This place is a great place to shop because everyone that works there is so helpful and friendly. However, I am super upset that the bra style I have been buying for a lot of years was discontinued. I just bought a bra with padding and an underwire a few days ago and it hurts so bad when I lift my arms. Now I am left with no choice but to go somewhere else to get what I want because they no longer carry the item I like. read more

I had not shopped at Lane Bryant in over a decade because the choice of clothing which they offered had become frumpy, overpriced, and cheaply made. That last time I was there over a decade ago, I was shopping in the Mall of America location, and I made one purchase (which I actually still own and wear currently)--a mustard yellow camisole, and I never again bought anything from them. However, in recent years, as pointed out by my BFF, Mahva J., they've been on the come up! She alerted me to a sale, and I went online and purchased two items, which I chose to have shipped to the store for free. I made it to the store to pick up my order yesterday. When I walked inside, I was pleased at the layout. It was neat, the selection of clothes was bright, stylish, and colorful. There was also a sale--buy one, get one 50% off of everything in the store--but I decided I had better just pick up my order and skip out before I spent up the rent money! There was one particular pink, flowing maxi dress with a black ruffle that I saw and looked at, but I decided to hold off on buying until I could afford to do so. I was also scanning the Cacique section of the store. Its setup reminded me of Victoria's Secret, except for plus-size women. There was a wide selection of beautiful bras and undergarments available, and I wanted to buy at least five bra and panty sets alone! I can't wait to return when I have more time to carefully browse the clothes and intimates, as well as have a fistful of disposable cash to fork over. I am happy that LB now offers more trendy, stylish, well-made clothes that I can fit! read more

Lane Bryant has come a long way and mastered the art of dressing plus-size women. You see, I literally hate shopping for clothes. There are still designers who believe that big girls come in one shape: Round. Well, I've got a waist and a shapely body, so a tent from Omar isn't going to work for me. Lane Bryant has cuts, shapes, and colors for most anyone. If you're short, average, or tall, you'll find something here. Another thing I love is that their clothes help you to embrace the fact that you've probably got a bum to get into those skinny jeans. Additionally, the ladies who work here are friendly and helpful. I have never been reminded that I'm black while shopping here. I have gone into the dressing room with armloads of clothes and never have been told that there's "a limit". There are also excellent sales and coupons here, so you can save money while wardrobing the goddess that you are. If you're a cardholder, the savings can be downright amazing. The quality of the garments is anything but cheap, too. These clothes are built to last so that you've got years to glam it out. If you're looking to cover your curves in style, here's a place where the chances are high you won't leave empty handed. read more

There's never any of my size in half the items in the store. Also, half the people who work there are super rude. Stand your ground when you present a Quikly coupon or code. Went today w a 15% off coupon & the woman basically said it was fake and I was scammed. She refused to even scan it to see if it works or not, but she "took down" the info (spelling Quikly wrong all over the place). It's real and they need to honor it. I used it online w no problem whatsoever (see photos). I'm going to pay off my card and not ever go back. Torrid is a thousand times better, cheaper, and not so Dress Barn-y. read more

I came to LB because I usually have always had a great experience, well not today. First I was ignored, while another customer was being helped with a fitting for nearly 30 min. I would much rather have waited to be helped by the fitter who seemed to have known what she was doing also. I wouldn't have minded that. I worked at Torrid at the MOA for a few years so I understand that at the time I was in the fitting room it was busy. However I feel that this is not an excuse for receiving "help" from a sales person who don't know what she was doing. She barely measured me, kept asking me "Well what size are you?", "What size do you think you are?", "What cup size are you?". I don't know, that's the whole the point of being fitted... This was very frustrating so I left the store. I've bought my bras at this location since I was a teenager and have always had good experiences but I'm not sure I will be back here because of the customer service. I'll spend the extra money and go to Allure in the Galleria of Edina. read more

I have always bought my bras at Lane and have for many years. I ordered some online and had them shipped to this store to be picked up. Two skinny associates were working (which is fine) but that'll play out later. My first visit store clerk #1s response when I asked her if I could use a coupon was "it's already only $13." She also forgot part of my online order so I had to turn around and go back which she retrieved it from the back. When I went back in a few days later to return the bras the same clerks were working. The one who initially helped me didn't say hi and ran to the back. Store clerk #2 helped me this time (another skinny gal). The store clerk #1 asked her during my return process if I was returning a size "C" by chance and #2s response was "definitely not a C." Store clerk #2 also belted out my cup size across the store and forced me to do a full return instead of the exchange I wanted to do. She also asked if I had a bra fitting lately which I said no and she didn't follow up on my no and continued working. I will never return to this store. They were rude, not accommodating, and the worst Lane experience I've ever had. I have struggled with bras and am very large chested so going into a store shopping for one is stressful enough. Judgey rude and girls who wear an "A" cup bra size also don't help me feel at ease either. read more

I had a coupon $10 off, and I chose this location to use it, mainly because we just had dinner in EP and I didn't want to deal with rush hour traffic. I wasn't even sure what I wanted. As I was looking at the beautiful spring shirts, sale items, etc. I spotted shoes and they were all wide, first good sign. Second was that I found a pair I slid right into with one swollen foot. This store is bigger than the Roseville one and easier to spot things. I noticed a couple of men working here, one was the manager. They seem to like it too. I left with a pair of inexpensive black flats and a big ass grin on my face. read more

I have had nothing but great service at this Lane Bryant. The ladies are friendly but not pushy, know how to stay out of your way if necessary, but they're right there if you need something. One time I had a wardrobe malfunction (tore my last pair of good jeans on the corner of a restaurant table), and rushed to Lane Bryant shortly before their closing time for emergency replacement pants. I showed my predicament to the first saleslady I saw, and within five minutes I found myself in a dressing room with a pile of (on sale) jeans in my size. They turned a crisis into a happy ending for sure, that night. If you shop without coupons or sales, LB can be a little pricey. But take advantage of the deals, and you always feel like you're stealing! For example, today, with a combination of sales, a Facebook coupon, and a gift cheque for using my LB credit card, I spent $57 but saved $140! On a serious note, we women of size encounter a lot of prejudice and hateful attitudes in our daily life. Clothes shopping is often something to be dreaded... but not at Lane Bryant. Here you can be treated with consideration and respect, and that's what will keep me coming back. read more

I am on vacation from California to visit my parents. The day I left Cali a fabulous coupon arrived in the mail and I had to use it by the 20th of May. In our rounds of thrift stores, mom and I stopped here so I could look. In addition to this gift certificate/coupon thing, everything in the store was 40% off which was a nice surprise (I had been texted about the 40% but it was a nce surprise). I definately spent more than I expected to. If all the jeans currently in style didn't have that ripped and worn out look I might have bought some but at a retail price of $90 and them not being my look I will need to wait for the next season, hopefully whole pants will be on sale then - in petite of course. The store is 1/2 Lane Bryant and 1/2 Cacique - which looks alot like a Victoria's Secret for big girls. On this trip I bought a denim jacket, green tank top, black shell (like a tank top with wider straps), fabulous green dangly earrings. I would have loved to buy more but my fiscal brain prevailed. I spent $41.70 - I saved $52.60. And of course the big girl store is nestled right next door to the Wendy's restaurant so I can have a frosty for a snack and to keep me in plus sizes and coming back for more. read more

I had a very frustrating experience shopping at Lane Bryant Edina last week. There were 3 ladies working and literally no one spoke to me for the first hour that I was there. A lady even brought me to a dressing room without saying a single word. I needed the dressing room a second time and no one came even after 10 minutes of waiting. And a bell goes off to notify the workers that someone is waiting. There were 2 ladies cashiering a rush of customers. But the third was nowhere to be found. I had to grab a room from someone who was leaving. Good thing I had done research on what I wanted before I went to the store. Because all of my questions went unanswered. On a positive note, I do like Lane Bryant. Especially for the quality of their bras and frequent deals. Hopefully next time I will get better customer service. read more

This is a nice store but very slow and unmotivated staff! I had to do a return and buy a new top and it literally took an hour. Then she took my drivers license and forget to give it back...I was a mess by the time I left due to all the stress! These ladies need to pick up the pace! read more

I have been going to this Lane Bryant since approximately 2005. I shop at this store about 12 times a year in the past. In the last year or less, every time I go into the store when the red headed sales associate is working, she follows me around the store, watches me and goes out of her way to help me. You might ask yourself, why is this a bad thing, well I'll tell you. The first time I met her, I had a return, I bought some panties that I don't normally buy that have the lace trim at the top. I know the sizes well and bought my regular size but when I tried these on, I couldn't get them up my leg and I was afraid I would rip them so I stopped. I ripped the tag off before I attempted to try it on - big mistake. I had 3 pairs total the other 2 had tags on them and I had my receipt. The first thing that came out of her mouth was did you wear these? in an accusatory voice. It was quite obvious these items were unworn. I was insulted by her tone. I literally have about 5-7 instances in which I had the same negative experience with her. It's at the point now, where I have decided to shop at Torrid to spend my hard earned money. Part of me says to not let her stop me from shopping there but I decided in the end, shopping should be fun not stressful and if I want stressful, I'll go to work. read more
