I had my whole house (two floors) done by this group before without difficulties, and I had been happy with the results. About three or four years ago, I had to replace carpet in my first floor. A couple of years later I needed the carpet stretched as it became wavy. Never had this happen before but, carpet needed stretching. It was done. Fast-forward two years, to now.. Carpet very wavy in all areas of the first floor, including where it had been previously stretched. I called the company to see about getting consultation with the intent of having my carpet stretched again. I called, left message with polite phone attendant who assured me that someone would call me back. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Called again a month later. Same story. We will call you. Was told the service rep David would call me. Never happened. Called again a month later and it seemed like they were going to come do a consultation. Yay! I was interested in possibly redoing the whole first floor. Was called the next day and told that "we do not service your area anymore. I am sorry. Goodbye". it would've been very nice to know at the beginning that they *no longer serviced my area**, especially as I provided my address, my invoice number and date of previous repair to the attendant on my first phone call to this company. **I am very unhappy and would not recommend this company as their service reps are not interested in helping repeat customers.**

That also included demolition and minor repairs. Due to my work schedule, she was really flexible with my installation dates. I decided to make it easier for the installers and moved everything out of the house and into storage so that they can work efficiently without obstacles. The two installers arrived on time and began the demolition and minor repairs. Velia also suggested various options for the repairs needed based on her experience and expertise. Once the demolition and repairs were made, the installers began installing the luxury vinyl planks at such a mind-boggling pace. By lunch time, they were determined to finish the project in one day. They called for reinforcements and two more installers arrived. With four installers, they completed the entire project by late afternoon. I was thoroughly impressed by their efficiency, professionalism and expertise. Having an 80+ year old house, not every room has a level floor any longer. After a few days, I noticed some of the planks lifting and/or not settling correctly. I called Velia and immediately she contacted her installers. We scheduled a return visit for the installers for an inspection and necessary repair. They arrived and took care of the issues. We love our new floors! It's like a new house for us! They don't have prices posted on their items so I had to keep asking. Their recurring customers didn't have to bother with questions, they just came in and ordered. Their prices for flooring and molding are better than Home Depot. For that I recommend this business. They don't have a good selection of tile and what they do have Home Depot has better prices. I purchased the vinyl flooring, less expensive and thicker material than Home Depot. The base molding and door casings are less expensive here as well. I didn't purchase crown molding, but they sell it also. They also have free samples you can take home for any of their materials.

Like paint you can think something will look good and you'll never know until it's installed. I am glad I trusted James's instinct. His two staff floor installers were also some of the best I've seen. Prior to James I had a carpet installer at another place and the carpet ended up having rolls in it 1-2 years later. AND.. I also had a kitchen remodel where the flooring people allowed water to seep in and the floor was damaged a year later (but it was too late by then and I could not get it replaced). These are OTHER experiences I am comparing to so you understand HOW GOOD JAMES IS. To-date, the carpet on my stair well is still flawless (this is now years later).
