Great tasting box with a good mix of rolls. The food was fresh and packaged really nicely. Easy online ordering system.

Toro toro is a great option for someone looking for à la carte sushi. Their pricing is decent for the premium quality they provide. I would say it's highly worth it for the delicious sushi! The ambiance inside is very hip and easy to order right up front. Highly recommend and I will be coming back here for sure

Came here for lunch. I've been to the Vaughan location before so I knew this one would be bomb as well. Ordered a seared salmon poke bowl , and a roll. Thoroughly enjoyed the poke bowl as usual, a good balance between rice, toppings and sauce ratio. I'll give it to them, their ingredients are fresh! Tasty. Filling. Quality amazing! I would love to try other rolls and items on their menu. Service - quick, friendly, efficient with buzzers if dining in - you'd be able to pick up your food when the buzzer goes off. Ambiance- lots of seating space. Parking for free out front. Modern, chic, and self serve water station. Would highly recommend coming here!!!!

Came here for my bday. The place is designed to be more of a fast food type with a few booth seats and by the window. You order at the front with a QR code menu, lots of staff at the front as well; you get a buzzer piece when food is ready to be picked up. The pokebowl here is pretty great actually compared to other places I've been to. They have pineapples inside this Toro toro bowl one and something pickled, unsure what it was. The seared salmon was not bad, i didn't think it was anything special but I got the non spicy and I was quite full up after. They also don't put too much rice and more toppings which is a huge positive! You'll have to put your tray and plate at the garbage area yourself. Self serve water is also available. I will be coming here again

Always went to the Vaughn location but I'm so glad they opened up another location closer to me. :) I usually get their tasting box for 2 cause there's a good variety of everything. I came during their grand opening and it was my first time trying their poke. Got the Toro Toro & Classic Salmon Poke - fully loaded & did not disappoint! This location is similar to their Vaughn location - more of a take out place with minimal seating. Looking to come back again!

Toro Toro is here in Markham! Heard so many good things in their original location in Vaughan. When I heard it opened, had to come here asap to get some fresh and premium quality sushi. This place is more for pickup and takeout, but it has a comfortable seating space with wooden tables lined up to dine in and enjoy their cozy atmosphere. My takeout order included 1) Toro Toro Poke - this was new to the menu and it did not disappoint! Served with seared salmon with fresh toppings, edamame, and cucumber etc. Rolls 2) The Empress - cooked lobster and shrimp 3) Lava Roll - seared salmon 4) The Hidden Dragon - Fresh Unagi with tamago All the rolls had truly fresh fish, premium feel and had an amazing presentation/ packaging in my takeout box. The Lava roll stood out to me with its perfectly seared salmon and a nice smoky flavour to it. Overall, friendly staff, lot of staff preparing the sushi. This helped as the orders were prepared in a very quick and timely manner. With lots of parking in the plaza as well, I think Toro Toro has been added as a regular takeout sushi spot for the future!

I love sushi, but poke is always a hit or miss for me. Establishments are either too cheap/ quality is not fresh. Prior to trying this place, Cali Love used to be my favourite. Now, Toro Toro just might be new favourite poke place! They have locations all over the GTA! Their new Markham location is located just north west of Hwy 7 and Woodbine. The plaza offers free parking.

The sushi burrito was good. Lots of filling and not too much rice. Will try a poke bowl next time I come. The fresh salmon is delicious and makes me want to eat another roll! Nigiri is a bit pricey at around $7 for 2 pieces. The food comes out quick and staff is friendly. Self serve Freeeeee filtered water and the cups are nice and big. Sitting area and washrooms are nice too!

Location/service This place is located right in the heart of…read moredowntown Markham, right across from the Canada Carousel. Really big sign that you can't miss. Parking is available right by the carousel or you can go underground by the condo complex. Interior is pretty standard. Nice to see that they have tables available for you to dine-in, but I see most are doing to-go, so nice convenience. Staff were friendly and nice to see they are following health and safety quite seriously when assembling the bowls. Food Their food had always been pretty staple, where you can either select a fixed menu setup or build your own poke with a choice of base/protein/toppings. I also like that they have an option to do salad or soba noodles besides rice as the base. I went for the Aloha Honey Ginger Salmon (crab meat slaw * pineapple * seaweed salad * masago) and Mauna Loa Spicy Shoyu Salmon (edamame * spicy cucumbers * spicy seaweed salad * masago) They've got daily specials too, so it's nice you don't have to break the bank. If you need a go-to spot for healthy, filling meals, this is the one!

Ingredients tasted fresh and i honestly enjoyed everything in the bowl and how all the flavours meshed together. It included most of my favourite ingredients for poke bowls! I didn't really like the spicy or pickled? cucumbers however. I'd much rather have it separate as i found it threw off the taste a bit. Still delicious! The portion i found was a bit small. But I'd totally come back!

I first tried it about 8 years ago when they only sold poke bowls. Now they have appetizers (gyoza, karage chicken), specialty drinks and hot dishes such as ramen and beef rice bowls. My favorite has always been the kale noodle salmon poke bowl! I love it so much I asked if I can buy their kale noodle uncooked in bulk. Unfortunately he wouldnt share their supplier name and said they could not sell it to me that way lol. But i did find something similar in the J-town grocery store, just not the same :(. The light sesame dressing , little rice crispies makes the dish. It is served with cherry tomatoes, some sliced cucumbers, pink ginger, edamame beans and corn and of course topped with your favorite sauce. Ive also tried this dish as a rice bowl but prefer the kale noodle as that chew really makes it unique to the Komeya experience. The staff are always so friendly. Highly recommend. Prices have significantly increased over the years.

My daughter has been sharing her fav spots and we are always looking for new spots to try. Komeya came to mind for me to share with her to try out their ramen, which I have never tried before despite getting take out poke bowls for years. We decided to dine in. Warmly greeted by all of the familiar staff that have put our take out orders together and chatted with over the years. I love the cozy set up inside. They have tables and chairs or the window seating with the bar height stools. We ordered both the Miso Ramen and the Shoyu Ramen, Gyoza dumplings and chicken Karaage. The broth was amazing and full of so much flavor. The pork was so tender and all of the ingredients meshed so well with a great balance of vegetables, meat, broth and the noodles. We have already been back 2x. Komeya also has bento boxes, shrimp tempura and a great variety of hot foods, milk teas and cafe items.

Ordered the iced blueberry matcha latte and smoked salmon eggs Benny. The matcha interestingly came in a Sapporo cup lol! Unfortunately the matcha was not that great, didn't really taste the blueberry flavour either. Would skip this.
