Went for a quick luncheon and explored this place on steeles, good location , close to all the Milton warehouses n Walmart . Lunch specials were good , I opted for Penang curry meal which comes with a bowl of chicken Penang curry , steamed rice , spring roll and a Thai soup . A whole some meal for $10 plus the flavours were authentic of Thai herbs and a Thai green tea was served as a digestive . Perfect !

thai iced tea ($3) - not on the menu, but available

This place serves up some big Asian flavors. Note, I say Asian because they serve more than Thai food; the menu also contain dishes from Vietnam, Singapore, and China as well. The food tastes fresh and made with care, and the portions are very generous. I went with a group of 6 friends after hiking at Rattlesnake Point. We shared one order of shrimp fresh rolls and each ordered a main. The shrimp rolls in itself is not the most exciting, but the curry peanut sauce was very fragrant and I haven't seen elsewhere. I was starving after the hike and was craving something calorie packed and unhealthy, and as soon as I saw the chilli chicken chow mien on the menu, I knew that was it. The real thing looks pretty much identical to the picture on the menu, a huge plate of soft yet chewy thin egg noodles with fried chicken pieces, generously slathered in a sweet and savory chilli sauce. It was a messy kind of delicious and I loved it. For its price point, I couldn't have asked for more. I also tried a bit of what my friends ordered, which included goat curry, laksa, and Vietnamese noodle salad, and all were delicious (and a lot healthier than the yummy monstrosity I ordered). The slight disappointment was with the thai iced tea, it felt a little watered down, and perhaps is made from mix? Overall, a cozy and clean family style restaurant, serving affordable and delectable Asian food, that I would stop by again next time I'm in Milton.

I have tried 3 items. Both Pho and ribs are average. Spring rolls are above average. Inside the soup: there is not too many variety by comparing to other pho's. There is only one size. The soup is not very hot. I personally prefer hot. Ribs: the ribs is thinner by comparing to Korean restaurant. I do like the bean sprout at the bottom. If you like ribs, check out this one: 1170 Burnhamthorpe Road W Mississauga, ON L5C 4E6 The only thing that stands out is the shrimp roll. It does indeed taste good. It's a good choice for local restaurant If you can drive for like 20 mins, check this one out , it's amazing: 1090 Kamato Road Mississauga, ON L4W 2P3 Overall 3.5 out of 5.

I dropped in tonight by chance, noticing it was open and my friend and I were hungry. Thai food is a favorite because i am vegan and all Thai places have vegan/vegetarian options. We ordered the fresh spring rolls and when I asked for the veggie ones the waiter was amazing in immediately letting me know that the peanut sauce they come with has seafood paste in it and subbed it for another dipping sauce- this is information that most places don't offer unless you specifically ask and I'm super thankful for it. Pad Thai was underwhelming flavour wise but was pretty decent. Sauce was kind of tomate paste like- in retrospect should have asked for spicy. Tofu was good! Portion sizes were large, especially for price! Service was quick and to the point- came out in minutes. Fresh spring rolls in literally 3! My friend ordered the sweet and sour chicken with jasmine rice and thought it was really good- again giant portions. So worth the price. Over all, would return again when in the area/ at the cineplex across the way.

Came here for lunch and enjoyed the food here. They have this dry coconut curry rub that's different and delicious. Also their naan bread is so good. The people are also nice and friendly. If you're in Milton, check this place out :)

We came when the lunch time rush was over around 2 p.m. They do offer a great lunch menu special with 6 different meals to choose from, that comes with Tom yum soup, a spring roll, and drink for less than $10. I really wanted to try the shrimp Pad Thai. I should have listened to my fellow Yelpers, as this dish was ok. It came within minutes of ordering and I had asked for level 3 spicy, which was very spicy. It was saucy but had more of a tomato paste flavour. It was fresh and hot, which I liked. The owner is super cute and awesome. She'll often come to your table to see if everything is ok and that you're enjoying your meal. I'll definitely come back, as there were so many options on their menu that I would love to try. In addition to the fact that my friends enjoyed their red curry and coconut rice so much, that they've always come back.

I kind of really hesitated on whether to give this place 2 or 3 stars, but I'll go with 3. My leftovers were still okay a day later, so I'll give them that. I was in the area so I decided to give this place a try. It was very quiet on a Saturday evening. Just me and 3 other groups. Although a lot of people were coming in ordering take-out. I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken but had to make sure that no shrimp paste is used in the recipe. I'm allergic to shellfish and I know a lot of places tend to use shrimp paste in their pad thai. The lady taking my order did confirm they use shrimp paste but they could alter the recipe to not include it. My food came out in lightening speed. Like I swear it must have been 3 minutes after my order was taken. It's like they had it ready before I even placed my order. WHICH is impossible, because they had to alter the recipe lol. Anyways, I wasn't too crazy about it. It was really saucy and tasted more ketchup-y. Maybe the original recipe would have tasted different. You get a LOT of food. I had to take the rest to go and it filled up a whole take out box. Like I mentioned earlier it held up pretty well a day later. The saucy-ness came through in this case, as the noodles didn't dry out. They also give you quite a bit of chicken and tofu, so that's also a plus.

For over a month I had been missing the thai favorite in Pittsburgh. Now that we are here for good, it made sense to "move on". So, a quick search and we landed here. Pretty neat decor. They had the recipe for Pad Thai written on a huge chalk board. We were greeted immediately and seated. We decided to play safe and ordered Spicy basil fried chicken rice, Malay Fish and Hot & Sour soup. Soup was sweet which I preferred to be not. As for the rest, loved it! Our fish was fresh in thick yellow sauce with broccoli, beans and some wontons. The Chicken and Shrimp basil fried rice was spot on! Quantities were huge as well. Both of us were unable to finish off more than half of each dish. You can expect a sumptuous meal and charming host at Toss Thai. The owner had her own meal right next to our table. She took time to speak to us and gather feedback. Next time we're in Milton, we'll be back for sure! I saved 'one star' for now. Hope I'm encouraged to give it out after our next visit.

We planned to get some dinner in Milton today and we were craving some Thai. Of course, using my handy Yelp app, I saw Toss Thai which had pretty good reviews. We decided to check it out and see what's great about it. The place seemed pretty new rather than a lot of the older looking restaurants around Milton. Service wasn't very good. My girlfriend asked a few questions about the menu and one man seemed as if he didn't understand what we were asking. We wanted to know what the name of the dish in a picture was. Maybe he was new, but at least we went to get help. The lady who helped him answered our question but seemed to have no patience when explaining. However, with this bad experience, there was one older lady who took our dishes away at the end who was so sweet with her smile and took our plates away as soon as we finished. As for the food, I ordered kalbi and a naan. The portion was pretty big, but it was too saucy compared to other places I've been to. The naan was pretty good and done differently from others I've had before. Not sure if it was intended to be, but the naan was also pretty greasy. I ended up paying around $20 for the who items...I think the kalbi should have been more around $11-13 when I compare to other locations, but I ended up paying $16. The naan was $2. I wish it came together, because it actually almost made me feel like not getting a side as there was an additional cost on top of my entrée. Overall, service wasn't good, food was average and cost was sort of pricey. 3 stars at best. Try it out if you're around. Maybe my visit was just an unlucky one.

For example, the black cod is usually feel heavy with the miso based sauce, but they added some acidity to the sauce and they made the black cod taste rich and light (not to mention the black cod was perfectly cooked); traditionally the Brussels Sprouts would be finished by tossing balsamic vinegar over it. Sometimes that would still feel heavy. Instead, they tossed it with strawberry vinaigrette. So the acidity is very light and not too sweet. We finished our meal with the Yokai Signature Maki. Yes, they SHOULD be proud of this Maki enough to put their name on it. They hit it on the nail with the taste profile. I have a zero tolerance with spiciness, so they put the spicy mayo on the side, and I encouraged my wife to dip the Maki with it. She confirmed my suspicion that the spicy mayo took the maki to another level. We definitely will come to try other dishes. Edit: they comped us a slice of Matcha Cheesecake. While it is still not my cup of tea, but I was very impressed with how good it taste. My "dislike" is with cheesecakes because they feel heavy. Though it is still on the heavy side for me, but as soon as I spoon in a bit of the strawberry sauce, it just lightened up the whole thing. They have successfully amazed me with how well they play with taste.

I love that you can customize each dish by adding the add-ons (additional ingredients). You can even "build your own teppanyaki set" by choosing the carbs, sauce, protein(s), and add-ons (including vegetables). We only tried the teppanyaki rice sets this time around. The Sizzling Japanese-Style Assorted Vegetables consisted of cabbage, green pepper, zucchini, mushrooms, and corn. This was listed under "snacks" category, and we thought it would be a good veggie dish accompaniment to the other main dishes. I found it to be very salty and saucy. It had an aftertaste that I didn't really like. The pieces of green pepper, zucchini, and mushrooms were very small, that you could barely taste them. It was mostly white cabbage shreds and corn. The 3 teppanyaki rice sets (including one deluxe set) were good. The Jumbo Unagi Teppanyaki Rice was one of my favourites - the unagi there was "jumbo" indeed (biggest and longest I had ever seen that was served with a rice set in a restaurant). I liked that it wasn't doused with too much unagi sauce wich tends to be sweet and sticky. There was a good amount of meat in the unagi as well. Salmon & Shrimps Teppanyaki Rice Set and Seafood Rice Set (salmon, scallops, shrimps) were also decent. The Seafood Rice Set (considered a deluxe menu item) had a bigger and better salmon compared to the thin salmon slices in the Salmon & Shrimps Teppanyaki Rice Set. The shrimps and scallops were pretty good (there were more shrimps than scallops). All dishes came with corn and green onion, and you can choose to add extra add-ons such as cabbage, green pepper, zucchini, mushrooms, garlic bits, extra protein, etc. As garlic lovers, we added extra garlic bits to every teppanyaki set that we ordered. Overall, good food and fast service. I wish the Sizzling Japanese-Style Assorted Vegetables dish wasn't so salty, and came with more / bigger pieces of the actual vegetables rather than just mostly corn. But the other teppanyaki rice sets were good value.

The shrimp dumpling, pork dumpling and sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf were really good. They didn't have miso soup but the tom yum soup was weird with a beefy msg soup taste to it. The general tso chicken and sweet & sour chicken lacked sauce and flavor. Also, there was too much batter. The braised beef was good flavor and would good with rice noodles. The fried coconut shrimp and sweet potato fries were delicious. The vegetable dishes were pretty bad because some may not like that they were quite crunchy and the carrots had a bad taste. The server told us it was Japanese cheesecake but it wasn't. It was still pretty good though. Said they had cappuccino and when asked we were told it was espresso. The seaweed salad was strange. didn't have the flavor like most and was padded with the additional pieces of lettuce.wth.. The food was a hit and miss. Some were good and some not so good. Not the best food in my humble opinion. Sashimi sushi is very limited in choices and were sold by the piece not included in the AYCE. The ordering system was by talking to the server and a menu they had provided and was held in a menu cover that originally was for the Pickle Barrel restaurant. Wtf, how ridiculous is that. The server was decent but sure seemed like she could improve a little in some aspects of the entire interaction times with her. Beautifully decorated place but it felt very dark and the overhead lights were off for 90% of th time we were there. They finally turned them on though The music was a bit loud and made it hard to have a conversation with others. The tables are for 2 and placed together to make it table for 4. The dishes were kinda big so took up a lot of space. In conclusion, it was an okay place and food experience . The food felt like it was prepared by not fully trained chefs but the walls were very pretty images but music was loud. i would go back if invited but only have some of their food dishes that were good.

The serving area, the tables, and even the bathrooms are pristine. The food quality and variety is great. They offer all the normal stuff you see at a Chinese buffet plus extras like Maple flavored meatballs and wings. The sushi section is a little smaller than others but gets the job done. The desert section is incredible and you will want seconds. Try the maple ice cream! We went here twice in the short week we were in town, and I were a local this spot would be on my regular rotation for sure.

Was provided a hot lemon infused cloth to clean up prior to going up to the stations to eat. Cup never emptied without an ask for refill. Very attentive the entire time. We were sat in the 'C' dining area area. There were room upon room so there's plenty of seating. Each room with a slightly different theme. Ours had a wall of beautiful fish tanks. The dining area, food stations and bathrooms were all very clean, which is so important at a buffet. They even have gloves at the end of each station in case you didn't want to touch the serving utensils with your bare hands. The variety of food goes from everything you can imagine at a Chinese buffet like sushi and fried rice to American options like burgers and fries, to surprises in-between like New England clam chowder and prime rib. Tons of dessert- hard ice cream, cakes, pies, fruit, jello, even Crème brûlée and waffles. One of my favorite surprises was the variety of mocktails. Most places offer me pop as a mocktail or a Shirley Temple at best. Decent pricing. Father's Day special dinner menu was $50/pp (Canadian) about $36/pp (American) which is pretty great for all you get and that's WITH their high tax. I believe the refular pricing is about $10/pp less. A must try only 30 minutes from Western NY.
