He was extremely polite, answered my questions, and helped me without an issue. I came in again this past week to trade in my old device and finish setting up my new device. Sadly, Micole wasn't in that day, and someone else named Yareli helped me. Unfortunately, Yareli wasn't polite or helpful. I'm not sure if employees at Verizon work on some sort of commission, but it was pretty clear that Yareli only wanted to help if I paid for it. I've been a Verizon customer for over 15 years, and I have never been treated that way. I had just bought a whole new iPhone and she quickly shut down as soon as I said I wasn't interested in paying $29.99 for her to set up my device. I was already halfway through setting it up but had encountered a roadblock because something was wrong with the settings of my Verizon account (a Verizon rep needed to change it for me, and I wasn't able to do this myself). Yareli was short with me and ended up completely walking away after a few minutes once I said I just had a few questions and didn't need her to set up the whole device. Mind you, I still had a few questions that she didn't answer. My sister had come in with me and also had the same issue. When we finished setting up our devices and were ready to completely wipe and trade in the old ones, Yareli took my sister's phone and marked on her iPad that it was in "very bad condition". This was because the screen protector had a crack...we told Yareli that it was just the protector and took it off in front of her to show that the screen was intact, and she rolled her eyes. She then marked on her iPad that it was in "good condition", which changed the trade-in value from $100 to $1000. Given the huge difference that change made in the value of the trade-in, Yareli should have been extra cautious and should have inquired about the cracks instead of making an assumption. Nevertheless, it was really obvious it was just the screen protector, so truly it just seemed like Yareli wanted to pull something on us. I totally understand that everyone has a bad day once in a while, but Yareli made it seem like we were asking her to bring us a piece of the moon, when in reality we were asking her questions well within the realm of her job description. Her behavior was embarrassing and unacceptable in a client-facing role.

Extremely kind, helpful, and quick! If you need Verizon help definitely go here!…read more Would recommend

Wife and I were in serious need of new phones, still having our iPhone 7s from years ago. They are…read morequality work horses, but was time to retire them and get new ones. Wife did the research and found an unbelievable deal with Verizon. It just so happened we were in Austin that weekend for the holiday, and since the store is just a quarter mile down from us, we figured why not check it out. It was Saturday around 5pm. The place was packed. Parking is difficult, considering the size and location, but there is a parking garage just on the other side. I dropped the wife off to get in line, and was about to enter the garage, and then she called me, and said someone had left the Verizon parking lot, and the Retail Specialist, Anisa, helped hold the spot. Talk about the first positive customer experience. So, Anisa was very nice, and asked us a few questions. Wife discussed with her what we were planning to do. We had a couple iPhones with another carrier, and she had an old Samsung Galaxy with a different carrier. We were looking to trade in and trade up as much as possible. After that, Anisa did an amazing job of showing all the options for plans as well as newest phones, discounts with plans, and the trade in discounts. I must say, I was absolutely amazed at the deals, and considering I already have an iPhone 12 5G with Verizon from work, I know the quality of the cellular service, and why I was happy we were here instead of the other carriers. There were so many deals and so many options, the wife and I had so many questions, especially since they had great deals on watches and tablets. My wife always wanted a watch, and let's just say my old iPad v2 isn't working much anymore. She was excited to finally get a watch and me the new iPad. So, onto the phones. After review of all the values, and the wife and I talking back and forth, and getting nowhere, I notice Anisa listening patiently. I looked at her and asked what she thought. She asked my wife a number of questions about her phones, the Galaxy and the iPhone, and how she used them. She did the same with me. She then recommended options. We went with the latest and greatest iPhone 15 Pro Max, a standard iPhone 15, an iPhone 14, an Apple Watch, and an Apple iPad v9. Once it was all done and decided, Anisa worked her magic and provided the pricing, which was fantastic, especially the discounts they were able to do. The deal was absolutely unbelievable compared to what we were paying for just the three old phones. The set up was a little challenging, to say the least, since I had to contact our previous carriers to transfer the phones. One was easy since it was a larger established one, but one, a smaller low budget monthly service provider, made it so difficult, as has always been the case with their customer service. I had to call multiple times, and still had issues. Anisa was so patient, and even took over and called our service provide while multi tasking with Verizon on the other line. It was finally all transferred, then phones and other items came. It was 7pm and the store was closing but Anisa was focused on not rushing and making sure we walked out happy and satisfied. Some of the other staff had to wait as well, but all were patient and understanding. The best part of this deal was not the $$$$$ savings, but the outstanding customer service. We had to return the follow Monday to iron out some items, and return our old Phones. Unfortunately, Anisa was off for the day, but she still answered my text and connected us with the manager. Gold star service for first time customers... amazing. Elizabeth, the manager, helped us and answered all my wife's questions. She was very patient and helpful. She set up our trade in phones, to make it easy to drop off at UPS, set up my wife's watch, and my iPad, and answered all our billings items. As I've said before, and as many of you know that follow me know, it is not just about the deals, or quality of meals or products, but the service. These days it is hard to find good service, which for me is most important. Anisa, Elizabeth, and the entire Verizon staff were all top notch customer service. I will be back for future needs, and won't feel anxiety like with past carriers when having to deal with horrible service. I now can walk into a Verizon store feeling happy, knowing I will be treated like their best customer, as they do with all their customers. Recommend Verizon for anyone looking to switch from another carrier. Now when someone asks me about my phone, and am happy to start with, "It's my Verizon!"

My chief complaint is that it is very unclear where you should go upon arriving to the store. The staff seems to be well trained, but also a little bit too lackadaisical. I understand that Apple goes for a chill vibe, but this was an unorganized mess. After somebody checked me in, they told me my laptop was ready for pick up. When I went to the pick up area, I was processed the same as I was at the check-in -- the only other thing I had to do was to show identification. Additionally, I was asked if I had any trade-in devices, but I told them I was being shipped a box to ship back to the Apple headquarters and they were OK with that. I was told to wait while another colleague would bring out my MacBook and once he did, there was no bag to go with it so a different worker fetched me a bag. The weirdest part was that I had to bag my own laptop........lol? It was super congested for being about 3 o'clock on a Wednesday and I truly did not know why there were so many people just hanging out. Surrounding stores were kind of sketchy and I truly did not feel safe walking out with my new Apple product. The only kudos I have here are that one of the supervisors approached me and told me they liked my T-shirt and gave me a fist bump, which was nice. Other than that, I do not know why this Apple Store operates the way it does, and I believe that customers who are not truly customers (aka just people who are sitting down using their phones) should not be allowed to occupy space in this establishment. I guess Apple has now entered the affordable laptop space with the MacBook Neo. Of course this will come with a whole new set of complications, users, and troubleshooting. I'm here for the ride... I guess I don't have any choice!

I interacted with two Apple team members before I connected with the Apple technician. Expectations were adequately set that they normally do not work on third party solutions. Apparently, this takes about 30 minutes, so I decided to wait until I got home. My phone is currently being updated. Will find out tomorrow if that jumping around issue has been solved. I am cautiously optimistic. Will listen to my playlist tomorrow...too tired tonight.
