My review is based solely on their body care item, specifically their whipped body butter…read more I came here because I wanted to look at their body care items. They have a really good variety of body care items. I was interested in getting their whipped body frosting, and was excited to see that some of them were being discounted because they were getting a different packaging. The first red flag should have been when I was trying to look at the oz of the jar and could not find it (I just looked at their website, and the amount is not listed there either). However, since it was on sale, I purchased some anyways. When I started using the product I realized that the jar is misleading because it looked like there was a decent amount of product, but the packaging itself is thick, you are not getting as much product as you think. If you were to use it daily on your whole body once a day, you will maybe get about 2.5 weeks use out of one jar. If it was not on sale, this would not be a good value to product ratio. At $17 a jar, if you were to use a jar up within 2 weeks, that comes out to $34 a month.

I'm so glad he brought me here, but I sure wish I had taken more photos because the inside is so beautiful and peaceful. We got to dip our own candles in different color wax (so fun!) and picked up some of the best-smelling incense I've ever found -- and everything was super affordable! Amazing service, awesome prices, and the vibes were unmatched. Honestly can't wait to come back the next time I'm in San Diego!

I am a huge fan of B&BW. I use their products every single day and give their products as gifts…read more I burn the 3-wick candles nightly, and I absolutely love their Halloween and Christmas collections. I look forward to the new collections coming out every year. My friends joke that I need to buy stock in this company. I buy their products both online and in the stores. I frequent three different locations. This location is in Claremont Square next to the Vons grocery store. I go to this location every one or two moths as it is on my route for some meetings that I attend. It has its plusses and minuses. First, in general, it is a neatly organized and well-stocked store. They had tons on sale after the holidays this year. Second, the people working there are knowledgeable about the products. Third, I usually get there around 5:00 or 5:30 on a weekday, and it is never very crowded, so I don't have to wait in line. However, lately, there has been something really bothering me. It has now happened two or three times. When I walk in, they ask what I'm looking for. I either know exactly what I want (my usual scents) or I want to quietly browse. I will ask the staff if I need anything. Lately, they have been super insistent on trying to spray me with some new scent or make me use some random lotion. Last time when I walked in, I told them I was just browsing. They then lead me to a sink and asked me to wash my hands with the new scent. I declined, but almost felt like they were trying to force me. They almost act like, how dare I decline! This was not the first time they have given me this reaction. This has not happened to me in other stores. I have liked this store up until the past few months. I'm not going to buy a new scent because I'm forced to use it. Also, they are not going to make more money from me by trying to get me to switch from the scents that I was already planning to buy. I have placed this feedback in a customer survey as well, so I'm hoping for a change so that I can continue to shop there.

I then went back to do a little holiday shopping, and have been back many times since. I am also happy that the shop continues to host a spirt stop on the stroll. Kiko + Sven is a tiny shop with a lot of cute items. Some appear handmade and other are just cute or unique. They probably have more jewelry than anything. It is mostly dainty gold and silver, some with long beads and some made from clay. They have a back wall that is full of greeting cards, and a section of toddler and baby items. There are usually quite a few candles and soaps, and a small amount of cocktail/cooking supplies. All of it calls out to me... and makes me want to spend money. They also have a rack of clothing in the shop, and usually a sale rack outside. I have bought a couple of tops and a cute shawl there in the past, but since the selection is so small, I often don't find any clothing that either is my size or style. I think it is a great shop to browse and find something unecspected. As it is very small, the times I went looking for something more specific for gifts, it has been a bit hit or miss. Their stock varies over time and you may or may not luck out. All in all, if you are shopping or eating on Adams, go check it out. It's really fun to browse and you may find something you like. Also, they will make you an account so you can put your phone number in for discounts without any coupons or solicitaitons.

DO NOT GO HERE. This…read moreexperience was extremely uncomfortable, disorienting, and inappropriate. The session involved tarot cards, but alongside that, the individual engaged in unsolicited counseling and interrogation-style questioning. From the beginning, she asked rapid-fire, highly personal questions and did not allow me to finish answers before immediately moving on to more questions. I felt talked over, rushed, and unable to respond or ground myself. Throughout the session, she repeatedly stated out loud that she "trusted me," which felt very strange and performative given the way the interaction was unfolding. Rather than creating comfort, this made the situation feel staged and psychologically unsettling. The tarot portion felt generic and manipulative. Cards were pulled and immediately tied to sweeping conclusions that could apply to almost anyone, followed by loaded questions designed to force agreement. The connections felt retrofitted rather than meaningful, more like a game of word association or Pictionary than insight. She disclosed that she had met with my father earlier and has seen multiple members of my family. Despite repeatedly insisting she was "not biased," the questioning and conclusions clearly felt shaped by prior information. It felt as though the session had been pre-constructed based on her existing clientele rather than anything I was actually saying. At several points, the tone became openly judgmental and attacking. I was interrupted constantly and spoken to condescendingly. I became so uncomfortable that I seriously wanted to leave. I left the session visibly distressed and cried in my car afterward because the entire experience was so far over the line and bizarre. Because of how extreme and inappropriate it was, my healthcare team is now aware. This was not guidance, not neutral, and not emotionally safe. If you are looking for clarity or respectful interaction, I strongly recommend staying away Acknowledgment / Clarification I want to acknowledge that my original Yelp review was posted in error and did not accurately reflect my experience. That version was not the final draft I intended to publish. After spending significant time drafting and revising, I made a simple posting mistake. I take responsibility for that error and apologize for the inaccuracy. I have since updated my review to reflect the version I had prepared and intended to share, which accurately describes what occurred during my appointment based on my firsthand experience. While I regret the initial mistake, it does not negate or change what transpired, which is fully represented in the revised review.
