I just had the most delicious mint cold brew here (I believe it's a limited time Frankie's bikini collaboration drink) it was so refreshing during a hot summer day. Service was great really friendly and welcoming. Ambience is laid-back, you can order to go or sit and eat. Will definitely be back to try more menu items. read more

Understaffed too busy and they treat the Delivery Pick Up drivers like they're absolute parasites. It won't make a contact with them have them standing there. I watched for almost 20 minutes before I stepped in and said could you please help them get food and they said we prefer to help the people that are sitting in here first they could've looked over and said it's not ready, but you know what I have no respect for any company. I can just turn off their ordering system rather than treat these people that are just doing a job like pure crap I will never come back here ever again. Honestly, to top it off their Parmesan chicken sandwich just came in wet and sloppy anyways, and that was for forgivable, but to treat people poorly is not read more

I usually get the Mediterranean salad here with blackened chicken and I am disgusted by what I just received. I ordered via door dash and as soon as I opened my salad there was a strong stench of chicken that has gone bad. This is not usually the chicken that is in the salad. This chicken was rubbery and grey. I had to throw the entire salad away. I'm not sure what is happening but I will never dine here again. read more

We went for weekend brunch here and were delighted with the experience. We ordered Avocado Smash, Egg Croissant, Golden Latte and Cafe Latte. On my quest to explore coffee shops in Hoboken. Yesterday's journey was to Bluestone Lane and it was my first time visiting. Didn't know they were an Australian company, I sticked to my usual iced cold brew and added the protein lard coconut creamer they advertised. The place was not busy at all which I'd expect for a Wednesdays afternoon. The water was super friendly and answered all my questions it being my first time. read more

I had initially been to Bluestone Lane when the Hoboken location had first opened. I had found their white walls and bright, sunny atmosphere to be really uplifting. I had also been glad to see that they had a reasonable amount of seating; Hoboken has no shortage of coffeeshops, but few of them have comfortable seating options. At that first visit, I had ordered a Golden Latte, which I had enjoyed, but found very overpriced for a small takeout cup. So, I had not rushed back there for a while. However, I recently met a friend for coffee and found my giant, dine-in mug of cappuccino with almond milk reasonable at its ~$6.50 cost. My drink was creamy, rich, and delicious. I was also thrilled that we were able to get a table on a Saturday afternoon, though we both found the service inconsistent, as it went from overbearing to avoidant. However, it was still friendly and not something that would prevent me from returning. Overall, Bluestone Lane's cozy cafe atmosphere and tasty beverages made it a great place to grab a brew. I also need to try some of their food items, especially their avocado toast, which I have heard is fantastic. read more

We had a delightful late afternoon lunch here on a recent weekday, and left feeling happy and healthy. On entering, we found ourselves in bright and airy spot that felt both modern and inviting. The service was friendly to match. I ordered two sides, scrambled eggs and roasted carrots, while my husband ordered the green goddess bowl. We enjoyed everything, but the green goddess bowl was the clear highlight. Its multiple components combined with each other perfectly, and everything was very fresh. My eggs were good, and the carrots were delicious. My only nitpick was that I would have liked the carrots roasted a little longer to get more caramelized and tender. Nevertheless, this is a great choice for a healthy breakfast or lunch that is more creative than your typical cafe. read more

If I could do no stars I would I have been here 2 other times and had good experiences so idk if it was just a one-off or if things have changed since I'd last been here, but I was extremely unhappy with my experience. I was with a group of 6 and the restaurant was crowded so we expected to wait a little bit, but we were pleasantly surprised when we were seated right away. We put in coffee orders and asked if we could order food as well since we were hungry but they told us the kitchen was swamped and we couldnt put in the group food order yet. They then proceeded to take the order of every table that got there after us, so by the time we ordered it had been nearly 30 minutes. The food took a very long time to come out which is fine but it was frustrating when we had to wait so long to even place the order to begin with. I ordered a wrap with no avocado and it came out with avocado, so I had to send it back. At this point I was starving and we had been sitting for at least an hour. The wrap was remade and I watched a different server take it and argue that her table needed the wrap before me, so I was once again waiting for my wrap. Everyone had finished their food and I was still waiting for another 10-15 minutes. It eventually came and I just took it to go. The server comped my wrap and gave me a pastry and was trying to joke around to lighten the mood (and I understand it was really not his fault that the service in the kitchen was slow) but it was just overall a negative experience and it felt poorly handled by the staff. read more

Food (4/5): Overpriced especially for the relatively small portions but it was quite good. I got the BL burrito and it was a good and well made fresh burrito. The salad was also fresh and delicious. Ambiance (4/5): Chill coffee shop environment with spacious seating. The place was well lit and overall solid. Service (5/5): Very friendly and patient server. The server patiently waited while we figured out the very glitchy Bluestone Lane app. The app has a free drink promo but it kept saying the location we were at was closed even though it was clearly not. However, the server helped us find a compromise and was very nice and patient the whole time. read more

Bluestone Lane is always a favorite of mine for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. I'm a huge fan of the gluten free avocado toast with the poached egg add-on. The gluten free bread is excellent. The coffee and tea beverage options are also delicious. The service is quick, and the staff is very friendly and hospitable. The atmosphere is very cute, chic, and trendy. I'm certainly far from the only one who loves this place, as it's often crowded! But that just goes to show how excellent Bluestone Lane is. read more

The cutest, quaintest little (but actually not so little, I KNOW) coffee & food spot. I've had take out from here a while ago and was quickly a fan, but this was my first time eating in. After getting caught in Hoboken rain and needing to kill some time, I stopped in for lunch on my own and now I can't wait to come back. The waiters were wonderful, the coffee was hot and the food was incredible. I got a cup of hot black coffee which came in a little carafe so I could just keep refilling my own cup. I got the small and didn't even finish half. And for lunch I got the lemon chicken bowl. Sooooo this had to be one of my favorite meals in awhile. It was butter soft chicken on top of farrow, roasted carrots & other veggies, feta and a very tasty dressing. I took about half home but finished it that same day. I hung out for awhile, partly just relaxing and scrolling on my phone and partly praying the rain would stop for just a bit. But it was a great little break. Definitely recommend if you're in Hoboken and want to get a bit or just coffee with friends, a date or just by yourself. read more

I came here with my family of 5. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere stood out--bright, vibrant, and filled with lots of natural light. It's definitely a nice space to sit and enjoy a coffee. That said, the food itself was underwhelming. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich, which came with just a thin slice of chicken, untoasted sour dough bread, and a side of Ruffles chips. At $17, it felt overpriced for what it was. The rest of my family also felt their dishes were average, and it took quite a while for our meals to arrive. Overall, I'd come back for coffee and the atmosphere, but probably not for a full meal. read more

Been here once for coffee and once for brunch, and we had good experiences both of times! Food was delicious, although a tiny bit bland. Athlete's Wrap was good and would eat it with the hot sauce. What a lovely day for brunch and we're glad we checked out Bluestone Lane in Hoboken. We arrived at around 11:45am on a sunday and I was a little surprised we were seated right away. I actually expected some wait but I guess we were lucky. Anyway, ordering was also convenient coz you scan the QR code, select your order online and pay as you order as well. Then the staff just brings your food out to you. We got the chimichurri eggs and it was delicious! I highly recommend this one. Egg had nice flavor and the sauce complimented it very well. It comes with cripsy bacon and toast so quite filling too. I also tried their Banana Bread with ricotta and fresh fruits. Okay it may be on the sweeter side considering it was the first meal for the day for me but hey it was still good. Lol riccotta with that maple syrup was yum! For drinks - The coffee was nicely done with beautiful latte art. Also my first time trying out their beet latte and it was surprisingly good. Glad we gave this place visit! read more

I used to love this place however things have changed, the last two times I've been here I have had far from good experiences. The phone use by the staff is totally unacceptable, I was amazed at the amount of tables that hadn't been cleared, while the staff fiddel on their phones, server was rude again, he definitely needs some people skills training, coffee is ok not very strong, plenty of other places to go, my advice is don't go there it's dirty, rude staff and complicated to order your told to read the menu via the QR code then order with the server does not work for me read more

It was our first time at Bluestone Lane, and we were pleasantly surprised by the great quality of food! It's a nice, airy ambiance with blue and white decor perfect for a sunny weekend brunch. The service is quite efficient, especially if you skip ordering with the waiter and just use their app to place & pay for the order after being seated. The Avocado smash was a good-sized multi grain toast with Avocado, feta cheese, and cherry tomatoes. We added spicy vegan plant chicken to it, which was nicely seasoned and chewy. The banana bread was moist and newly baked with fresh berries, honey, and a dollop of ricotta cheese. Loved the overall experience and will definitely revisit to try their other options! read more

For the price you really get something amazing and the quantity as well as quality is what makes this little spot worth it!

Delicious and healthy great brunch options in Hoboken. I ordered the vegetarian big brekkie which was delicious and had multiple textures and flavors. Really enjoyed the Halloumi, the greens were well seasoned, and the egg was cooked perfectly. They don't have this option at all locations so it was nice to try it at this bluestone lane. Service was attentive, frequently checking in. The place is charming and has both indoor and some outdoor seating. It gets quite loud and they only have a single bathroom. Docking one star because it is pricey and a chain but relatively standard for the NYC area. read more

I hate potentially damaging a business' reputation over something that can easily be fixed but Bluestone Lane's phone number goes straight to voicemail with a message that says "all inquiries are handled online". I went online to make a complaint and I didn't see any options available. I ordered a breakfast bowl with chopped up kale and it was virtually uneatable. It's not hard to wash kale. There were visible pieces of dirt on one side and when you look underneath the kale leaves, tons of small little bugs, eggs, debris, etc. You charge a premium price for your food, there's no reason to serve unwashed kale. People notice. Your food is otherwise good, please change this! read more

Bluestone Lane effectively calms the hangry, indecisive delivery app user - you don't have to think too hard and the items are quick and well-packaged. If you can't decide between a healthy vegetable or a meatier one (add "why not both" meme here) the Big Brekkie works just fine. You get avocado and tomatoes, but a lot of bacon too. Spilled delivery beverages are a thing these days, so I applaud both the careful presentation of the flat white as well as the drink itself. read more

Firstly, I don't understand a place where, upon ordering via a personal device, the tip must help included before the meal is even served, but I gave a 20% tip anyway, which then seemed more like backsheesh. The first item to arrive was a cold, hard chocolate croissant. It certainly wasn't a "freshly baked" item as described on the menu. I asked the man who served it to me if it was supposed to be warm, and he said, "No, it came from the pastry case, not the kitchen." I took a few bites, pulled out the unmelted chocolate, and waited for my Green Eggs skillet. And I waited... I played with the croissant and decided to do a photo shoot. About 30 minutes later, as I saw other patrons getting their hot meals, I finally inquired as to where my dish was. Ten minutes later I got it, and it was delicious! The hard, chewy piece of whole grain sliced bread accompanying it wasn't worth risking dental work, however, so I just had the green eggs. That I did enjoy. Fried eggs with spinach, mushrooms and chimichurri. As I readied to go, a floor man (not sure what to call the employees as they only delivered food), swung by and quickly asked, "How's everything? Good?", asking the table next to me the same in the same breath. I didn't bother to answer the rhetorical question. If it had been an an actual question, I'd have voiced my concerns, but I just left. read more

Bluestone Lane has become almost as ubiquitous as Starbucks. Their coffees, dishes, & streamlined decor sure are pretty. The Avocado Smash is a slice of multigrain toast topped with equal parts heirloom tomatoes, feta, & avo. The bread is tasty but I wish it were softer & fluffier instead stead of overly toasted. On one occasion, I ordered red baked eggs (similar to shakshouka) but the waitress erroneously brought out green baked eggs & the wait to fix my order was interminable. My experiences with their food and service haven't been satisfactory, & their tables are way too close together for my liking (pre- and especially during Covid times.) read more

The waitress told us that we could get drinks for half price if we gave them a good Google review, BEFORE THE FOOD CAME, so not sure how valid the reviews are. The grilled mushrooms and cheese sandwich was not hot. Hardly warm. Changed for avocado toast which was just ok. BBQ sauce for brisket sandwich was horrible. Kitchen slow and waited a long time for the food. Not going back. This was the Larchmont, NY location. read more

I'm going to start off by saying that I have continuously contacted the company and they have not reached out to discuss the problems for such a horrible experience. I've never seen such poor customer service from a restaurants corporate office. Obviously, the customer is not important to Bluestone Lane and they do not care about the issues in their Hoboken location. I had the BL Burrito with a side of bacon and my partner had an Athletes Burrito. Both were flavorless and missing so many ingredients. My partners burrito was missing her avocado and feta. It also was so flavorless that she found it unappetizing. I don't blame her. My burrito was also lackluster in flavor. I've had better breakfast burritos from Taco Bell than Bluestone Lane. That's a sad thing to realize. My burrito was missing feta and all around happiness. The bacon tasted like a no-frills bacon and was undercooked and unexciting. How does bacon become such a displeasure to someone? Bacon is supposed to give someone that "joy" when eating it. Not a feeling of depression. I basically felt like I was eating some eggs in a flour tortilla. Mine also lacked enough avocado to even feel like it existed within my burrito. We were told that they only had two cooks working in the kitchen. This doesn't excuse the lack of flavor, the size of the burrito, and the missing items in the burrito. For the price you pay for these burritos, it's not even worth the trip to Bluestone Lane. I did complain to the manager and was given the two meals for free. But the waste of our time and sadness doesn't compare to the free food we received, because of their incompetency as a restaurant. The server was very polite and helpful and we appreciated his help in overcoming this disaster of a lunch. I would defiantly avoid this place if you're looking for flavor in your food. You won't find it at Bluestone Lane. You'll only find regret here. read more

This is my first time trying their Brunch after drinking their coffee for long time. There a lot of seats outside that look nice and also very cute inside. The decor and decorative plant inside is beautiful. Clean and cozy. We have to scan QR code, order and pay from our phone. Coffee is not bad. We had three dishes for two people, Avocado smash, B.L.A.T.E and warm chicken salad. Everything is good, fresh and healthy. Our favorite is Chicken salad. Staff seems friendly and nice. But service is slow even if the restaurant is slow, we never get what we asked for, so I had to walk to the staff and get it. Didn't come to check on us and never fill our water.
