I've been looking for a good local leather shop recently. Came across this business and read the…read moregreat reviews.. unfortunately it was a huge disappointment.. don't waste your time or money!! I brought the bag in and we looked at what the issue was.. the thread was coming undone where the strap was being secured to the bag.. we agreed to put in a single black rivet on each side to match and secure the strap.. told me it'd be about 15 minutes. I came back and he put in three on each side which was a bit strange.. I noticed they were uneven and they even scratched the front of the bag under the flap.. talked to him about that then he apologized and tried to buff it out.. paid the man and walked out because I was already upset about the quality of work done.. on the way out noticed that he actually spliced the leather on the side right where the stitching was coming undone so now it's even worse than before because that entire piece of leather is no longer securing the strap.. almost the same exact issue I came in to solve but worse because he would have to fully take it apart to fix it.. seems sneaky to me.. just felt like they were trying to get more money out of me and the job he did do was very inadequate .. definitely no pride in their craftsmanship... got my money back and said I was going somewhere else! very upset because I'd like to regularly support local businesses... went in there based on the great reviews they had specifically about their craftsmanship no matter how small the job. makes you think about going to bigger companies with actual standards... if zero was an option, I'd put that instead..

Repaired my WWII binocular case. Excellent workmanship, good customer service and reasonable price.read more

If you love art, you will love this store. They carry all kinds of creative items with some…read morerecognizable and contemporary art used in their pieces from all over the world. They have phone cases for all types of cellphones, which is nice because some places that you visit only have phone cases for iPhones. I have an iPhone 7 Plus and I was very impressed at the selection of phone cases available. I used to have a Samsung and I was equally as impressed that they had cases for them, as well. Their prices are high, no doubt; especially for a phone case. They were all $29 for a case. I wished they were a little bit cheaper or had a special deal or something if you buy more than one case. I would have loved to buy 2 or 3, but I couldn't see spending almost $90 on 3 phone cases. I did however buy 2 cases; one for my son since he did a great job taking care of his sisters while I was on my trip. The prints on them were really cool. From Marilyn Monroe and Jimi Hendrix to different city scenes in New York, San Francisco, Paris, and San Diego to graffiti scenes, etc. They had wallets and credit card holders that had some of the same scenes, as well as bags, leather magnets, leather key chains, shirts, print art and even skateboards. The cheapest thing in there was the phone case. They do have a Yelp check-in offer for 10% off your purchase, but the cashier didn't enter it right. I even showed him on the receipt that it says the total discount is 5%, not 10%, but he gave me some lame explanation saying he took 5% off of each case, when in fact he only took 2.5% off of each case. I didn't want to stand there and teach math and haggle over the issue, so I let it go. Either way, the most important thing was to get something for my son and I achieved that.

I work in Customer service, so i know what it takes to be in this kind of work enviorment. Karla, one of their few great employees, is probably the best one there! Probably the best I have ever known! Everytime I've walked in there i am greeted with a smile and a Hello, and she always asks how im doing and ive seen her ask people where they are from (its a touristy area) which goes to show how much they care for their customer experience. There are a lot of choices here for art, their theme is very contemporary and modern, and like the name suggests it has many pieces inspired by street artwork. Thankfully the wonderful miss Karla was willing and able to help with my search for a great item. Her knowledge of the store and placement was astounding. She helped me get a wallet/card holder that had California on it. It was a great choice, my friends are always telling what a nice wallet it is, and to be honest its pretty great What sold me for this place was the service and people working there. Some places just forget the whole customer experience, not this place though. Karla just gave me hope for this world that there are still genuinely amazing people out there.

It's so great to have a place that does good work on shoes and leather goods. I brought several belts in for repair and the price was super reasonable. Much cheaper than buying new belts.

I had a bit of a nightmare moment with my Bottega Veneta bag... literally right after getting it, I…read moreaccidentally spilled skincare oil on it. I was devastated. I contacted another cobbler first, told to send photos, waited for callbacks, called them again and got vague answers about how delicate the leather was and how cleaning it could spread the stain... they said they'll think of ways on what to do and call me back and then never heard back again. Thankfully, I found Chito's Shoe Repair online and reached out by text with photos of my bag. Within 5 minutes, they responded and asked me to call. Jenny spoke with me personally and was incredibly patient, kind, and reassuring. She didn't make unrealistic promises, but she took the time to explain that she wouldn't fully know the outcome until she saw the bag in person. I was extremely stressed, and her honesty mixed with compassion immediately made me feel better. What truly amazed me was that even though the only time I could get there was after their hours, Jenny still accommodated me and allowed me to bring the bag in. That level of kindness and care is rare. When I arrived, she carefully inspected the bag and walked me through exactly what her cleaning process would be. She explained everything in detail and set realistic expectations while still making me feel hopeful. At that point, I honestly thought I may have ruined my bag permanently.. especially because in my panic, I had already tried a few things myself that probably made the stain worse. Two days later, I picked up my bag and it looked like NOTHING had ever happened. I genuinely could not believe it. The stain was gone, and my bag looked beautiful again. What stood out even more was how much Jenny genuinely cared about educating me. She taught me about leather care, explained how leathers react , and even gave me advice on a wallet project I was trying to fix myself. She wasn't trying to upsell me or push me to bring everything in for repair -- she actually wanted me to understand how to care for my own items. That says so much about her character and integrity. I also met her husband Chris, and together they are just wonderful people. Warm, knowledgeable, honest, and clearly passionate about what they do. I'm beyond grateful I found someone I can truly trust with my luxury pieces. Thank you again, Jenny and Chris, for saving my bag and for treating me with so much kindness throughout the entire process!
