasn't selling at the price she was holding out for, I suggested that we rip out the carpet and restore the flooring but with a modern marketable feel. I called a few places on yelp and spoke to Ruben Camarillo. I gave him the square footage of the area needed to re-surface and he was able to give me an accurate estimate over the phone. When we ripped up the flooring we found a few slats that were obviously damaged and needed to be replaced, but Ruben was excessive with his charge for replacing those. It took his crew 3 days to rip out the carpet, sand, stain a few times (we went with a dark walnut color), and seal the flooring. THE FLOORING LOOKED AMAZING. I even suggested raising the price of the home $10,000 when we re-listed it. The feedback we got was tremendous and we ended up selling it for $14,000 above the appraised value with the buyer paying the difference. Ruben was accurate with his quote, professional with adhering to his time frames, and meticulous with his service. I whole-heartedly recommend using him.
