Don't waste your time going here. The women who work here watch your every move as you are browsing the store and it is very uncomfortable. There was not a big selection literally nothing in the size we needed, either too small or too big. I have been shopping dance wear for years and the stuff here was completely overpriced. Initially, we went to another place for full sole shoes and my daughter said she didn't want to go back cause of the bad customer service. After some more Yelp search, her and her friends stumbled upon Dressed 2 Dance. The appt was fast and easy for point fitting. Lori was super sweet, knowledgeable, and very patience. Trust me, we went through almost 20 pairs for my daughter's weird feet to find the right one. Lori didn't give up. My daughter came out very happy and said "We have to come back here"! Oh my gosh what can I say about this gem of a dance supply store? Before D2D opened, I used to have to purchase our dance supplies online - so overwhelming, confusing and because I didn't know what size to purchase I would end up buying and returning before finding the right fit- not at all efficient! As a dance mom who grew up playing sports, I had no idea about what to look for in a dance shoe, what they wear to practice, and what they need for performances. Thank goodness for the helpful and attentive (and convenient!) dressed to dance associates. Great local business that I trust for all of our dance gear! I have been getting all of our dancewear from Dressed 2 Dance for the past 5 years, leos, tights, shoes, cute bags, and hair accessories! Great variety of products and all great quality. I'm always skeptical to order online because I never know what I will get. I came in excited and ready to get ballet stuff for my first adult ballet class. I needed soft ballet shoes and there was a lovely teenage girl there that helped, as I had no idea how they were supposed to fit I asked her what shoes were best. Unfortunately she fit me wrong and the shoes did not work on my first day of dance class. When I went back to try and exchange the shoes for ones that actually fit, being within the 15 day exchange period & having worn them for ONE class, they took zero accountability for not properly fitting me. When I went in I told a middle aged blonde lady politely if I could exchange the shoes and she said I could not exchange them and was very curt and rude about it even though I was trying my best to be polite and understanding as I have worked in retail before, but she did not want to give me the time of day. I tried to call and see if I could talk to a manager about it the same day as I felt bad about the experience but the manager was not there within the same hour I went in! It was some poor young girl taking the call. It should be the manager's responsibility to take the complaints NOT their employees! read more

Discovered this place when we needed a leotard and shorts at the last minute for a figure skating recital (our online order did not arrive in time). I was so pleasantly surprised to find this great place! The store is really well stocked with sizes and options, the quality of the products was excellent (Capezio / Bloch), and the owner was helpful. I visited this store twice: on 02Sep22 1030-1053am and on 03Sep22 11-1117am. Excellent customer service on 02Sep from the moment I walked in until I walked out. The sales person, Annora, was busy at the register with 3 customers but she took a moment to greet me and to tell me that she would be right with me. When she helped me, the phone rang and she excused herself to quickly answer the phone and returned to me within 1 minute. She helped me purchase the correct leotard for my daughter and made sure my item was not an exchange as the first one I looked at appeared to be stretched at the hip area. Annora was helpful, professional, and happy to help me. She is a model employee and Dressed 2 Dance is lucky to have her. FIVE stars. However, my second visit on 03Sep was the complete opposite. I walked in and an older woman with shoulder length blond/grey hair, at the register was sorting through things and there weren't any customers at the register. She looked up when I walked in and did not greet me at all. I still said hello and walked over to the register. Still no greeting. I told her that I needed to make an exchange and she checked their inventory to make sure the size I needed was available. While she checked on their computer system, a Caucasian woman and her toddler walked in and immediately she took a moment, looked her way and said, "Hi, we'll be right with you." This sales woman found the size I needed, went in the back room to retrieve it, and told another younger sales woman, Alyssa, that my transaction was an exchange, before helping the other customer that walked in with her daughter. She didn't say anything towards me to the effect of "Alyssa, will take care of you" to close the sale. This was HORRIBLE customer service. ZERO stars. If this happened on my first visit, I would have only purchased the mandatory leotard instead of adding a dance bag and boots. Moving forward, I will only purchase the mandatory leotard and purchase everything else on Amazon. ALL of the Dressed 2 Dance employees and owner, should follow Annora's professionalism towards EVERY customer that enters the door. read more

The store is clean and very well stocked with different styles and sizes. I came in a couple times with my daughter (rhythmic gymnast) and the staff are very accommodating to our needs! The girls and I were so excited to now have a place within 3 miles of our house to go grab gear! Before D2D opened, I had to go to east county, the mall (which no longer has a dance store) or order expensive items online and pay shipping just to get dance shoes and tights! D2D has competitive pricing on items you need, as well as a staff that goes out of their way to fit your dancer for just the right shoe, tights or leotard! And they even have a point system! I love to know I'm earning points with all the $$ spent on tights on a monthly basis with all the dancing my girls do! Grandparents go in and get gift cards for holidays and birthdays - which help me out a lot with all the dance stuff that is needed.
