A failed alternator left me and my dog stranded on the shoulder of the 14 Freeway with a completely flat battery. I needed a tow to a shop I knew a few blocks away. Fortunately my phone was fully charged so I commenced calling nearby tow companies. Amazing how many didn't sound very interested in the job! "Is this an AAA Call? No? Oh..." "We can get there in 2 to 3 hours..." "That'll cost $390." Then I called Toro's and spoke directly with the owner-operator! He knew exactly where I was stuck and how to get there quickly, and was familiar with the shop I wanted to get towed to. Around 20 minutes later, he was on scene, deftly backing his wheel lifts up to my truck to get it hooked up quickly and efficiently. Soon he was unloading me at the destination shop. I hadn't even asked how much, and his price was VERY reasonable and extremely competitive! I waited 4 hours for 2 other towing companies. They never showed or even called. But then Toro Towing was my next assigned "service provider". I was given an ETA of 45- 60 minutes. The customer service was exceptional and the experience with Toro's Roadside Towing overall was great. I was on my way from Irvine to Palmdale and my driver side rear tire popped near the Santa Monica area. Unable to change the tire due to complications with the a couple of the lug nuts breaking I called Toro's Roadside Towing. Leonel arrived in a timely manner and within a couple of minutes he hooked up my rear tires up to his wheel lift tow truck. The rest of the ride was not awkward at all and within no time he dropped me off at my destination. The price was very reasonable considering that it was after hours on a Friday night and the distance covered was extensive.
