There were a variety of candle shapes to choose from at different price points. He opted for the boat, which was about $8. You first pay for your candle, then an employee attaches a string and hook so you can start dipping. There were several colors to choose from. After selecting his colors, my son was patient between each dip as you have to wait 15 seconds to dry. You do have to be careful not to drop your candle into the colored wax because otherwise you're done for and candle is gone. He had a great experience and really enjoyed seeing his candle come together after each dip. The shop itself is pretty small so it can feel crowded very quickly, but the candle dipping experience was fun.

I'm so glad he brought me here, but I sure wish I had taken more photos because the inside is so beautiful and peaceful. We got to dip our own candles in different color wax (so fun!) and picked up some of the best-smelling incense I've ever found -- and everything was super affordable! Amazing service, awesome prices, and the vibes were unmatched. Honestly can't wait to come back the next time I'm in San Diego!

As soon as we walked in, an associate named Valerie (if I remember her name correctly) greeted us with a warm smile and asked what brought us into the store. When I mentioned that I was there for my birthday reward, she immediately helped me understand which items qualified and also shared some of the current sales and promotions. I really appreciated her recommendations and friendly attitude. In fact, everyone in the store seemed welcoming, cheerful, and genuinely happy to help customers. The positive atmosphere made the shopping experience even more enjoyable. Although I usually order online, this visit reminded me why shopping in-store can be so much fun. Being able to see, smell, and try the products in person makes a big difference, and the excellent customer service made the experience even better. Overall, I had a smooth and pleasant visit with no issues at all. The staff was friendly, the store was well-organized, and I left with a great impression. I'll definitely be coming back for more in-store shopping in the future.

I turned to Kabir for his Spiritual Guidance and also asked if his prepared candles could help me. What did I have to lose? The candles were beautiful. I had purchased my first set of candles from CandleMagicWorks.com and Kabir surprised me with a gift - a special candle that he had prepared for my loved one. Kabir truly cares. He is so very kind hearted and giving. Amazingly, I felt a noticeable difference within a few days. I wasn't the emotional wreck I had been before. Sitting with Kabir and discussing some of things that used to keep my mind going a mile a minute, he helped me put things into perspective and walked me through how to get back into alignment. The candles being like the cherry on top. Lighting a candle, setting my intentions, and honing my intuition was as simple as 1-2-3 with his guidance. The rest seemed to take course on it's own. Kabir is so personable, I felt comfortable taking his advice into account. He has helped me through some things where it was hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. However now, I am able to recenter myself with a few quiet moments to myself and sometimes using a candle to enhance my focus on specific goals. Despite how apprehensive I initially was, my only thought now is that I wish I would have found him sooner.

I look forward to the new collections coming out every year. My friends joke that I need to buy stock in this company. I buy their products both online and in the stores. I frequent three different locations. This location is in Claremont Square next to the Vons grocery store. I go to this location every one or two moths as it is on my route for some meetings that I attend. It has its plusses and minuses. First, in general, it is a neatly organized and well-stocked store. They had tons on sale after the holidays this year. Second, the people working there are knowledgeable about the products. Third, I usually get there around 5:00 or 5:30 on a weekday, and it is never very crowded, so I don't have to wait in line. However, lately, there has been something really bothering me. It has now happened two or three times. When I walk in, they ask what I'm looking for. I either know exactly what I want (my usual scents) or I want to quietly browse. I will ask the staff if I need anything. Lately, they have been super insistent on trying to spray me with some new scent or make me use some random lotion. Last time when I walked in, I told them I was just browsing. They then lead me to a sink and asked me to wash my hands with the new scent. I declined, but almost felt like they were trying to force me. They almost act like, how dare I decline! This was not the first time they have given me this reaction. This has not happened to me in other stores. I have liked this store up until the past few months. I'm not going to buy a new scent because I'm forced to use it. Also, they are not going to make more money from me by trying to get me to switch from the scents that I was already planning to buy. I have placed this feedback in a customer survey as well, so I'm hoping for a change so that I can continue to shop there.
