We thought we were well-covered with USAA Roadside Assistance, but after multiple delays from their contracted vendor (Agero) and over 2 hours of waiting, we took the matter into our own hands and reached out to Doug at AA Tech. He was there within minutes, got our spare tire on and proceeded with finding and installing a new full-sized tire. He was both professional and personable. We were on our way home within an hour. Luckily we found Golden State Tires still open and I called to ask for a tire patch quote and drove over immediately. We were quickly taken care of by Tony. He popped my tire off and told me that he recommends a new tire because he cannot guarantee the patch will be able to fix the hole. (Only because the nail was HUGE). He went and got the price of the new tire and was able to switch out the old one in the span of 10 mins. We were back on the road and overall took less than 20 minutes. I'm assuming we got lucky as they were closing in an hour. My new tire was slightly over inflated so it threw off some of my car sensors but we were able to deflate it when we got home and reset it ourselves. I'm grateful for Golden State Tires and Tony's expertise!!

They love to help all us motorists who start to go up the grade and something goes wrong with your car, which is exactly what happened to us. Our car started shaking and we pulled to the side and called AAA. We got towed to Top of the Vine and were greeted so warmly by Donna. It was close to their closing time on Saturday but they took a Quick Look and ordered parts to start work on it Monday. So Unfortunately we weren't able to get back on the road but my family came and picked us up. Donna even gave us a ride down the street with our luggage to the flying J to sit and wait in their inside waiting area. Donna kept saying how much she values helping people and trying to get people back on the road quickly especially around the holidays. And she was sorry she couldn't get us going that night, we kept saying it was ok we just appreciated her help and kindness. We picked up our car Tuesday and they had a discount if you had AAA so our bill wasn't as bad as we thought. I can't recommend this place enough or speak more highly about Donna and her team. My spare had just been thrown on a few days earlier due to another blown tire. Crystal had my size in stock and said she could change out all my tires on the side of the road!! That was new to me, thought I'd have to get to her. They arrived in ten minutes and got to work. These guys didn't mess around, had all my tires replaced in less than thirty minutes. Turns out all of my tires were old and falling apart, glad I changed them all. It didn't cost me anymore than my local Big O tire store when I bring in the trailer for tires. Only after hooking me up and putting me on the flatbed, and as I was sitting in the cab with the driver, he handed me the phone to his dispatch. The dispatcher said AAA does not cover commercial vehicles. I explained it is not a commercial vehicle. It is my personal daily driver. They then said the van had to be emptied to be towed. I was in Santa Clarita needed to get it to my car alarm installer as I thought the issue was with my aftermarket car alarm not my battery. They charged me $350 to go 25 miles. We called AAA and they said this is not the case. I have filed a complaint with AAA. Screw you, Castaic towing for the predatory practices. Obviously zero stars of available.
