I've been going through an incredibly difficult time after recently losing both my mom and my sister. We were getting ready to take our first vacation in a very long time, and I was really looking forward to having some time together and creating a few happy memories. While we were shopping, Emily overheard our conversation. The kindness and compassion she showed us touched me so deeply. She and Laura went above and beyond anything I could have ever expected from a salesperson or manager. They generously gifted my son and me a bath bomb to take with us and enjoy on our vacation. It might seem like a small gesture, but to me, it meant so much more than they could ever know. I actually left the store in tears because I was so moved by their kindness. During a time when my heart has been so heavy, Emily and Laura showed us genuine love, compassion, and generosity. They didn't have to do anything for us--they simply chose to be kind. Amazing experience in here today!! We came in to get my sleepy lotion, it's my favorite night time lotion! The staff was amazing, welcomed us right away and even commented on my tattoos! They then showed us there is a tattoo balm bar, and let us try some. We were sold immediately, felt amazing and I loved the smell. For many years, I've been a loyal customer. Often frequenting the Fashion Valley location. Not that I was overdue for spoiling myself- but, it's my love language to gift. This location worked out perfect since my dear friends planned a surprise birthday party at Gen Korean BBQ. And nothing beats SAVING time than finding what you need all within walking distance! I mean, how intoxicating is WALKING by Lush?! I mean, the natural aromas of jasmine, rose, citrus, vanilla-- etc! I somewhat had an idea for the birthday girl. But, I knew I would be going back and forth from shelves, debating and deciding! And, this is one thing- ONLINE shopping can't help you with! You wanna be able to open the lids of containers and smell the scents! Even use the TESTER products on yourself! It's encouraged! I finally honed in and had to get the birthday girl my tried & true Lush product. It's a solid perfume (Lust) that has now evolved into a stick. I was apprehensive at first. But, it make sense! I do have the other Lust solid perfumes in the glass and tin containers! The Watermelon Sugar scrub for the Birthday gal, as well. And she has long luxurious hair- so I was interested in a beautiful scented product that didn't need to be rinsed. An employee was chatting with me for quite some time and we were yapping about our faves and I told her about my loyalty to the Lust product. She noticed I had (forgot the name of the hair mask product). And she showed me Revive. I opened the container and took a long whiff of that beautiful JASMINE scent. Ahhh! This is IT! Made from avocado butter & it's a leave in product you can use on damp or dry hair. I never used any type of product like this myself. And decided to buy one for me, also! I have come to know about Lush Cosmetics through my dear friend whose niece works at one of its locations. I have had the opportunity to try some of their products. Good quality lotion and soap! When I was at Westfield University Town Center in San Diego, I knew I had to come in here and see the products in person. Upon entry, I was greeted right away. Staff was very friendly. What a neat shop! Love the good cause of fighting animal testing. Lots of different kinds of soaps and other bath items for you to choose from. They even have a table of samples you can try. Don't worry. They have a sink ready for you to wash your face and hands. I still have some of their products to use, hence, I didn't buy anything at the time. I really like the seasonal valentines lotion bar that had glitter in it. It smelled so good and I was so sparkly. They don't make it anymore. My skin is very sensitive and most of the time my skin reacts to their lotions. The facial cleansing bars work well for me. The lady who helped me was very informative. I just wish I didn't have such sensitive skin. read more

Went here to buy 3 items last june 28, 2025 (saturday) and when i went to the cashier i ask for a reciept but told me they can only send through e-mail as their system is down. When i checked the reciept in my email it has 7 items in it (did not notice when i was paying because i have 2 children with me) i showed them and asked for a refund, now they can't refund because they said the customer service is offline, they got my name and they said they will notify everyone in store to help and they gave me the number of customer service and told me to call next day, (wondering why i have to call, it's hard for me especially i'm not that good in communicating in english) i called next day many times and it was offline again. Then, I called their customer service hotline today- (Tuesday) and they haven't been notified about the situation and i have to explain which is hard for me to explain since i am not a fluent english speaker, and this customer service representative is making an attitude and not nice. 2nd customer representative called me again and asked if i could get refund at the store?this is so frustrating! I just wanted this 3 ITEMS peacefully and you made it really hard for me to refund which is not my fault, your cashier was not attentive that's why she made it wrong. Who doesn't love LUSH! With an amazing line of fresh products one tends to get carried away in this store quite easily. Yes, their products are not cheap in any way but most of them last a long time and you definitely tend to see the difference. Though I have my favs, I love that they introduce seasonal products as well as limited edition ones around holidays. This location is always very busy but I've always found someone on the staff to check in on me and help with product recommendations. I love that they treat customers to a FREE fresh face mask when returning 5 empty containers w/ the recycle logo! One thing I I wish would be different - the LUSH company policy of not waiving shipping fee for products not available in store. read more

Genevieve(?) was the sweetest lush worker ever! They recommended me a ton of things for my dandruff and general skin dryness issues! Plus they had awesome rainbow hair and cool pins! I had to ask for their name because they were so lovely!! :) I always love going into lush since the customer service is incomparable to other stores but because of COVID restrictions they had to only let in a few people at a time. But because of that the staff all take care and genuinely listen to your needs! Usually around this holiday time lush is packed to the max in their tiny little stores and having a staff help you is so hard because there's so many customers overwhelming them with questions. I never feel pressured into buying things and they always are willing to let you sample a little bit before buying the full sized product! They have a lot of procedures in place to make sure everyone is safe and sanitized at the door so no worries about being uncomfortable in there! Plus if you don't want to wait in line you can scan a barcode on the wall outside of the store and purchase the items through your phone and have them grab it for you! read more

I love Lush! Only 4 stars though because they are so pricey and sometimes stingy on samples. I try to get one sample of something new every time I go to figure out what I might like (most recently ended up buying a full jar of their soothing peppermint foot cream for sore feet). I usually just buy their bath bombs. I love how soft they make my skin feel and of course love seeing the colors in my tub. These are pretty pricey though so I just use half at a time. On one visit I really wanted a golden egg but they only had it in a package set and one of the employee's was kind enough to just sell me the egg! (They said they were demo-ing the rest anyway). Made my day! Coffee Scrub - love this. I use it in the shower because it's so messy! Cleans my face and preps it nicely for cream. Coconut hand scrub - smells nice, made my hands smooth. Love that it melts as you rub it into your hands. Wish it smelled stronger of coconut. Sea Salt scrub - scrubbier than rub rub rub. Left a grimey bar soap feeling on back/hands. Rub rub rub- scrubby but melts too quickly. Sleepy lotion: I love the smell but when I put it on it feels a little grimey and not smooth, like it doesn't rub in well. On the fence on this one. Once upon a time lotion - love the smell, same issue as above though. Xmas only. Snow Fairy Shower Gel - didn't like the smell. Way too strong. Lathers up really well, only a small amount needed. Xmas only. Daddy-o shampoo - super dark purple. Only a small amount needed. Lathers well. Not really sure if it works but I like it. Smell is meh. Bath Bombs: Snowman melt-a little weird. It took a long time to dissolve. Didn't smell like much. Wouldn't get again. Intergalactic- big enough for two uses. Love the blue color, but doesn't leave my skin as smooth as others. Coconut Jelly- $8.95 a little pricey but it was really nice, made the bath green and smelled wonderful. One of my fav's. Jasmine: super nice, loved the smell. Like the Sleepy lotion. Turtle: FYI the bigger turtles are more expensive than listed price. Didn't like this one. Perle de Sel - turns the water a beautiful shimmery blue that leaves you lightly sparkled with soft skin. Xmas only. Little bottle of calm - very small blue bottle. Didn't do much for a full bathtub. Didn't smell like much and didn't do much for my skin. read more

Tiny store filled with lovely products for hair, skin and body. It can be quite addicting as there are so many items worth buying here so I have to make sure I don't get in trouble. The ladies that work here are super sweet and accommodating. I am a huge skincare junkie so I wanted to find something suitable for my more dry skin that wouldn't irritate it either. The gal that helped me recommended a few moisturizers: Skin Drink for evening and either Vanishing Cream or Cosmetic Lad for daytime. I went with Skin Drink and Cosmetic Lad and they've worked beautifully on my face. Now that winter is coming and dry weather will inevitably follow. They immediately had me sold, aside from their great products, because they are cruelty-free and do not test on animals. What's not to love? Fantastic experience overall...thank you Lush! read more

I came here on a whim to look for some bath bombs and I am so glad I did! The store is VERY small, it seems every location is super small and it is something that keeps me from going in. I had the stroller with me on this day so I was super hesitant but there weren't too many people in the store so I decided to try it out. Any time I was around a person there was some moving games played to ensure I can get through but we did eventually. I can deal with this but ever since I had the baby and go everywhere with a stroller I think about people in wheel chairs because a wheel chair cannot be in this store comfortably. A staff member greeted me almost immediately and I told her I wanted bath bombs that were relaxing. She immediately pointed a beautiful butterfly that smelled heavenly of lavender and chamomile. I also got a second bath bomb that was lavender. It had fresh lavender in it so the bath bomb was wrapped up and stays that was while you use it to catch the lavender but some did escape. The price of my 2 bath bombs was just over $14. I think the price was worth it. The bath bombs were large and had a ton of scent to help relax in the bath bomb. The scent also lasted a long time. I was in the bath for over an hour on both occasions and the benefits lasted the entire time and even after I showered, I could still smell the lavender and I feel asleep almost right away and slept great after all this relaxation. If you like baths, coming here for a bath bomb is totally worth it. It will be rare that I am at the mall without the baby so I will most likely be selective when I actually go into the store, but if there is a deal on shipping, I would probably buy some online. read more

I'm one of those people who have to deal with adult acne (yes, even after taking Accutane during my teen years), so after trying several products as a teenager, I discovered Lush in my early 20s and never looked back. Herbalism and Dark Angels are hands down the best cleansers ever for acne prone skin. I've had great skin since then, though now I should worry about aging so maybe Lush has something that's for adult acne and anti-aging. Anyway, I also loved Fresh Farmacy at one point when I was pregnant but I find that it's too delicate to do much for my skin now. Anyway, I used to have to order online in my early 20s or go to SF for Lush products. Then I had to go to the one in Calabasas, until they opened one in Escondido. Now, I'm even more excited because this location opened up! It's right by my work! Now, if they would open up in Temecula, I'd be in heaven! The ladies here are great, very helpful and you get to spend hours playing with products. My husband got me some of the shampoo bars from here. Also tons of fun to use. Lip scrubs? They got them here! Seriously, this is a lot more fun to play with than at Sephora, because you know that it's not animal tested, homemade cosmetics and it's good for your skin, hair, etc. You can't beat that! Alright, so, I waked in here looking for something to help with my acne. Tatum, the only one on the floor at the time, was super nice. She helped me pick out some gel and a spray that has worked MARVELS on my acne. Of course, it's not as potent as any pharmaceutical medication, but it is definitely organic and very healthy. After a few days, I was walking by and saw that they were pretty empty too. Decided to walk in and Tatum remembered me! She helped me find the right conditioner for my hair (which can be compared to the bristles on a welcome mat), and I've been looking my best since!!! I noticed a lot of mixed reviews, but I can one hindered percent say that my experience was amazing with TATUM!!! I've always bought gifts but nothing for myself until a few months ago when I got some black goo body wash and a bubble bath bar in Halloween & they gave me sample of the coalface facial bar. It lasted for a week and my face hasn't been that clear in years. I'm a huge fan now. Take all my money Lush. Between the all natural gentle skin products to recyclables to how the products are made to donations for various charity groups. I know. Tell you something you don't know. Ok. How many times have you heard from a sales rep that they'd continue shopping at their store long after they've left the company? Not many. What that tells me is she not only respects the integrity of the company & product but she really does loves working there. With that said this little lady deserves a raise and some recognition for her incredible sales & human kindness skills. Retail clerks are no longer just selling a product. They are selling a brand all the while having the utmost respect for their customers and themselves by wearing masks, providing hand sanitizer, allowing the minimum amount of people in the shop, greeting you as they are letting you in and thanking you as they are letting you out of the store And asking customers 'DO NOT LIFT YOUR MASK TO SMELL THE PRODUCT" which for some unfortunate poor souls can't follow the simple request. Oh my gosh! Where do i even begin! This was my first experience at Lush and bou was I blown away! I went in to get a shampoo bar because I'm moving to a remote part of Africa that has limited access to toiletries. I was working with an employee who was so helpful in making sure I had a shampoo bar that was tailored to my curly dry hair. She also suggested getting the conditioner bar too but I didn't have that much cash. Earlier that week I got my purse stolen and only had a small amount of cash on me, so I only could buy the shampoo bar, but after hearing my story, the lovely employee (with the awesome multi-colored hair, I'm so sorry I can't remember her name!) found me as I was leaving and handed me the conditioner bar too!! She was seriously so kind and I felt so seen and loved! It was such a hard week (my car got keyed the same week) and I honestly couldn't stop smiling after leaving the store. They didn't have to do that for me, but they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. This was such a great first impression of Lush and I will DEFINITELY be back! read more
