6/21/2026: Had a great time taking hubby to dinner for Father's Day. One of his first outings since a total knee replacement! Started getting weird messages from my Mazda app, critical failure warnings? What the heck! When I got to the vehicle, error lights were flashing like crazy. The press to start wasn't working and there were bells going off left and right. While I was trying to troubleshoot, hubby called AAA who said someone would be over in 40 minutes. An hour later we called again and after a lot of stammering, they finally told us the original people they were sending had declined the job. Seriously? It wasn't C&D so this isn't their bad. After pleading our case that we were sitting in a dark parking lot with closed businesses and the area getting sketchier, they reached out to C&D and told us it would be 30-40 minutes. Again! We weren't in a remote area.. we were in the heard of Palmdale near the mall. Robert to the rescue! When the C&D/AAA truck pulled up, it was much earlier than had been quoted and Robert was kind, friendly, and made sure to get us home safe and sound on a Sunday night. He looks professional and gives a sense of confidence and safety.. I appreciated his excellent service! Jason is a diamond in the rough world of car accidents/towing/repair. Car accidents are never pleasant and you're left with so many steps and so much to take care of. Not everyone is honest either. Well, Jason at C&D is the exception. I have been helping my daughter who's been going through it! Even today, the shop owner at the place we were picking up. Our car is giving us the runaround. Jason was not just patient, but extremely helpful and very pleasant to talk with. He did a great job getting our car home safely as well. He was clear and upfront about potential costs. C & D Towing - Nice truck! - Towing Near Me - Palmdale, California

This company along with Aaa was a nightmare. AAA when requesting g service w their AP makes you pin drop your location. Easy right. It took them 2.5 hours to get 5 miles away. On a straight road off the highway. AVE S. I called aaa 3x and then called their dispatch and talked to a guy who had no clue and was laughing and hiccuping. My motorcycle died about 2 miles from.my house. So once the flatbed finally got to.me it was DARK. Then the driver ( who was nice ) said he couldn't pickup my bike on his flatbed because we didn't have an RV policy w Aaa. Say what !!! Its a bike not an RV. So after another hour of back and fourth he said I would have to pay $300 to flatbed my bike 7250 FEET away. Again they had been dispatched and approved by Aaa and now they leave me high and dry. I said F that.....and pushed my motorcycle home in the dark and got home at 9 pm. Bad business by both !!!! The truck stayed their for 20 min and watched me puch my bike a 1/4 mile before he left and drove right by me. SAD SAD SAD what companies have become.. ​ read more

I got this company sent to me through AAA. The guy shows up and tells me he can't tow my car because the car is under my grandmothers name. So I called the company and last names Iris says that's not true. Then she puts me on hold for another agent to pick up the phone and say he was going to speak with his manager. After another 30 minutes of waiting a different agent picks up and tells me they canceled the ride and to call AAA. So I do and AAA says that is not a policy and that she will contact them and she does and they say they are refusing service. read more

There driver said no where to leave the truck and tow it to the yard for it to collect a nice bill for it stay over the weekend With the only way to get it out with a 50% increase to the bill. I think they should operate 24:7 know there just collect money from ppl in tough situations I'm highly disappointed and they even told me we thought of putting it on the street but didn't know if that would be ok with me so they took it Sad I had to pay 460 to get my truck out when it could of been dropped of at my home for free read more

Honestly this business doesn't deserve even one star. I would not recommend this company. Needed a late night tow. They took the car to a yard that was closed then took the car to their yard. Charged us 2 tows. Beware do not use them!!!! read more

I can't say enough great things about them. Jerry was absolutely the most amazing and thorough person I've worked with. He had extreme professionalism and then some. He not only has the loads of strength, speedy and just an absolute joy. He was highly knowledgeable about cars and had some great advice. He blew me away with my entire encounter. If you need someone to tow you, look no further. They're so fast, I couldn't believe how one second I was talking with reception, a few minutes later Jerry was there. No joking on the timeline. I had a highly unacceptable experience with this towing company and strongly advise against using their services. Although the tow truck driver was polite and professional, the company's management and billing practices were deeply concerning. My vehicle was towed after an accident through AAA, which dispatched C and D Towing Specialists. Because the tow was arranged through AAA, the towing service itself was supposed to be fully covered. At the driver's suggestion, I agreed to have my vehicle taken to their yard, located approximately 7.4 miles from the accident site. Less than 48 hours later, when I contacted the company to retrieve my vehicle in order to avoid storage charges, I was quoted an outrageous total of $735. Upon arrival the following day, the manager, Jerry, informed me that I owed $580 and claimed the AAA-covered tow had been "discounted" to $225. I later discovered that my AAA service request had been canceled without my consent so the company could charge a higher rate than their contracted AAA pricing. I was also charged a $70 lien fee under the false claim that my vehicle had been stored for more than 72 hours. When I challenged this, the explanation was arbitrarily changed to "three days" in order to justify keeping the charge. Furthermore, I was repeatedly told--verbally, in writing on my receipt, on the office whiteboard, and within their system--that the daily storage fee was $75. However, at the time of pickup, this fee was suddenly increased to $95 per day, and the receptionist altered the documentation to reflect the higher amount. I felt coerced into paying these disputed and misleading charges simply to retrieve my vehicle and prevent further fees from accumulating. These practices were deceptive, unethical, and highly unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I went for a great hike this morning!! Got back to my car and it wouldn't start. Contacted AAA, someone from the C&D office called and said the driver would be there by 9:57 AM. At 9:57 driver Jacob showed up. He checked out the battery with the little machine thing and confirmed the battery needed replacing. Even showing me the reading on said 'little machine'. Jacob proceeded to kindly answer my questions and with his helped I decided, let's replace it. Jacob guickly and efficiency changed the battery. Not only did he do his job in an excellent fashion he was SUPER patient and kind. There are few things I love more than AMAZING customer service and that is what Jacob provided. Both times I called AAA while out of town visiting family in Palmdale. 1st time I accidentally locked my keys inside my vehicle & the 2nd time my cars tire got a wrench in it from the side of the road that completely popped my tire. Both times the gentleman that arrived called to confirm the address and showed up on time. Can't recall their names but they were both helpful, took their time, offered options and got the issues fixed in a timely manner. read more

They did a poor job, making me wait 30 minutes before the first call, then calling to let me know It would be another hour. They asked me all the questions I answered in AAA over again. They laughed on the phone when I asked if they had a quicker regular tow truck because he said he was going to send a specific tow truck equipped to tow my car. Then they canceled and gave it to another service who picked it up 20 minutes later. Usually this service is okay because they've towed my car before, but today it really sucked. Won't get to the shop in time and I'll have to wait several days to get it back instead of the shop completing it today. read more

This is NOT a 5 star rating company. It's probably family members that posted that. I requested tow TWICE. The first time it was late and they stated one hour wait. I waited and the hour went by. Next they said it was going to take another hour and a half (9/6/24). I JUST requested another tow (9/8/24) and they showed up, stopped for a second and took off. The driver didn't even get out to check if i was in the car and just took off. I literally had a jack on the car and saw the tow truck drive away. I called the driver to his phone and didn't even answer. Horrible service. read more

I have terrible car karma. I'm always having problems with my cars - so much so that I know most of the tow drivers around town. C & D Towing has towed all 3 of my cars a number of times. They always call me first to confirm my details and they always come quite fast. Today it was Hector who showed up and he was great. I lost my tow hook so he showed me where and how he was gonna get the car up onto the truck. He put cloth towels between the rim and the strap so he wouldn't damage my rims. He was very personable and very funny - and yes, we remembered each other from the many times he has towed my car before. I always have a good experience with these guys. read more

A technician named Stan came to assist me at 10:30 pm. He was very patient, knowledgable and understanding. He tried his best to get the car into a neutral position, but it would not start and he had to use a different kind of towing option. Throughout this ordeal he helped me feel safe, secure and in the hands of a good person who knows what he was doing. The communication from the dispatch was awesome.
