Can't believe that this places doesn't have 5 stars across the board. We've been coming here since not long after they opened pretty consistently a few times a month. Everyone is always super nice. The perfect balance of friendly and engaging without being intrusive (looking at you Dutch Bros...). They're good for a quick checkin, maybe a funny punch line and they're out. If you hint at the need for anything it's on your table before you're done speaking. I will say not the cheapest, but not outrageous and the price is certainly reflected in the quality of their ingredients. Really really love the food and the vibe at this place. As an absolute lover of tacos I felt compelled to leave a review. Driving by with many options of food to choose, decided to stop here and grab food. Cute spot for a quick bite. Ordered a burrito and one of their chicken tacos and one of their beef tacos. I have to tell the truth and say this is the most unauthentic un ethnic tacos and burritos I've ever had. Food looks good but the taste is just not there. No mexican soul was put into their food. Couldn't finish any of the food. My family of 5 came here for a quick bite and we were not disappointed. I got their house Margarita and one was all I needed. Their staff was quick, friendly and helpful. The inside was typical of a taco shop but it was clean. The taco presentation wasn't fantastic but the carnitas taco were very good. The ground beef was alright, reminded me of mcormirck ground beef taco seasoning. The fuzzy rice was just ok and I would not get it again. The Salsa and queso dip was good and I liked the seasoning they added to the chips. Good job little taco shop. read more

I haven't tried anything I haven't liked yet. Everything is delicious! Hillbilly Queso is a must. Love the Tipsy Chick Taco with a margarita sangria swirl. I have also tried the Green Chili Pork and Fish Taco which definitely hit the spot. The only problem now is trying to choose what to order. My favorite part of this location is sitting at the bar when Salyna is working. Her knowledge of the history of the restaurant and menu takes the dining experience to the next level. Large menu of taco selection and drinks. Not a huge fan of the tacos to be honest. I like more Mexican style. All the tacos definitely provide a lot of meat and the Queso is good. They also seemed to have a good selection of alcoholic beverages. Customer service was okay. We came up to order and several employees where checking in for their shift. The employees kept moving us back and forth until they finished. The food came out quick though despite an increase in customers. I probably won't be back because it's not my style of tacos but there was a line out the door when we left so maybe it's me. I will be the first to say that I love Torchy's. Unfortunately, this location simply cannot get it right. We were excited to visit this location in September of 23'. After a 45 minute wait, our food arrived cold. Based on the reactions around us, this was a similar experience from others. Knowing they had only been open for 3 months, we took our free taco cards and decided to give them another try. On 12.29, we ordered (7) tacos and waited over an hour. Came here once, nothing to write home about. My mom wanted a togo order so I went and they discontinued their military discount, seriously? Less than 1% serve, removing was more disappointing than never having offered it. The guac was so spicy my mom could not eat it. Brought it back, uneaten and was told I could have another or queso....dairy allergy so not really an option. Tasty good tacos! It's new, it's clean (young men were constantly wiping off tables while i was there) and service was fast. Tacos were very good! Meant to take a picture. If you are starving or have a huge appetite, you'll want 4-6 tacos but if you are just normal hungry, 2-3 tacos seem to be plenty in my opinion. Nice patio area. Will be back! read more

This location only... I LOVE Torchys and I've been the ones in Austin and use to drive out to the PV location off Camelback so I was excited when they opened one 5 min from my house. First, my ears are still ringing from it being so loud. I couldn't even hear the girl when I was ordering. Second, they have been out of churros every time I've gone and out of Barbacoa at times as well. They then brought an order out that wasn't mien and acted like i was wrong and then asked to see my receipt which I was never given. I love this place but my experience at the San Tan location doesn't leave me wanting to go back to this location. It's new but at this point you really shouldn't be running out of things. I've eaten at Torchy's in Texas and this location is not up to par. We waited almost an hour for our food but outside of that we order chips, salsa, and Queso. A runner brought the chips and Queso but no salsa. After waiting 30 minutes we finally grab one of the runners and she was like oh, we're out of that salsa. Sooo no one was going to tell us or deliver it if we didn't ask someone? Once our food came out we were really over it. All of it was cold and there's no way it would have passed any health and safety tests. Also, over half of the fountain drinks were out of order. Needless to say, it's a total crap chute. read more

I like their take on tacos and the different combinations they have. Interior looks clean and nice patio. Even though the tacos are pricey they are huge. As long as they keep portions/price the same I'll come back when the mood strikes. read more
