Five Below - Storefront from TJ Maxx

This Five Below has its moments. Store can be a bit messy and disorganized at times but you can…read moregenerally browse and find random stuff. They have a lot of Sanrio (which I love, especially anything Kuromi), anime, HP, gaming (like Pac-Man, Mario, Minecraft, etc.) and trendy items. I sometimes really good quality art supplies like alcohol markers cute stationery. I also love blind boxes and find them a few dollars cheaper here vs. other retailers. I love graphic tees & love that they have a lot of them, however the displays on the wall don't match the cubes under. This area can also be ever disorganized. The checkout is setup like self checkout terminals but sometimes the staff stand at them and scan your items.

I'm shocked that I have never reviewed this Five Below at Southtown Center in Bloomington. I can't…read moreexplain the oversight, but I get to fix it now. What's special about this store is that it's connected to TJ Maxx next door. You simply walk between the two stores without exiting the building. It's perfect when the weather is less than stellar. It's convenient and a nice touch! This plaza has a lot of parking. I've never had problems finding a spot. This store has the best Sanrio merchandise. I have bought a number of Sanrio figurines. They are cute, cheap, and sturdy. They have flown back home with me in pristine condition. The plushie selection is also excellent. Squishmallows go for $6 each. I have purchased many cool ones from this store over the years. I also got a Squishmallows bracelet that was cool. The snacks and candy are great. I have purchased M&M's and Haribo gummies from this store. They satisfied my cravings and are reasonably priced. I like the phone accessories here. From a corded travel mouse, to phone mounts, there's something practical and cool to purchase. I liked the Twizzlers wall charger and sushi phone case. Sadly, the latter was for an iPhone. If it were available for my phone, I would have got it in a heartbeat. Staff are always friendly at the checkout. I tend to pay with a credit card. I like the quick one-question survey about the shopping experience on the payment keypad. It's straightforward and simple. It's a decent store. I enjoy dropping by when I'm in the area. (11)

I love this place!!!…read more It's now an 'O'Reilly Auto Parts' (at least two years now). These people are great! This time I got both an engine and cabin air filter for less than $40 whereas the Dealership wanted $128 for the same two filters. Garret, the associate helping me, was awesome. He actually put in the two filters for me (it was my first time doing it on this vehicle) and they didn't charge me anything. I tried to give him a tip but he wouldn't accept (OMG what incredible service.). They also offer free electrical testing, free wiper blade installation, free check engine light testing, free recycling of parts, and will loan you tools to install parts, if needed! What a great place! Thank you Garr. 2019 update: I came in again and like before they were super helpful and helped me install new blades. A great place to go!

We asked for spark plugs and he didn't even suggest which brand to go with. I didn't feel welcomed by J.R. His co-worker on the other hand (Michael I believe his name was) was assisting another customer and that interaction sounded dope. He was tuned in to the customer and was very resourceful! The store itself can receive 5 stars everyday. my experience today though was a 2 star, pushing 1 because one employee acted as if we ruined his day.

Midtown Global Market has been such a staple in my life. It does such a good job of having food options from so many cultures and parts of the world. The food is reasonably priced and the workers are all so kind and knowledgable. Beyond just food, there is a huge selection of art, groceries, clothing, and more. MGM has always felt like the ideal of what Minneapolis is and can be. I am sad to see a lot of booths closed right now. My heart aches for my neighbors and community. I hope (and know) that MGM can bounce back and continue to be a place of diverse community. Love MGM always.

Seems like they are trying to bring people back by hosting more events (they've always had events but really pushing for the community to out). They still have some decent food options. Sad about Slice closing before I had to a chance to check them out. Still a few shops and produce vendors. I was born and raised for a bit in South Mpls and I find this area to be a bit challenging sometimes especially with them narrowing Lake Street down to single lanes. Makes me avoid the area as a whole. Definitely not MGM fault but generally unfortunate. You do have to pay for parking, ramp or metered. Or you could be lucky and find a spot around the neighborhood and walk over.
