I had a fantastic experience at this Jo Malone store today! The staff, especially Elizabeth, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, helping me narrow down couple of options to find my signature scent. Today specially they had a person engraving and painting perfumes bottles (customized) and mine were so pretty. Elizabeth did the small bottle and caps (thank you so much for all the details), she also gave me some sample for me and my hubby so we can try new scents. The store is clean, organized, and they have an impressive selection of fragrances, candles and other things. Highly recommend this store!! :) read more

Love Jo Malone products even tho the perfumes don't last on me. But what I love about this location is Alan. He helped me during my last visit and he is the best! Everyone here is friendly but Alan is superb..he's helpful, friendly, has a sense of humor and will give you honest feedback about the products while also introducing you to items you may not have tried. Maria or Marie is super rude . She called me about an order issue and instead of giving me the opportunity to call back she Cancelled my order . I find this to be very lackluster especially when it come to Jo Malone . This stuff is so expensive the least you could do is have good staff .. Very dissatisfied and disappointed in the experience at Jo Malone retail . It does not compare to the quality of the products and that is an issue .. I came back a few days later with my fiance and she was there again and did an amazing job helping us find the perfect scent and we got a couple freebies. Went in with the intent to purchase a Wild Bluebell but when I asked the male worker about similar scents to it, he was pretentious and condescending in his response and interaction. Such a shame bc he was very helpful during my last visit to the store. I definitely did not make a purchase and idk if it's bc of his lack of customer service but the wild bluebell didn't smell as great as it did before. Unlike literally every single other retailer in UTC, these saleswomen seem to actively NOT want you to shop here. Every time I've walked into this Jo Malone, the saleswomen have either been extremely standoffish or just straight up cold-- I've been completely ignored almost 4 times, and given strange looks the other two. I look and smell presentable, I don't have any children who run and shout and are nuisances, I don't spray haphazardly and I certainly don't touch things without intending to ask a question about the scent. I just walk in and bam, the sales associates just choose to service the other older clients instead or to answer all my questions about the scents I'm interested in with short, curt replies. I shop at other retailers in UTC with no issues at all. I'll go and buy my Jo Malone at Nordstrom's and Sephora and get points that I can actually use towards shopping at a retailer that doesn't actively spurn my patronage. read more

Kim, Chris, and all of the other staff at Jo Malone are absolutely wonderful. I have been in a few times to shop, and they are so patient and creative in suggesting and recommending scents based on my likes and dislikes. I'm greeted by name, which I love. Makes a great deal to shop at a store you feel familiar in. 5 star store design, product, and customer service. The ladies are also all very knowledgeable on the different scent profiles and how each fragrance is made. The individual oils in the store used to single out specific notes I like and dislike are super helpful in understanding my "palate". Always a pleasure popping in, and treating myself. I came with my friend yesterday looking for a cologne. Knowing little about colognes, I wasn't sure what to get. Sheryl was SO NICE. I was impressed with how much she knew. She walked us through all the different scents and helped us both to find something we loved. She definitely went above and beyond in making us feel special and amazing. Visited this Jo Malone location with my sister. They have a great variety of fragrance. You are guaranteed to fall in love with one. We were welcomed by a very friendly lady and a gentleman. They let us browse freely while they engaged us in short talks and friendly conversations. They were not pushy at all unlike most places with similar merchandise. At the end my sister fell in love with a fragrance and bought it. She wasn't even looking to buy a perfume before we walked in. The gentleman (who was extremely good looking) put the perfume in a nice packaging and took the time to tie a bow and make it look very nice. Definitely will be back! read more

I am a huge Jo Malone lover/collector/user and when I saw that there was an actual store that opened I jumped to the opportunity to stop by I've been wanting to test out their limited edition holiday scent. I was very disappointed with the customer service. There were ~4/5 employees and one other customer in the store with me. I had to approach the associate in order to get some help. Additionally, they were very brief with me not showing any interest in my business or helping. Not very approachable at all. Sad to say but I'll getting my Jo Malone elsewhere. I went in to find a perfume and my friend and I were the only ones in the store at the time. The two employees stayed behind the counter the entire time and not once came up to us to ask if we needed help or even say hello. After spraying the perfumes I was deciding between, I walked around the mall to let the scents settle and came back to make my purchase, again with us being the only customers in the store. This time, when I actually picked up the product to purchase, the associate finally talked to me, telling me to "be careful not to spray the product". When I took my perfume of choice and walked to the testers section, she grabbed the perfume out of my hand (guessing she was afraid I was going to break it because she thought I was incapable of holding a 1oz glass bottle). Overall, the experience was off-putting. I really do like the perfume I got and their scents are all breathtaking and a great alternative to all the other perfumes in Sephora that smell like the same thing. The next time I'm at the mall I'm going to grab the other scent I really liked, but I'll probably go to Nordstrom to purchase it because their customer service is much better. read more

It took me a week to think of how to share this. I was so excited to leave my house of 3 running screaming kids. I arrived at Jo Malone and didn't mind waiting outside. It was until the blonde lady from the back came out to assist me. At the door, She asked me if I just wanted to smell around the store or buy something. I knew what I wanted, a gift for my mother in law, Honeysuckle. I myself would like to have asked if they have peonies and tuberose scents. But I didn't mention that. Without further questions she said I'll ring this up, I'm still outside. I felt judged my skin, my purple UGGS maybe my Faded ALLSAINTS sweater. Once the customer who was inside left, the lady with Dark hair helped me. I lost it, I felt so Judged and unappreciated at the door and tears just started rolling. The lady who was now helping was so understanding. She said "please, let me make this right. It wasn't her fault and I still wanted my wants. She flipped it around and added a second scent. Leaving a little more relieved that, I left with my purchase. As a former sales associate I know the value of any customer and I hope you teach your employees the same. read more

The sales associates here have terrible customer service. I'm sure they deal with a fair amount of people who just come by to look but that's no excuse to be so blatantly rude. I have been several times and each time the women working were terrible to deal with. I love Jo Malone products and was super excited for a stand alone store to open up, but it's been a huge disappointment. I will be buying my products from now at Nordstrom's. My daughter and I went into the new Jo Malone store at UTC and were very excited to do so. We were both going to buy our favorite colognes and get a few samples of others. We were the only two people in the store. We were obviously going to make a purchase and were having fun with all the great colognes. There were two females and one male sales person. The women could not be more rude or standoffish. Never came out from behind the counter. Grumpy looks on their faces the whole time. I tried to get a sample of one cologne and they said they don't have it. End of discussion. As we were making our purchase the gentleman finally gave us two samples of what would be similar to the one I was trying to get. We went over to Nordstrom right after and the woman (Marsha) at the Jo Malone area couldn't be nicer to us! Got a few samples and played around with several more. Just having fun like I'd hoped we could have in the other store. Made another purchase that we weren't planning to make just because she was so helpful and enjoyable to spend time with. I will NEVER by any more products from the Jo Malone store in UTC. I love the line but will buy it elsewhere and get the customer service that the brand deserves!!! read more

Me and my wife went to the new John Malone store in UTC. We are very excited to go. As we have other Joe Malone products. We walked in the store there were three employees standing around doing nothing. We all looked hung over and grumpy. We asked a couple questions. They were very offputting. My wife and I went to Nordstrom's. And the Joe Malone counter the lady there was very nice. She gave us samples to let her smell everything it was very helpful. We learned up buying at Nordstrom's. Went to Jo Malone a few months ago with my mother and the blonde sales rep with an accent helped us then, was nice and polite. I went again last week with my two friends, one which was a black male and another who was a white female and the same sales rep became extremely blunt and didn't have the same politeness as before. I don't think there was anything wrong with the way I dressed, I wore prada loafers and had a dior wallet while both my friends were a little more casual with shirts and pants but nothing overly informal, though that shouldn't have mattered anyways. I came in and she didn't greet us, just stood and stared until I started looking like I needed help. She showed me two scents that were similar to what my mom used to have as this was a mother's day gift. Then she rang me up in silence only telling me when to insert my card, handed me my purchase in silence as well not even saying a thank you, have a nice day, etc. If I had a choice I would have gone with the brown haired sales rep as she looked really nice and helpful, however she was busy with another customer. What a fun experience I had today! Kim Cruz was such a delight! I made a special trip in to see the new UTC store after smelling a friends fragrance during a luncheon. I was greeted by Kim, then treated to a hand massage with warm towels with multiple yummy scents. I will definitely be back now that I'm educated in layering all my new swag! I love your Jo Malone products!!! I had ordered mine online. I needed to return my selection because I wanted the larger bottle. Also, I changed it to Jasmine Sambac & Marigold because it is a more intense scent. Julie, at UTC in La Jolla, California, was just wonderful! She is the friendliest and most helpful person there. She gives you samples while some of the others do not. The result is that I will now be buying more products since she has given me some other suggestions, too.
