We need a gift for a couple of ballet dancers in a short notice. This is the only dancer supply shop that opens on Sunday in the area. The shop is bright, clean, and very organized. Staff at the store are friendly and helpful. Will visit again if there is any other needs for dance supplies. read more

Dressed 2 Dance - Dressed 2 Dance store entrance in Rancho Bernardo - Dance Wear Near Me - San Diego, California

As soon as I walked in, two women greeted me. They asked if I was looking for anything specific and if they could help. I was secretly in a rush but did not want to make that their problem. Luckily they made my visit so easy and honestly wonderful. They brought me EXACTLY what I needed and knew what size and color to give me without me having to say. I really appreciated their kindness and will be back for more ‍‍ I believe this was Friday the 20,3/20/26. read more

Came for jazz shoes, the lady was attentive and helped us find what we needed, we were in and out in a matter of minutes. We're not from here, but we'll return if we're ever back in the area. read more

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at dressed to dance today. We were helped by a sweet sales associate who knew exactly what we needed for beginning ballet and helped us stay within a price range I was comfortable with. They had a wide variety of styles and pricing. We were shown a beautiful selection of ballet basics at great pricing. This experience blew online shopping out of the water for me. I would have never known the correct sizing. My daughter was able to try everything on and we left prepared for her class that starts this evening. read more

Great service and selection. They make your dancer feel special and appreciated. We love shopping there

Initially, we went to another place for full sole shoes and my daughter said she didn't want to go back cause of the bad customer service. After some more Yelp search, her and her friends stumbled upon Dressed 2 Dance. The appt was fast and easy for point fitting. Lori was super sweet, knowledgeable, and very patience. Trust me, we went through almost 20 pairs for my daughter's weird feet to find the right one. Lori didn't give up. My daughter came out very happy and said "We have to come back here"! TY for a wonderful experience. We definitely will be back. read more

Don't waste your time going here. The women who work here watch your every move as you are browsing the store and it is very uncomfortable. There was not a big selection literally nothing in the size we needed, either too small or too big. I have been shopping dance wear for years and the stuff here was completely overpriced. We ended up driving to the other dance store in town where you can shop comfortably and get the same brands but at a better price. read more

This little dance store is a hidden gem. I love to support local businesses. Especially ones that respect and welcome everyone. The sales person/ owner was amazing. Very knowledgeable and will to talk about the different products in the store. She has such a range of product. I hope this business stays around for a longtime. I would like to see more selections of tight colors. I'll be back for sure and I hope you will come in and shop also. read more

Had a great experience with my daughter and her dance mates getting fitted for pointe and Demi pointe shoes today. Awesome customer service. This will be our go to place. Worth the drive. read more

I haven't danced since dance/pom team in high school, so I needed some help figuring out which jazz/character shoes felt best on my feet. Anora was so knowledgeable and kind, and she helped me deliberate which ones to go with out of multiple pairs. We chatted about our dance backgrounds; her energy was so warm, friendly, and welcoming. The shop is quaint and seems to have a good size selection of dance attire and shoes. The location is great, right off the 15 freeway. Thank you Anora! read more

Dressed 2 Dance - Bloch Jazz Shoes & Capezio Character Shoes - Dance Wear Near Me - San Diego, California

Oh my gosh what can I say about this gem of a dance supply store? Before D2D opened, I used to have to purchase our dance supplies online - so overwhelming, confusing and because I didn't know what size to purchase I would end up buying and returning before finding the right fit- not at all efficient! As a dance mom who grew up playing sports, I had no idea about what to look for in a dance shoe, what they wear to practice, and what they need for performances. Thank goodness for the helpful and attentive (and convenient!) dressed to dance associates. It also feels GREAT knowing I am recirculating my hard earned money to support a local women-owned small business. I have also personally known (and danced with- hello moms hip hop) both of the owners for years. They are some of the kindest, caring, most genuine and smartest women I have had the pleasure of being friends with. You can be PROUD to support them. read more

My daughter needed some ballet shoes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We got the ballet shoes and a new leotard and tights.

We came in looking for some jazz shoes and it was close to closing. The workers that were there were so helpful and didn't mind one bit they were about to close and instead helped us look for what we needed! We will definitely be comming back for our dance gear needs in the future! read more

My granddaughter and I got great service when I took her shopping for dance shoes. She needed a couple of different kinds. I wish I could remember the name of the woman who assisted us. So happy to have a dance store close and in the Poway, Rancho Bernardo, 4S and Rancho Penasquitos area. This place has a rewards program so make sure you sign up! The girls who work here are super nice and helpful. I didn't know what I needed exactly and they steered me in the right direction after explaining what I was looking for. I have been there a few times and the girls are always helpful and happy to help. read more

The nicest staff. Was happy to find an actual dance store near San Diego. We will definitely return soon,

LOVE LOVE LOVE supporting independent businesses, and this one is just great! Took my kiddo here to get ballet clothes and slippers, and found out that it's owned by a group of five mom friends. One of the owners who was there and her assistant were incredibly helpful getting us the right sized apparel and shoes and were just so friendly. We signed up for the rewards program and got a discount on one of the items. This is our go-to place from now on. Totally worth the drive! read more

Great local business that I trust for all of our dance gear! I have been getting all of our dancewear from Dressed 2 Dance for the past 5 years, leos, tights, shoes, cute bags, and hair accessories! Great variety of products and all great quality. I'm always skeptical to order online because I never know what I will get. It's nice to have a local store I can trust with sizing and helpful employees. Gals there are knowledgeable and kind. They spent time with each of my daughters fitting them for just the right size shoe (and my girls are picky!). Wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Discovered this place when we needed a leotard and shorts at the last minute for a figure skating recital (our online order did not arrive in time). I was so pleasantly surprised to find this great place! The store is really well stocked with sizes and options, the quality of the products was excellent (Capezio / Bloch), and the owner was helpful. And most surprisingly, the prices were better than what we ordered online. I'm so glad to have found this little gem of a store! read more

According to the previous reviews , came to this store , Professional service , high quality shoes . Thanks a lot read more

I came in excited and ready to get ballet stuff for my first adult ballet class. I needed soft ballet shoes and there was a lovely teenage girl there that helped, as I had no idea how they were supposed to fit I asked her what shoes were best. Unfortunately she fit me wrong and the shoes did not work on my first day of dance class. When I went back to try and exchange the shoes for ones that actually fit, being within the 15 day exchange period & having worn them for ONE class, they took zero accountability for not properly fitting me. When I went in I told a middle aged blonde lady politely if I could exchange the shoes and she said I could not exchange them and was very curt and rude about it even though I was trying my best to be polite and understanding as I have worked in retail before, but she did not want to give me the time of day. I tried to call and see if I could talk to a manager about it the same day as I felt bad about the experience but the manager was not there within the same hour I went in! It was some poor young girl taking the call. It should be the manager's responsibility to take the complaints NOT their employees! read more

I visited this store twice: on 02Sep22 1030-1053am and on 03Sep22 11-1117am. Excellent customer service on 02Sep from the moment I walked in until I walked out. The sales person, Annora, was busy at the register with 3 customers but she took a moment to greet me and to tell me that she would be right with me. When she helped me, the phone rang and she excused herself to quickly answer the phone and returned to me within 1 minute. She helped me purchase the correct leotard for my daughter and made sure my item was not an exchange as the first one I looked at appeared to be stretched at the hip area. Annora was helpful, professional, and happy to help me. She is a model employee and Dressed 2 Dance is lucky to have her. FIVE stars. However, my second visit on 03Sep was the complete opposite. I walked in and an older woman with shoulder length blond/grey hair, at the register was sorting through things and there weren't any customers at the register. She looked up when I walked in and did not greet me at all. I still said hello and walked over to the register. Still no greeting. I told her that I needed to make an exchange and she checked their inventory to make sure the size I needed was available. While she checked on their computer system, a Caucasian woman and her toddler walked in and immediately she took a moment, looked her way and said, "Hi, we'll be right with you." This sales woman found the size I needed, went in the back room to retrieve it, and told another younger sales woman, Alyssa, that my transaction was an exchange, before helping the other customer that walked in with her daughter. She didn't say anything towards me to the effect of "Alyssa, will take care of you" to close the sale. This was HORRIBLE customer service. ZERO stars. If this happened on my first visit, I would have only purchased the mandatory leotard instead of adding a dance bag and boots. Moving forward, I will only purchase the mandatory leotard and purchase everything else on Amazon. ALL of the Dressed 2 Dance employees and owner, should follow Annora's professionalism towards EVERY customer that enters the door. read more

This dance store is a blessing to have in the neighborhood! Quick and easy stop to bring in your dancer/athlete to try on apparel and shoes for the perfect fit. The store is clean and very well stocked with different styles and sizes. I came in a couple times with my daughter (rhythmic gymnast) and the staff are very accommodating to our needs! (Yes, there's quite a few things to consider between RG workout clothes and a dancer practice outfit)! I also love that D2D features random customers to be their "featured dancer" from various age groups or levels! VIP star treatment I say! read more

I have 2 daughters that have been dancing for the past 10 years with no local dance store to shop and get all their dance gear until....D2D opened up in our little 92128! The girls and I were so excited to now have a place within 3 miles of our house to go grab gear! Before D2D opened, I had to go to east county, the mall (which no longer has a dance store) or order expensive items online and pay shipping just to get dance shoes and tights! D2D has competitive pricing on items you need, as well as a staff that goes out of their way to fit your dancer for just the right shoe, tights or leotard! And they even have a point system! I love to know I'm earning points with all the $$ spent on tights on a monthly basis with all the dancing my girls do! Grandparents go in and get gift cards for holidays and birthdays - which help me out a lot with all the dance stuff that is needed. Super friendly, great discounts and specials and so grateful they are in Rancho Bernardo serving our community! ‍ read more
