Toast Cafe and Kitchen - 4.2/5 I stopped in and ordered the steak and eggs along with the steak sandwich. The space itself has a cozy, welcoming feel and a cool vibe that makes it a nice spot to sit and enjoy a meal. Service was friendly and the food came out in good time. The steak sandwich was flavorful and satisfying, definitely the highlight of the meal. The steak and eggs were cooked well and tasted good, but the portion size felt on the smaller side compared to the price point. Overall, though, the quality was solid and everything was prepared nicely. This is a great little spot if you're looking for a comfortable atmosphere with good food, but I'd love to see slightly larger portions on certain dishes to match the value.

Pancakes were surprisingly a bit dry but fluffy and accompanied by the best maple syrup I've ever had had - included hints of fruit and butter if I am not mistaken. Definitely a must try!
We had brunch here this past Saturday after moving our daughter into her Hoboken apartment. Service was good, food was served quickly. We ordered a chicken sandwich, an egg croissant, a burger & a tuna sandwich. Everyone was very satisfied & we'd stop in again next time we're in town.
I'll start off by saying I don't like breakfast food BUT this place rocks! I had a custom egg burrito and it was really good. The burrito had really slimy and fluffy eggs along with tomatoes and cheddar cheese. The home fries were some of the best I've ever had with a good seasoning and onions. If I'm back in town from Florida I will come back !
This is the Hoboken GOAT. Prices are good for what you are getting and where you are getting it. Get a seat and have a nice time. I've been 4 times and its always been great. Food (5/5) Service (5/5) Ambiance (5/5)
Came here by chance, needed a quick bite and I love me a nice cafe. The service was great, the young workers were very kind and helpful. I ordered the TBLT (Turkey BLT) and I was shocked by the size. It was enough for 1, but even so, good for 2 people. It was well made, make sure you say yes to some sauce (ketchup or hot sauce) it adds great flavor. Their sandwiches come with either chips or fries, (chipotle mayo included). Just enough food for a VERY reasonable price point. Would come again, they have cute decor, and overall good quality food.
The restaurant I wanted was closed but I stumbled upon this one that was open & appeared popular so committed. I feel as if the eggs weren't fresh eggs. The taste was oddly bland if they were. My omelets at home taste better - not worth paying for here. The hostess/server was very pleasant and attentive. I had a call so she made sure not to interrupt me until noticing I was finished a half hour later. There were outlets at the window where I sat which was helpful for my virtual call. I personally won't return but go, enjoy.

Busy place with families and friends enjoying breakfast/lunch. The menu had all the basics that you would expect from a small spot, but the tosti sandwich caught my eye. Very satisfying, but my only complaint would be that the bread was soggy at the bottom.
The food was so TASTY I actually crave the steak and eggs from here. The staff so super friendly and they were very on top of things and as quick and they could be, except when we were paying with cash? Idk pay with card instead. But we would definitely come here again and again
Food (5/5): Ordered the Salmon Benedict with home fries and the Tumeric Tuna Sandwich. Both dishes were amazing! I particularly liked the Tumeric Tina Sandwich because it had an interesting twist on tuna sandwich with Tumeric and fruit like apples in it. Service (4/5): They seated us quickly and efficiently outside and checked to take our order although someone in our party wasn't ready so they came back in a bit later. The food took around 10 minutes to come out. They checked up on us only once outside of when taking was enough. The servers were pleasant and friendly. Ambiance (5/5): Chill ambiance with a good amount of seating indoor and outdoor. When we came they said that inside was full although there were some tables open albeit for a slightly larger party. I liked the umbrellas that covered us in shade.

What we ordered: Chicken & Waffles: 4.5/5 Delicious chicken, the two sauces they gave compliment it really well! Just know that the waffle is not original flavor (if you're expecting that). The waffle Grilled chicken sandwich: 5/5 I could eat this every week! The chicken was tender, the cowboys bread they used was perfect, and the sauce was delicious! I recommend pairing it with the green aioli that comes with the chicken and waffles!! So good! Also highly recommend adding avocado to it as well! Tosti Burger: 3/5 This burger's flavor and everything was delicious...only issue was the bread was SOGGGY!!! when I lifted my burger each time, all the ingredients from the center fell apart and made it really messy. The bun also deteriorated as well...despite all of that, I STILL would order this again, however ask for it to be replaced with the grilled chicken sandwich buns. Matcha Latte: 4/5 Delicious, just on a sweeter side. Service: 5/5 Staff were all really nice, and they were very accommodating! Ambiance: 5/5 Really cute vibe with some plants, nice outdoor seating, and spacious. Would however just recommend adding a better roof for outside seating for poor weather. Overall, if you're thinking about stopping by, just do it! You won't be disappointed, and

Came to Tostis on a weekday for lunch .. Nice outdoor seating option and you can get your dog too- they have a nice setup there.. Between 10th /11th on Washington. Our waitress was pretty courteous and patient.. We order an iced mocha , kale salad with salmon , Caesar salad with chicken and the spicy chicken burger The salads were well made but the usual The burger was really good and dressing used was really good The fries were perfect for the burger and the special sauce was really good. It was actually a tingy taste for the spicy sauce.

I really liked the variety of options for their brunch menu. We went with the French toast and turmeric tuna sandwich. Both really delicious and good portion sizes. Service was good and I loved the comfy atmosphere. read more
Stopped by Tosti to grab a bite to eat and get some work done. I was expecting some decent food and a drink, what I was not expecting was to have one of the best steak sandwiches and the absolute best french Claire's I've ever had in my life. The fries were super crispy and packed with flavor (I would go back again just for these french fries). The matcha latte I got was also super tasty. The steak sandwich was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. If you're looking for a nice little cafe with delicious food, you've got to try Tosti! read more

I had a brunch date with my son at this cafe. I tried Chicken Sandwich and Portobello Bruschetta with Latte. The Portobello Bruschetta is a must try at this place. Chicken sandwich and latte were good too. The staff were courteous too. Would definitely visit this place again. I just wish the cafe had ramp accessibility as it was a bit difficult to take my baby in and out the cafe with the stroller. read more

We were in Hoboken looking for a breakfast spot. Most of the restaurants in Hoboken are expensive and this one was reasonable in comparison. They had some outdoor seating so we found a spot. The servers were really kind and considerate. They gave our dog some water without us even having to ask. I ordered a smoothie; it was called yellow smoothie. It had mango, pineapple and banana. I also ordered the farmers plate. The smoothie was really weird, it tasted like it also had veggies. It had a bitter after taste which I thought was unusual considering the ingredients. The farmers plate came with 2 biscuits, an egg, 2 pieces of bacon, gravy and jam. I don't think any of these items went well with each other. The egg, bacon, gravy, and jam were good on their own. The biscuits had a weird texture and they didn't taste fresh. I think if the biscuits were better and there was no jam, I would have given this place 4 stars. read more
This was my second time returning to Tosti's - their signature breakfast sandwich is one of my favorite's in Hoboken! The portion size is great (read: the salmon toast was so much bigger than expected, and the eggs are so fluffy!). There is quite a bit of seating inside, and despite always being packed, I have never had to wait long for a table. read more
I regret not writing my server's name down, but she was so sweet and welcoming. Absolutely great. Additionally, the exterior and interior of the restaurant as well as the menu were very cute. I was really looking forward to my meal. Despite looking delicious, the bulgogi rolls were inedible. It's not that they tasted bad, but more so that the meat that was served in it was a mush of what seemed to be very old meat, which was very unfortunate. The presentation was great and I am not sure what the food tastes like normally but I had an awful experience with the food. The spicy chicken burger seemed to be made the way it should be, but the bun felt like it had been frozen and defrosted. The sauce the chicken was in was quite yummy, but then again the chicken breading was so rock-hard I was led to believe the chicken was fried and left on a cold counter for a few hours before being served. I hope that this establishment is able to improve the freshness of its ingredients, which I believe will dramatically increase its success. read more
Great spot for brunch, everything was delicious. If you're planning to go on a Sunday, be patient, it gets crowded. The food was delicious! The coffee YUM!! And the staff were very nice and welcoming for a hectic Sunday morning. A lot of respect for them. Ordered in because of the cold weather and this meal hit the spot. I got the BLT Toast and my husband got pancakes and scrambled eggs. We also threw in a baby cake cause we didn't know what it was. The BLT was great and I really enjoyed the basil mayo. I'd seen review complaints of the bacon and don't understand where they came from. It tasted like normal, good bacon. My husband said his meal was very good and reminded him of a classic diner breakfast. The baby cake was...weird? It cost $2 and just was a petit four cake I think. I don't know what I was expecting, maybe a king cake because we are close to mardi gras? It tasted good but definitely wouldn't order this again. I've gone in person to grab coffees and bubble teas and have always enjoyed my experience. I think there are a lot of harsh reviews about this place that are undeserved (i.e. people complaining that they could buy a dozen eggs and cook them themselves for the same price as ordering eggs here? That's literally how restaurants work though.) Overall, it's worth giving this place a chance and trying for yourself! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. read more

Well, we wanted to try the food this time. Ordered delivery. We ordered the French Toast, 2 eggs any style (scrambled), smoked bacon, and salmon lunch bowl. My boyfriend said the bacon had zero flavor. There wasn't much there for $6.50. So ridiculous. It was also very crunchy and he didn't like that. Threw it away. The scrambled eggs he said were okay. 7/10. They were fluffy. But it's a small portion for $6. Can buy a whole dozen for that price. PASS. The French toast looked good in the pics on here. It's not great. The bread is very thin, unfortunately. We like the thick bread. The fruit was fresh and the maple syrup was good. Is this worth $15? No, no, no. Not for bread and some fruit. The salmon bowl was supposed to come with spinach. There was a little bit. I thought it would have a lot more. The salmon was small and cooked right. It was cold though. And smothered in the mango salsa. The salsa was good. Rice and quinoa made up a majority of the bowl. Is this worth 24? NO. Also pass. We will not be reordering. Quality does not match prices for us. Better options around Hoboken. read more

Tosti is a little strange (at least in my opinion) but nice spot for brunch. It's a very plain restaurant (no frills) and it doesn't have that "Hoboken vibe". It's overpriced, but I have to admit, the food is pretty darn good. I got a smoothie & kale Caesar salad with chicken for brunch. It cost nearly $40 and I wasn't super full (yikes), but the quality was excellent. The kale Caesar was so fresh - high quality chicken, a light Lemon vinaigrette and very fresh ingredients. Overall, a nice spot for brunch. I recommend if you're looking for something casual and don't mind a bit of a wait/pricey bill. read more

Tosti is always a solid choice for breakfast/brunch/lunch. The fried chicken burger was my favorite. The pancakes were also delicious. Don't sleep on the banana nut bread. The croque monsieur got the job done as well. They had great service and it was a pleasant dining experience. I would come back again. 4 stars. read more
Love this spot - came here early on a Saturday when it opened with my nephew and was very kid friendly. The pancakes may have been my favorite ever they were amazing. Prosciutto toast was ok not nearly as good as the pancakes. read more
We thought the food was great here! We came here for lunch and enjoyed everything we had. We were able to seat right away but came for lunch on a Tuesday. We had walked by on the weekend and it looked very busy. The prices do seem a bit high. read more

Cute outdoor seating away from the sidewalk which is convenient. Perfect for a sunny Sunday morning meal. Quick service with a great vegetarian burger and fluffy pancakes. The Tofu scramble could have had more seasoning and flavor. Delicious hot drinks and overall a nice vibe if you're looking to brunch in a picnic setting! read more

I went to Tosti for dinner and got the Deep Fried Oysters for my appetizer and the Bulgogi Burrito for my main dish. The oysters were quite small and not that meaty. I don't think they're really worth $8. The Bulgogi Burrito had a really tasty flavor. Even the rice in the burritos was flavorful. However, the amount of meat in the burrito was small. I got the burritos with fries, which were a bit plain. The burritos were $14, which is a pretty good deal. For dessert, I tried the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake and the Peach Pie (both homemade). The Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake had a very strong peanut butter flavor, but was tasty. The peach pie was also good. They were both $5 per slice, which is a bit pricey. The service speed was a little slow. That being said, our waiter was super friendly, helpful, and attentive. The café is nicely decorated with a chill vibe. Overall, Tosti is a very nice and affordable spot for a lunch or casual dinner in Hoboken to come with a couple friends. read more

For the third time we went for lunch and had really good food. Service is excellent, friendly and quick. Menu has great choices: eggs, salads, sandwiches. Today I had a TBLT (a BLT with sliced turkey), on multigrain toast, with chipotle mayo, which was delicious. Brandin had pancakes, which he loved. Laura thought her burger was perfectly cooked. My iced coffee was superb. All around great meal. Highly recommended. read more
