Every single time I've gone, my food is wrong. We keep trying because our friends like it. Today my burrito was wrong twice, rice was hard and bottom of the pot, only to be told on the third time they don't have the stuff to make it again. I got to watch my family eat once their food was corrected but still cold and sit their starving. Burrito was refunded even though EVERYTHING WAS WRONG. cool. Apparently they only have purées of beans and nothing whole. Manager was nice and tried to fix it but you can only do so much when menu items and what I was getting were completely opposite. Also my first burrito was LITERALLY THREE INCHES LONG and my second was 7. Why would I only get a tiny burrito to begin with? Bartender was nice! I'd like to add. I'm not picky. I never want to be an inconvenience to anyone. I'd eat my food off the floor before I ask for another one. But this place is diarrhea. We need friends with better taste. read more

Just drive the 1 mile to Fuzzy's, it's cheaper, with more food and you don't get half cooked fish. My wife was grossed out. Legit their queso is awesome though. read more

I liked the atmosphere and the service was pretty quick. I didn't however think the tacos were worth the price. especially the kids. The kids meal didn't include a drink and was like $4 for one taco which really wasn't anything special. That was pretty ridiculous. The cowboy queso and salsa was good but the chips were not. Not sure if I got an almost stale batch but either way they were no good. Definitely not a place I will return to with my family because of the price but seems like it still might not be a terrible place to visit on date night or with friends. read more

This is my favorite place to eat! Although, they just got a new manager, and the service has gone downhill.

After waiting 40 minutes they messed up three of my tacos and forgot one all together. With covid-19 going on they have a limit as to who can be inside. I was inside well before many people and they kicked me to wait outside mind you the feels like is 45. Their phone lines are down so they aren't taking calls to let us know when the food is ready. Food is decent but the business practice of calculating tip rates with sales tax included is deplorable. Based on a 15% tip rate they add about 1.22% to their bottom line for each dollar spent by calculating the total tip based on the total of the price and tax instead calculated just on the price. read more

I'd really love to try their food, however the two times I've been in there and sat at bar it has been a disaster. Once we ordered but 30 mins later they told us they forgot. Didn't apologize, so we just left. Went in there today for lunch. Bartender came by and gave us menus. He never returned. He went to the other side of bar which is walled off and you can't see. This place was amazing from the time I walked in until I left. The customer service was great, the atmosphere was laid back and clean. The food was amazing, hot and fresh. The flavor was fantastic. I love this place and I'm mad I didn't try it sooner! I have been craving it since I went and I can't wait to go back and try more things. I got 2 baja shrimp tacos and the green chile queso dip with chips. So delicious! Best queso I have ever tried hands down. Next time I want to try the salmon taco and the tuna tacos. The food is excellent. We began going to Torchy's due to some health issues that Torchy's focus on organic foods addressed. I would give five stars, but they replaced the sodas in the fountain that were cane sugar to standard Coke, Dr Pepper, etc that are all made with corn syrup. They still have some cane sugar sodas behind the counter, but you have to ask for them and they are more expensive. Management did their best by comping the soda, but it is still disappointing. read more

We've been ordering the family packs from torchys since everything shut down and they started offering them at least once a week. They have now decided to up the price by $5.00 to add in their nasty ass prepackaged brownies. They refuse to omit them off the package you're just forced to blow $5.00 to throw them in the trash. Love me some Torchys. My wife and I go here all the time. Chips and salsa are great. I am a sucker for breakfast tacos and the "wrangler" with brisket is my standard order. We have never had a bad taco at Torchys. Their drinks are Maine root sodas which are a nice change from Coke and Pepsi products. read more

Really liked eating here for about the first year it was in operation. Went almost once a week for a while. However in the last 6 months (started before the pandemic), the service has become awful. Food is still good, but it's rare you'll get it timely or without lots of attitude. We actually now drive past this location to go to the North Penn one, even though it's adding about 15 mins drive time. read more

This place always delivers decent tacos with great service on every visit. The tuna is cooked to perfection-totally worth the price. The sodas we chose are from Maine brewing and offer a nice change from the standard fare. My barbacoa tacos were seasoned perfect, naturally I had to request zero cilantro as I am highly allergic to that vile weed. The only reason Torchy's didn't get one star is because the food is good. The good food, however, is eclipsed by the poor service. My wife loves their food so I keep giving them second chances. There is no effort being made to insure orders go out correctly. We consistently find incomplete or incorrect orders. This most recent incident occurred when I called the store about my incorrect carry out order. The manager flat out told me that they don't honor certain options that the website offers. If that's the case, maybe they should fix the website. Assuming the website is a company wise asset from which individual stores' menus occasionally deviate, maybe the store should warn you of the discrepancy when you pick up the order. The store manager was polite, but not accommodating or flexible in any way other than refunding my money for the single item that was left out of this order. The store has become incredibly skimpy on salsa. Even though the website suggests you may choose more than one salsa per taco, you are now allowed only one salsa per taco for most tacos. Some tacos don't come with salsa at all. Extra salsa costs 25 cents per container. Fine. Whatever. I'll pay extra for salsa. Of course I only learn this after I get home with $45 worth of food with which I received 6 tiny half full containers of salsa. If I'm paying $45 for tacos, I can probably afford a couple of extra bucks. Just charge me for the damn salsa and give me what I ordered! It's not rocket science! If you can't fulfill my order, how about a little communication, Torchy's? You have my phone number and email address. How about using it, if necessary, to be sure you get my order correct. My family and friends come here very often. Don't get me wrong, I love this place but I am SO disappointed with the service I received (on May 31 for reference). It was my fiancé's birthday, and our family went to Torchy's to celebrate. At first, we sat at the bar. We had a few drinks and once his sister (who is under 21) arrived, we moved to a table. When we did that, our server (who was the bar tender) brought us our check after we finished eating. I thought this was very kind and so when I went to pay, I didn't want her to have to leave the bar again to get our payment, so I walked up to the bar to hand it to her. She didn't see me at first, so I walked around and went to reach and give it to her again, when I did this, another bartender (not ours we were paying) looked me dead in the eye, gave me a face, and looked back at our bartender (still facing me) and said to her "what the f*ck" can't just wait??" It was SO INSANELY rude. I am still in shock. We were considering having Torchy's cater our wedding, now I refuse. I have told everybody about this experience and would suggest going to the other Torchy's location or SERIOUSLY avoiding the bar and the thin bartender with black hair and glasses. She should be removed from customer service because employees like that make awesome businesses go out of business. read more

Everything was fabulous! This was our first time eating at Torchy's Tacos. The cashier was super helpful and friendly. The food was fresh, fast and hot. The restaurant was clean and was a nice atmosphere. We ordered hillbilly queso, guacamole, the American taco (my personal favorite), the trailer park taco, and the chicken fajita taco. The food, atmosphere, and service has always been amazing in my experiences! Their guacamole and queso are both some of the best I've ever had. I always get the Democrat taco--it is awesome! The tacos are a pretty decent size, big enough that you can usually get away with just ordering one. The food always comes out pretty fast and this location has a nice outdoor patio. I am constantly craving Torchy's...so much better than Fuzzy's! read more
