Could name all combos of sauces for a bite and the turn out is always delicious. Needless to say portion of ingredients is always proper. Service was great as usual as it moved fast from cashier to cooks and food was ready in about 5 mins. Ambiance is always good here busy or slow. Considering I went on a Monday afternoon with steady traffic still a good environment to be at with the aroma of good food, sounds of hustle and bustle in the background but overall peace with company as I enjoyed and ate my burrito. Will come back. Variety of food in their menu worth checking out!

If not nearby they do announce the customers name over a speaker especially if one grabbed a table on the other side of the produce area. They served up tacos, burritos, plates and other Mexican specialties and prices were reasonable for what you get. We got two plates which came with rice, guacamole/sour cream/salsa and refried beans along with choice of corn or flour tortillas. Carnitas was lean and tasty. Al pastor plate seemed to have a slightly different seasoning than the other Mexican restaurants closer to us. It was still a good and filling. One thing to note was that the parking lot was shared with the American Legion next door so if they hold an event then the lot gets packed. Luckily we didn't have to wait too long for one spot to open u

There is indoor and outdoor seating, making it comfortable for your dining needs. I highly recommend the quesadilla with birria and a pomegranate marg. My favorite flavor is Jamaica. There are 10 or so different margarita flavors to choose from. The prices are competitive. The food portions are generous making it budget friendly for a night out. The staff are nice. Order at counter and wait with a number placard that you return to cashier when order number is called. The food is cooked to order, did not wait long for it. See website for details and more.

Enjoyed the creamy salsa on it as well as the cabbage and pico de gallo adding a nice crunch and freshness to it. The quesabirria tacos had great flavor as well, though they were a bit too oily for my tatse. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the tortillas weren't my favorite. They tasted like the store bought ones from the grocery store which i'm not a huge fan of. For dessert, we tried the churro donuts and they were definitely worth it. Perfectly crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and paired really well with the caramel sauce. Sweet, but that's exactly what you want from a treat like that. They also offer a good selection of drinks. I went with the guava lemonade and it was a 10/10. Refreshing and flavorful. There is some seating area indoors and more outdoors which is nice, but I do with they had heaters for the outside seating when it gets cold.

The decor is a blast from the past and looks like it did inside when I first stated coming here, so they haven't done much to the place but to me that gives this spot that old school charm. I personally love the old time decor and owls all around the restaurant. I find their booths to be cozy and comfortable. The menu is also pretty large with all of the classic dishes. The staff have always been nice when I've come in. They are attentive, friendly and the food is whipped up quickly. Happy hour menu seems to bring in the crowds but I do think there are other places with a happy hour menu that gives you more bang for your buck than here. The food is average in many ways but very comforting. Probably I'd rate all of the different dishes I've tried between 3.5-4 stars depending what you get. I really love their albondigas soup and that's one of my favs. Never steers me wrong. Also their crunchy shell tacos aren't bad. I came for a beef taco with rice and beans and was pleasantly surprised. This isn't Michelin star food people - just classic no frills Mexican food that seems to have kept them operating all this time, impressive if you ask me. My last pro tip is the margaritas are stellar. Huge fan of their mango marg and I'd come back for this alone. Just at $15 that's a little hefty for a hole in the wall spot like this. Same with the food. Two margs and two simple smaller main plates ran us $70 after tax and tip. Seems like it's hard to get a good deal nowadays but for keeping these local gems open, I'll always do my best to support.
