We thought we were well-covered with USAA Roadside Assistance, but after multiple delays from their contracted vendor (Agero) and over 2 hours of waiting, we took the matter into our own hands and reached out to Doug at AA Tech. He was there within minutes, got our spare tire on and proceeded with finding and installing a new full-sized tire. He was both professional and personable. We were on our way home within an hour. My first thought when I think about the tow service that I had from Ron and Jan AAA tech roadside solutions is that they were Angels. I imagine that probably a lot of people think of them that way. I was in Bakersfield towing my boat over the Grapevine and right before I got on the freeway I five north. It sounded like an M80 was going off. Turned out it was my trailer tire. Seemed like a simple fix. I had a spare course, the spare was extremely difficult to 26 years old no sign of anywhere, when Ron inflated it the valvestem went. So grateful that Ron and Jan knew what to do, and he just hustle that 20 foot trailer with my ski boat on it onto his beautifully, well equipped, flatbed trailer, and Syd I will see you at your house and Woodland Hills. What started as a really stressful and honestly scary situation turned into an experience I'm incredibly grateful for. Our truck suddenly lost all engine oil while we were driving on the 5, pulling our trailer with our small children in the car. We were stuck on the side of the freeway, unsure of what to do.
