Going into the Tory Burch store makes me feel so nostalgic, after a girls trip to Palm Springs my friends and I went to the outlets to have some retail therapy. My friend Cheryl really wanted to go to Tory Burch to get a pair of sneakers and I was there with her. The store is really well organized and so clean, our associate was Miranda. She was really personable and helpful and found the shoes my friend had been wanting, seriously the sneakers she got were around $100 which is a great deal. I was in the market looking for new sandals. The sales lady was circling the area but never actually delivered any customer service. I asked for my size, just for the sales person the drop the box of shoes in a corner and abort the shoe section. After walking around the store with the shoes in my hand, I head to the register. Staff is so rude there's an older blonde lady who accused me of being in the wrong store just because I was in workout clothes and wanted to shop. I always shop at Tory and I wanted to see what new items they had. I literally walked out with her saying "looks like you had the wrong store" when I walked out because of her rudeness and horrid looks she shot my way. Made a purchase with Sue and she was great. Changed my mind two days later and the employee who processed my return was offensive. She scrutinized the shoes I was returning and I'd never even opened the boxes. So the packaging, etc was in that perfect presentation they do. She told me about final sales not being returnable before she even checked my receipts and saw neither of my purchases had been "final sale". By this point, I was patiently annoyed and my body language must have shown that. The cashier started explaining all these unnecessary details. She ultimately processed my returns and refunds to my credit card. The experience was so off putting that I won't shop that location again. Worst experience ever! I've never felt discriminated while shopping. I got asked more than 5 times if I am doing ok even after 2 employees have helped me shop. The older white lady stared at my sisters and I head to toe even from across the store. It made us very uncomfortable while we were shopping and felt unwelcomed. As a Mexican group of females looking and asking for products to be brought out to us by the first employee which was new helped us then another employee (Nathaly) took over and was such a sweetheart and very polite. She attended to all our wants; however, there was a white old lady constantly staring us down and asking us if we were doing okay and if we needed anything every 5 seconds looking at us as if we were going to steal something. She still had the audacity to talk to us rude. How do you have an employee that's racist in a store that a big chunk of minorities shop at. I came in yesterday and I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed with the customer service. I've been to this store multiple times, usually in my scrubs because it's right down the street from my old job but I was in the area today. Today I dressed comfortable, no makeup or anything. I walked in the store, no greeting. Multiple employees passed by me, nothing. The nice Indian man was the only one that sincerely greeted me. Another lady literally looked me up and down before saying something to me. She became more interested one she saw I was already wearing a Tory Burch crossbody. Decided not to spend any money since I didn't feel welcome. I'm saying all this to say, there were other customers in the store that received better customer service. My mom like a bag and she held 2 bags the hold time because she wasn't sure which one she should get , the staff said there was a guy wants this bag and asked my mom want to buy or not . My mom made decision to buy the bag and I heard the staff said : sorry sir , this is the last bag in store . Right after 10' later , me and my mom ready to pay and the cashier said there was another customer look for this bag before us . BULLSHIT . Manager here is absolutely ridiculous. Workers are also rude and impolite. My mom and I went to Tory Burch and bought three bags. When asked to put the bags in individual shopping bags, they said they can only put it in one bag due to shortage of shopping bags. What does that have to do with me getting the shopping bags? Clearly the manager's fault for not being prepared. they said one bag per customer but my mom and I count as two customers. When I told them that, they kept saying "we can't give additional bags. They're not gift bags" treating like we were asking for some sort of special treatment. Absolute BS and manager should be trained more properly. read more

I am a frequent shopper for Tory Burch. The customer service is terrible here. One of the store manager,Brenda, needs some customer service training. Tory Burch consider a luxury brand and being a store manager with attitude. I think they need to increase their customer service trainings. Cute stuff! In my price range! Bustling, busy outlet shop with tons of helpful workers trying to find my size shoe- 7 of course. I appreciate their willingness to be patient as lots of the cute styles didn't have my size! But wow they really do help and make someone feel welcome. Finally I found a nice pair of shoes and clutch. After I paid for my purchases, the lady who rang me up came around the counter and handed me my bag. Nice touch! I was so excited that a Tory Burch finally opened up at the Carlsbad Outlets! I wish they have one at Las Americas. I came here to buy Christmas gifts. The deals were pretty good! 40-60% off items! I forgot her name but the girl behind the jewelry counter was very nice and helpful. She gave great recommendations on my purchases. They even sell jewelry and perfume! The worst experience ever! Last Friday, I believe was 11/11, I went to Carlsbad Tory Burch Store with my mom, and tried to shop a birthday gift for my little sister. Store was very busy and we were totally understand since it is near Christmas season. But we met the worst sale person ever, I think her name was May? Or something, at least sound like May. First all we can't barely understand her, specially my mom, when we asked her for size 7 sandal, she asked us to wait, we are patiently waited for over 10 mins, then we saw a person brought multiple shoe box from behind, we asked her is there one of us is ours, she ignore, and saying something which we totally don't understand at all, btw, her voice is so loud and unpleasant, and looks alike her knowledge of the vocabulary was very limited, and the word just jumped out her month one by one, in extremely high volume, near like screaming! We finally understood she want us wait again, my mom couldn't stand at her it, and asked me to find another sales person, and then I found another lady to help us, Elena? I think it is her name, although store is so busy, overwhelming, we totally understand, but Elena was calm and patiently go back and forth and finally find our shoes. Then we found out that Asian sale lady was fighting with another sale person on the back, we don't know why, it sounds alike she want to have the shoes buyer already picked, then she said something like she was charged the shoes area, and she want the credit or something, she was so harsh and rude to everyone, even to her coworkers! man it was hard to ignore, and all the buyers were looking at them yelling at each other, oh my gosh, my mom almost had her high pressure, we were kind of running out from store after purchase. It took my mom a while to finally calm down in the car. I am the tory Burch fan, I shopped often in the tory burch store in desert hill, it was first time we shopped here since we just recently moved here, man, worst experience ever, just because of her, we'd rather driving one hour back to our old store! I bought 5 items today and all were placed in one bag, when I asked for an extra bag since it was a gift, they refused to give extra bag regardless of buying 5 items, and the answer was we simply don't give out extra bags, only one bag per customer! What a selection! You can find amazing deals on holidays which is typically means deeper discounts. This place can be extremely busy during those times and or peak hours. The staff here are what keep this place going. They're so helpful and accomodating. Always updating you as to pricing, making recommendations or checking in to see if you have the right size. Stopped at this location on the way up to LA for a birthday party. Lucky me their 4th of July sale carried over and just about everything in the store was 40% off! The customer service is excellent, they were conversational and very attentive. Special shout out to a Eugene, he was so welcoming and so nice! Seriously when you walk in you are greeted and asked if they can help you. If not they go on about what they're doing with no pressure. Along with that the lady went to the back to get me a new purse instead of the floor. Everyone is professional and kind and the atmosphere was great. A few days after my visit I called them and a lady by Porsha answered. Omgosh she completely cares and will do what she can to help you. With that said I highly recommend this outlet. I've been to many being the Vegas one, the Ontario mills which is horrible and cabazon which gave me wrong information. This is a little drive for me but definitely worth it! This entire store was 50% off yesterday and I was a happy camper. Jewelry, purses, wallets, perfume, belts, scarves, EVERYTHING was 50% off. So I was super excited when I heard Tory Burch was coming to the Carlsbad Premium Outlets as it is close to my house. However, I have been in this store about three times and the customer service has been subpar each time. I'm not a super demanding person - just stop forgetting I asked for shoes or a purse and I wait PATIENTLY for over 10 minutes and then have to come find the associate or ask a new one. I won't be back- I'll go to Cabazon instead or retail store ~Maybe I'll just stop buying completely read more

This is a fairly new location that opened about four months ago. They do have a selection but not as big as the one in Palm Springs. Prices are in the higher range and the customer service was ok. They do make you feel a little uncomfortable because it feels like their breathing on your neck while you shop. You do not need an appointment to stop by here. read more

Great location and of course love the brand. However, there is a SNUB factor that is very evident as soon as you walk into the store from the SALES GIRLS. EEK. One blonde girl was friendly out of all the times I have been there. The rest of the times I have gone, it is so ODD. They help and answer questions, but you do feel like you are annoying them. My friend and I thought it was odd and a bit funny. The heavyset girl with brunette long hair running the register was annoying. Yes, they will give you service but it is like pulling teeth. They need to be reminded that they are NOT the designer TORY BURCH. They also need to remember they are hourly sales staff that gets to keep their job because customers spend their hard earned money at the store. TAKE NOTE FROM NORDSTROMS and ZAPPOS.
