I liked the styling the owner did throughout the event, as the cars from Lexus were 'paired' with dressed of the same color and the ensemble was very nice. She took an item in from a consigner at a certain price and then changes her mind once she finds out it's valuable This is a reply to shop owners response: You know you did wrong. you took the item in on consignment and with you and the consigning agreed on a percentage in price. You offered to sell this to me at a certain price. But when I let you know, this is uranium glass you changed your mind because you wanted to make more money simple. How does a vendor get away with offering a customer an item at a certain price and then change their mind just prior to selling it when they find out it's worth more than they want to sell it for.

The inventory is always great and it is just such a relaxing peaceful store to be in. Definitely different than any boutique I've been in before. The staff are friendly and helpful while still giving you plenty of space to browse. They are also great at offering suggestions about what items would go well together. Overall, it's just a wonderful store that I happily recommend to all my friends and family (and also an easy place for my husband to get me a gift card to! ).

The cashier was friendly and I was on my way. When I arrived home I realized that I hadn't been given the correct discount on my purchase. I called and the same cashier answered the phone. I explained to him the discrepancy and he apologized saying, "my bad, just bring the receipt next time you come in and we will take care of it." I'm used to J Crew's usually great customer service so I didn't think about it. Fast forward a week, and I returned to the store. I walked around the store and shopped a little more. I tried on a few things that didn't work. As I was walking around I spotted a pair of shoes I really liked. I tried them on and decided I wanted them. They were marked down and in an area where there were additional mark down on sale item signs. When I got to the counter, I explained the situation with the previous cashier and the woman (Krystal) at the counter said to me it was not on further sale at that point and she stated the day that sale started. I pointed out to her that that was the day that I was there and it was on my receipt. She begrudgingly agreed acting like I was in the wrong. She then rang up the shoes which came up as a higher price than originally marked. When I questioned her about this, she said they were not on sale. I had to physically show her where the basket was that had the shoes in it and she still did not want to give me the sale price. There were multiple shoes in that basket, including another pair of the ones that I got. It was one of the strangest most disappointing interactions I have ever had in a retail store. It felt accusatory, as if I was trying to pull a fast one. I'm not sure what the issue was, but I won't be in again anytime soon. If I do decide to return, I will throughly check my receipt before I leave and you should too
