I once had my old car towed to High Desert Towing when I got in a severe car accident in my old car. The car accident happened on the Pearblossom County Highway when I was on my way home from Las Vegas. When the car accident happened, I called 911, and when the help came, the tow truck driver from High Desert Towing towed my car since it wasn't safe to drive, and when I tried to tell him that I have some personal belongings I need from my car immediately, he refused to give them to me right away. And then a few days later, when my car was in the tow yard, I tried to call High Desert Towing and tell them that I'm ready to have my old car removed and taken to a repair shop to see if my car can get fixed, but the lady I spoke to on the phone said I have to be there in person to sign forms and make the payment. I lost a lot of money because of that, and since I live so far away from High Desert Towing, it would have been a lot better for a form to be emailed to me so that I could have scanned it, signed it, made the payment online or over the phone, and then I wouldn't have had to drive so far just to sign the forms and pay in person. They also charge a lot of money just to leave cars in the tow yard that have been severely damaged. I do not recommend High Desert Towing. And I also do not recommend driving on the Pearblossom County Highway in Littlerock, CA if you're driving from LA to Vegas since there are always a lot of car accidents on that road, and if you're the victim of one like I was, then your car would most likely be towed to High Desert Towing. If you don't want to be put in a bad situation like I was in where I lost my car because of it getting totaled and I had to pay a lot of money to leave my car in the tow yard at High Desert Towing which was not worth paying for, then I would say it's not worth taking a chance to drive through this neighborhood. read more

Awesome service! I was stranded at LAX and AAA was unable to find anyone in LA willing to tow to Lancaster. After several hours they were able to arrange for High Desert Towing. They arrived well within the time frame I was quoted. Knowing that I was stranded for over 8-hours, Pete asked several times if he should stop so I could eat. I strongly recommend High Desert, and if Pete is assigned to you, know you are in great hands! If and when I need towing service in the future, HD will be my choice and I will ask to have Pete assigned to me. read more

My daughter's car broke down. We contacted AAA to have it towed. They assigned High Desert Towing. The dispatcher said the tow truck would arrive in approximately 45 minutes. However! Much to my surprise I received a text 5 minutes later stating the tow truck was on its way. Ten minutes later the tow truck arrived. The assigned driver was Sergio. When I tell you this guy was awesome; he was Awesome. I was unable to locate my daughters tow ring for her vehicle. Sergio offer to assist me looking for it. Even though we never found it; he was able to secure the vehicle and winch it into the ramp. Every step of the tow process was taken with great care. The vehicle was delivered to the repair shop without incident. I tip my hat to High Desert Tow and Sergio for their professional and courteous attitude. If I'm in need of a local tow in the future my request will be for services of High Desert Towing!! read more

Moms car needed a tow. Water pump broke. Called Auto Club who sent out High Desert Towing within 30 minutes. Kyle showed up, ready to work. Only problem, mom misplaced her keys. Kyle graciously waited as mom and I looked for the car keys while Kyle waited patiently reassuring us that there was no problem. Unable to locate the car keys, Kyle left with a great and positive attitude. Within a few hours we found the keys, recalled the Auto Club and within 10 minutes Kyle from High Desert showed up. Great attitude, courteous, professional and a friendly personality. He loaded the car onto the tow truck and chatted a bit mentioning that the last call would not count . Yeah! This is the worst tow company I've even dealt with in my 20 years of AAA they should be removed as AAA tow company we called twice and they said they could not do the tow even after AAA approved a one time exception for the tow then had another person use their card and they declined the tow cause they said I was upseen but I wasn't and they denied the other person the tow who wasn't even me driver was rude if anything and really disappointed with the way I was treated hope AAA fines a better company. again worst service in the high desert should be there name read more

We just had our vehicle towed and the driver was outstanding! I had my tracking app on from AAA and it stated 45 min. The driver called and was there within 20 min. He was professional and kind! I couldn't ask for anything better. The driver was outstanding. My fault for not getting his name but the pickup was from East Palmdale going to HiTech Auto. Kudos to our amazing driver! read more

I had a little situation with the Lancaster police depart because I didn't want to sign a ticket for speeding. He said I was doing 81, I'll go into deep details as I normally do just not now....anyway I wasn't signing the ticket so I actually got towed...handcuffs to the courthouse....was the only one in the courtroom...saw the judge in 15 minutes....blah blah blah... They give you a price of what they say they're going to charge you and when you are charged they charge more than what was said. Then say they will refund you the difference and never do it. Even after following up several times, still nothing is returned. read more

My modified and lowered car had an alternator failure and needed a tow. AAA sent Kyle from this company over with a proper flatbed and his service was amazing! The car made it home without a scratch thanks to him. Would definitely recommend! read more

Bad customer service , I called for road side assistance and the guy who answered just kept saying it's 150.00 for the first 7 miles, when I told him my location he said he had another customer to attend to and hung up, I called back and he repeated the same thing 150.00, I don't know if it was a language barrier but he was rude in any language. read more

My car was impounded by the chp had all my car wash equipment and was stolen they acted like it wasn't them was in their lot and was told to go outside they're money hungry they don't care wouldn't recommend them going to report this to the consumer affair make shure this doesn't happen to anyone read more

Worse tow company ever! No customer service. Kept telling us aaa doesn't cover the tow, when they absolutely did. Made me and wife wait 6 hrs for the tow, and still no show??? This place should not be on the list of AAA approved subcontractors. I ran out of fuel during a mild thunderstorm, and they left us stranded for two-and-a-half more hours while a far more capable company responded in a storm defying pick-up truck. Gotta mention that the storm was over 15 minutes after we ran out of gas, so for them to make a extreme weather cancellation notice was just ludicrous. read more

I could not agree more with the previous poster, First Class Dirtbag. At 10:30am they picked up my car to be taken to an auto shop. I became suspicious when at 1:00pm they called to say there was a delay in getting the car to the shop. So I went to the address on record, there was my car in a locked impound lot! Only after making a dozen phone calls did the same a-hole to picked the car up, showed up, AT 2:45PM! I had a few choice words for him before he took a reaming from someone on the phone. He finally pulled out with my car at almost 3:00pm and the auto shop where it was to go closes at 4:00pm. I have never seen such horrible business practice and I have been a AAA member for over 20 years. I am not done writing reviews until something is done. Avoid at all costs. read more
