I came here with my whole family to grab some late lunch. I was very happy that they had seating so we could push some tables together to accommodate all of us. I ordered the Grande Burrito with no beans (not a fan), a small Hillbilly Queso, and a drink. The Hillbilly Queso is delicious! It's kind of a loaded queso and I could eat an entire giant bowl of it. The chips are thin, but crunchy enough to hold the queso and make each bite satisfying. I got a Cherry Coke (self serve) and it was well carbonated and delicious. I rarely see Cherry Coke on a fountain, so that was a treat! Now onto the Grande Burrito...it was mid at best. When I bit into it, I was confused at the flavor bc it didn't taste like what I was expecting. I think it was some kind of guacamole or something, but it wasn't great. I made myself eat half of the burrito and then I pulled it open and just ate the steak out of it. The balance of flavors was off. I will say that the side of the burrito felt like a good bang for the buck, but taste wise, it left a lot to be desired. Overall, this place is a decent quick grab, but it is a bit pricey for a taco joint. If you want some good chips and queso with a Cherry Coke, this is the place for you! Just want to give people a heads up- they have roaches. An employee told me they've gotten the place bombed but they keep coming back.

Always weird when there is a self order kiosk and they want to add automatic tips. The portions are very small for a $8 taco. The tater tots were mushy and soft, but the churros were exceptionally good and flaky. I only ate one taco, but our bill was over $60 for the four of us. I walked into this location just now to a the bartender behind the bar straightening her hair with a plugged in hair straightener. I don't know about you but every time I straighten my hair, my sink is full of hair. That is disgusting for her to be doing that behind the bar. I get behind a lady standing at the front and she says she's been waiting 10 minutes and not one person has came to help her. We see a girl sit down to eat, and the lady in front of me walked over there to the girl eating and says that there's nobody work in the front and she needs help. I DoorDash and the girl told me my DoorDash was not ready yet because it would be on the shelf. Nothing was on the shelf so I stood there waiting. Another girl comes up and ask the name on the DoorDash. I tell her and then she says it's behind the bar. The girl behind the bar said she didn't know it was there and she's sorry. Oh my goodness, I had never been to a fast food taco place that I loved. Torchys changed that! I'm in town visiting for OK State University and got a recommendation by word of mouth for Torchys. Reluctantly, I agreed to go and was not disappointed. The cashier was patient with us, being our first time, and he was very friendly. As a vegetarian, their tacos were delicious and had many options. The chips and queso were spectacular but my personal favorite was the friend avocado taco. There are some things I really look for when I walk into a restaurant. Obviously, the atmosphere will jump right out at you, but the other thing is cleanliness. Torchy's had both well in hand. Impressed more so recently than prior years with this location! I haven't had any complaints in years past, but in our most recent visit the food and service was exceptional! I brought 3 friends who had never had torchy's (it's one of my favorites) we had a terrible time food was awful chips way too salty. It also took 45 minutes for our food and I asked about it twice then they stated they didn't know who the food belonged to ( we were the only people in the restaurant) I didn't write a review then because mistakes happen. Now I come in today the lady behind the register was very rude and condescending toward me and my girlfriend. I then was upset the Republican changed from the sausage and she said we just don't have it any more with a rude attitude. This variation of queso is based off the chain's green chili queso. The difference is the addition of chorizo. If you are unaware, chorizo is a type of spicy sausage. I know your name is Torchy's but is your food supposed to be so spicy normal people can't eat it. It's not a hot wing show. Why are you testing people's capacity for eating the fires of Hell? I realllllyyyy want to give a better rating for them but I can't. Recently I went to the location on Penn and it wasn't too bad but it wasn't great either. The entry line was short which was great but once we sat down it was about 20 or more minutes that we waited for our food. Our food wasn't complicated and not bountiful either however it seemed that it's still going through the growing pains of opening a new location/restaurant. Once the food was dropped of fit tasted great, looked amazing, and the cost of it was well worth it.
