Looking for a coffee spot around Hoboken, this place popped up on my Yelp app. It was a yes for me immediately when I saw the gorgeous latte artwork. We were greeted warmly by whom I assume is the owner. Since I love pistachio, it was a no brainer for me. As one of my companions is trying to decide, I mumbled under my breath..."the Rose latte is really beautiful." He sighs and says to the barista...okay, I'll have the Rose latte, I'll let her have her picture. I tell the barista that I want it in one of those pretty cup and saucers. I was giddy as a little girl when I got the lattes. Soooo eye-pleasingly beautiful. Most of the Rose latte pics on Yelp has the leaf in white, mine was PINK. I am not a fan of any drinks that taste like a rose. Curious I did take a sip and I was wowed. The rose flavor was very subtle in a wonderful way with the perfect balance of the coffee. I loved my pistachio but decided to switch the rose latte with my companion. It was the best rose lattes I have ever had. They also have homemade treats. Their pistachio baklava is PERFECTION, not too overly sweet. I could eat a dozen of these in one sitting. Limited indoor seating with only 2 tables outside. read more

Still a fan! They put a lot of effort into their lattes. We've been on a pistachio latte kick and have been testing them at different coffee spots and cafe vista makes a solid pistachio latte... they even put real pistachios in the latte art! read more

I wanted to try the rose latte but after seeing it was $8, I opted to just get a regular iced coffee w/ half and half. When I was placing my order with the barista, I said "iced coffee with a splash of half and half". What I got was way more than a splash... :( I didn't say anything though. I tried the coffee and it was good, so I just drank it as is. It was over $5 for the small iced coffee. I think it was on the pricey side so that's why I'm giving 4 stars. The coffee itself was good, but nothing amazing. I don't think I will be returning anytime soon. They also seemed short staffed (there was only 1 person working). Ambience was cute though. The design was cute and simple and good for instagram photos. Decent amount of seating. Location was OK, not on the main strip. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in here the other day to try their rose latte. We thought it looked beautiful. We each got one and tried the spinach and cheese croissant and the chocolate bread. Everything was delicious!!! The rose latte it $8, which is pricey so we won't get it often. It's very pleasing to look at. Smells delicious like roses. Comes with a cute little macaron. Regular latte is okay. They have almond milk which is always a plus!! The chocolate bread was soft and fresh. Not overly sweet. We would order it again. We wouldn't get the spinach and cheese one again since it was mushy. Flavor was nice however. We will definitely return! read more

What a nice little place to have a lovely vintage like brunch. The second we walked in, this place put us in a wonderful mood. The vintage design is so nice, feels peaceful and makes you feel fancy. The ladies who took our order were great, so welcoming and they were very nice to explain the menu to us. We ordered a rose latte, Turkish coffee, avocado hummus toast and avocado pepper toast with a side of baklava and blueberry muffin. My hummus avocado toast was delicious, so tasty, the rose latte omg AMAZING! The presentation was so beautiful I felt bad drinking the latte. The blueberry muffin was soft and tasted like pound cake, I couldn't get enough of it. My latte came with a piece of macaroon, perfect combination to be honest. It's nice to find a place that is not crowded, staff make you feel at home and the food is just exactly as you expect it. Definitely returning here!! read more

A cute cafe with Instagram worthy drinks. The drinks selection definitely takes the cake with a wide variety and great aesthetics. The food is also quite snackish with a variety of baked goods. Service isn't very friendly, but its adequate and efficient. The interior isn't as cute as I expected, from their instagram and photos. I ordered a matcha latte and a salmon avocado toast. The toast was very good, lots of avocado, good amount of salmon and a little bit of saltiness from capers. The matcha latte was disappointing--very frothy and they used culinary grade instead of ceremonial grade matcha, so the latte had a khaki green color instead of the nice bright green. Everything seems to be a little on the cheap end too, though cute. The cup was metallic and the tables are plastic-y and wobble if you try to cut your toast on them. read more

This is a small cafe in Hoboken that's woman owned, minority owned and one that started in the middle of an ongoing pandemic so kudos to Balsayat (the owner) for making it work! The décor is charming, the cups beautiful and take you back to a Parisian café in a heartbeat. Café Vista is now my go-to for my daily dose of cappuccino and the delicious avocado toast. They also have a very beautiful rose latte that's a pink treat in a cup! Everything is beautiful and thoughtfully done with a touch of grace. Found this gem after one of my photoshoots in Hoboken. The owner, Balsayat was the sweetest! So kind, friendly & welcoming. The overall aesthetic is sooo charming. I love the old record player and the artwork on the walls. I loved the choice of China and use of Mackenzie Child items as well! New to Hoboken and on the search for the best cafe to do work! Got the pistachio latte -- fun to try something new since I'd never had one before. Was pretty good, but likely will try something new should I come here again. I had originally wanted to try the rose latte, but the barista/cashier said that it was really sweet and they can't adjust it. Cafe ambiance otherwise is good. Nice throwback playlist (not too loud), good WiFi, clean bathroom. Chairs could be a little more comfy, but still ok! read more

I am never one to post reviews but I had such an unpleasant experience here. I walked in a few minutes after the store opened and waited several minutes for the worker to come out of the back closet. when she did come out, she looked at me and completely ignored my existence. I moved up towards the counter to ask for a latte and before I could even finish my sentence, she interrupts me and goes "you're going to need to hold on for 5-10 minutes. I'm not ready to make your order" I replied "yeah I'm not gonna be able to wait since I have to get to work", and she goes "yeah you should leave then". This is literally the worst experience I've ever had with a barista and you would think that they would keep the doors LOCKED if they were not ready to take my order. You need to have your workers arrive earlier then 7:30, they show up late in general (because I have tried to go in the morning and it's pitch dark inside and closed) whoever I spoke to definitely does not want to work at your store with that 'tude of hers. Listen, I get having bad days and dealing with tough customers but I was quite literally the first customer of her day and I can't imagine how she treats the last. Do better read more

As soon as I walked in, this place put a huge smile on my face! The decor is gorgeous and airy ...and the women behind the counter greeted me with smiles. Ordered a cold brew with oat milk which was around $4. The coffee is pretty strong - which is great - and I ordered the baklava. So yummy! When I come back I might try the Turkish coffee. A low key coffee shop on Monroe closer to 6th. Their matcha lattes and regular lattes are some of the best I have ever had. All of the baristas are incredibly friendly. I have yet to try any food, but I am sure it is good. They serve Turkish coffee which I really enjoy. Although it is not on the main strip in hoboken, I recommend taking the walk over, you won't be disappointed! read more

BARISTA REFUSED SERVICE!!! Came here on a Thursday early morning to try their rose latte. The inside was sparse at most, with only 5 customers inside. The barista was totally ignorant of me when I was waiting at the front of the line. No eye exchange, no greeting, nothing . When I asked her what kind of pastry it was in the bakery at the counter in front of me, she rolled her eyes and said it's everything croissant. I still wanted to try the rose latte, so I proceeded with order it. Then she rolled her eyes again, saying "sorry, I can't do it." I was very puzzled and asked why. She said "too busy, can't do it." and then looked away. WTF? This is a cafe that is (1) famous for its rose latte, (2) not busy at all at the time I was there, and (3) I asked for sitting in the cafe instead of grabbing it to go, which should give the barista enough time to make the latte. You are not making rose petals in house!! Most of the ingredients are ready to go!! People in cafe started to look at my direction. I feel embarrassed, and then decided to leave. This is an EXTREMELY unpleasant experience. A cafe shop at a non-busy time refused to serve a signature drink to a customer, WTF???? I don't want to bring the fact that I'm a minority onto the table, even though I was the only non-white people at the cafe at that time. But at minimum baseline this is an extremely unpleasant & unprofessional experience!!! DO NOT recommend and WOULD NOT come back!!! Yikes! read more

She is rude and kept giving an attitude, the vibe of the cafe was unwelcoming. Would never come back here. Got the rose latte assuming it had espresso in it and was surprised that it didn't. $8 for just rose syrup and milk was a bit confusing. avocado toast was okay but also very overpriced. Ended up ordering a regular latte after that which was good. Best part about this place was the aesthetic. The entire place was very pretty and decorated wellgood for instagram pictures if that's what you're looking for. The aesthetics in here is unbelievable! You forget you are in a city when you're here. I came here and sat down for coffee with avocado toast for breakfast. I felt so relaxed and welcomed by the friendly staff. The Turkish coffee was so good and I love that they have dairy free options for milk. Went to this cafe really wanting to find another 'regular' spot in my neighborhood but unfortunately it missed the mark for me. I ordered the Rose Latte and the Avocado toast with Roasted Red Peppers and my friend ordered a coffee with the Spinach Kale Pie. My Rose Latte, while it looked absolutely gorgeous, was really just a mug of steamed milk with a rose flavor. Not sure what I was expecting, but it didn't hit the spot at all. The Avocado toast was just ok and the Spinach pie which I shared with my friend was soggy as if it had been warmed up in a microwave and had lost all its crispness and texture.
