Delicious homemade flour tortillas! Complementary tortilla chips with queso and salsa. Chicken fajitas were tender and tasty. The shredded beef Chile Relleno - roasted poblano pepper stuffed with tasty shredded beef fried in an egg batter fried a crisp golden brown- very good. The pork tamale was disappointing, the masa was very bland and the shredded pork was very mushy. Best friendly customer service.. read more

Food is good but my order is never correct. I tried it on 3 occasions and had to request the correction, which still came back incorrect

I had Alfredo's do a catering order and it was spectacular! I highly recommend using them for small medium and large gatherings. I also enjoy eating at any of the locations! Their spinach enchiladas are 100%! read more

Door dashed; food was COLD when it finally arrived. Fries were bland and soggy. No utensils in bag.

I'm very glad to see that others have had the same similar experience as me with the quality of the food. I have visited Alfredo's for a very long time, including locations that are no longer open. This is the location closest to my house and I must say that my last time visiting will probably be the last time I ever visit any Alfredo's restaurant. Three times ago my mother and I visited and the food was so bland and had no seasoning that we could not enjoy our food. I was told that because I ordered impossible meat that they do not season it. My mother had real ground beef and her food had no flavor either. She was not able to eat the food which looked like slop and when we spoke to the manager on duty, she responded by saying that everyone else in the restaurant like their food so she doesn't think there is anything wrong with my mom's food. My mom essentially paid for food that had no flavor at all and that she could not eat. The same manager gave us two free entrée coupons for future visits. On my next visit, I decided to use one of my free food coupons. This is literally the only reason I went because I had the coupon. I ordered the shrimp fajitas that were so burnt that even the waiter was shocked and sent it back before I could even fully expressed to him how burnt my food was. They lacked flavor, but it was not nearly as bad as the lack of flavor during my first visit. I went again yesterday to redeem another free food coupon. I ordered the shrimp fajitas again and this time they came out and they were not sizzling, they were very warm and it was way less shrimp than they had given us my previous trip. The queso that they give you had large clumps of cheese in it that was not melted and overall the food just taste like bottom of the barrel food. Tge sopapilla itself was warm and freshly made. However, the glaze is so watery and thin that it doesn't even stick to the bread. Most of it just pools around on the plate. I've decided that I will never pay a dime to eat here again and would literally rather eat fast food. read more

I have eaten at and gotten takeout food from Alfredo's for 10 or more years. Obviously it was good enough for my repeat business on a regular basis. But this time I didn't get any ground beef for my tacos. I live several miles from the restaurant so it is definitely a hassle but when I called to report the mistake, I was basically called a liar. The same person who waited on me insisted that he personally packed the bag and that he put the ground beef in. He would not admit that there could have been a mistake. He did tell me that if I returned to the restaurant that he would give me an "additional amount " of ground beef, but repeatedly insisted that the beef was put in the bag. I couldn't take it any further and hung up totally dissatisfied. I will not ever again give them my business. My advice... check your takeout order before you leave the restaurant. I will from now on I will. P. S. We are now frying up ground beef that we got at Braums to go with my cold dinner. read more

The food is totally bland. The refied beans were like water down paste. Got chicken and beef fajitas, totally bland too. No seasoning. Looks like they would marinate or season. read more

Foods gone downhill. Just meh. Used to be great. Service was great though. Probably won't be back.

The staff treated my family like VIP. JJ did a fabulous job in my opinion. Make sure you have the peppers & onions.... The bite size sopapillia (family friendly) yes please!. In my opinion prices are right and portions are very generous. I have a Togo box with a majority of my entree... Thanks for being awesome. Every time! Spoke with a manager and shared our fantastic experience with him.... We will return! Our first time ever eating at this restaurant and it was a very lack luster experience. I'm not sure how else to describe the food other than white washed "Mexican" food. Everything was lacking basic seasoning and spice. The yellow cheese dip they bring to the table was watery and didn't taste like much of anything. The steak in my quesadilla was very soft but again lacked seasoning. It was the first place we suggested to eat to my father in law based on other people's reviews.. it was embarrassing that his first meal in Oklahoma was this. The complimentary salsa was my favorite thing.. but a lot of places have great salsa. I don't see myself or my family returning to Alfredo's for a meal anytime soon. I will say this, our waitress was very kind and sweet. She was mindful of refilling our drinks and was friendly with our 2 1/2 year old! read more

This is the second time I've eaten here, it's a good stop when I'm in the area for work. The only reason I walked in (both times) is due to the long lines of a restaurant around the corner. They aren't usually super busy at lunch and ALWAYS have tables open. The service is always amazing and super quick. Their menu is huge and has something for everyone, including a great lunch menu for a good price. Their chips and queso (which comes with the meal) are bomb, food is always extremely fast and delicious, and portions are very large. Great spot, highly recommend. read more

Alfredo's hits the spot every time! Great Tex Mex food with a few bonus items that you can't get at every Mexican restaurant. Don't miss their corn salsa and their glazed sopapillas. Scrumptious! read more

Not the best but it was good. Highly recommend the shrimp tacos!! They were delicious. Food was good though. Service was alright; not the quickest or most efficient but definitely had worse. Would not recommend lunch salad as it was literally a side of lettuce, tomato, and cheese that you would use as condiments for your food. Chicken chimichanga was good as well, liked the cheese sauce. Again the experience was alright but not rushing to return. read more

The service was good and our food came out quick. The food is very bland here and I would hesitate coming back.

Good and drinks were awesome. Service was great as well. We came here on national margarita day and they had promos going on. Our waiter was funny and quick with everything even though they were pretty busy! We will definitely be coming back! read more

We've been eating at Alfredo's for years and it was one of the more consistent restaurants we've encountered. During Covid 19, our trips there were some of the best Tex-Mex we've ever had. Simply astounding in every way. The last three visits have been progressively worse, as far as the quality of the food. The last time we visited, my wife's shrimp quesadilla and my shrimp taco were completely bland. It was like they simply boiled some shrimp and prepared the dishes with that shrimp, rather than the seasoned and grilled shrimp we usually find on those items. Today was even worse, my chicken chimichanga contained plain, unseasoned chicken & cheese. Completely and totally bland. This was new item for me, so maybe that's the way it's supposed to be, but I won't be getting it again and I wouldn't recommend it. My wife got the asada especial and it was anemic looking and tasting and her bean side dish was completely undercooked. I've included a photo of the avocado slices that came with her meal. One thing that has been consistent in all of our visits to Alfredos is the margarita. Consistently excellent and the best I've ever had, anywhere. So, if you choose to eat the Edmond Alfredo's, you may get one of the better Tex-Mex meals you've ever had, or you may get one of the blandest, unappetizing meals you've ever had. It seems to be a crapshoot here. I do feel safe in saying you WILL get a good margarita! read more

Excellent food, great service, fun place. The flour tortillas are awesome but the sopapillas with glazed are legendary.

Came for a quick bite to eat and did not disappoint, right when I walked in I was greeted and seated within seconds. Staff is wearing mask and guest are required to wear them as well. Now back to the good stuff... our waitress was AMAZING!! I didn't catch her name but she never let our drinks go empty and always had fresh tortillas coming. When we ordered our food it came within 10 minutes, fresh and hot. I noticed how tentative the staff and management is there constantly checking on customers and asking how there liking the food. And to top off lunch they offered Sopaipilla either glazed or cinnamon sugar, either one you cannot go wrong. For it being the lunch rush we were in and out in less than an hour. Definitely will be back!!! read more

We just left this truly disgusting, dirty, greasy place. We recieved our meal approximately 45 mins after ordering. My water had dishwashing detergent still in it !!! The food......well. besides not the way it was ordered was less than previous visits. I spoke with the "manager" (cuisuu?)... I asked why the busboys were serving food after clearing tables and she told me they were not suppose to until they washed their hands. They clearly were serving food. I asked her to turn around and tell me why the table across from me had a set up on it while there were dirty dishes still on it? No answer... I asked why the floors were greasy? No answer...I watched as she hurried back over to the other side of the restaurant ,, Where she was SERVING !! She almost slipped and fell as she went around the drink area (GREASE!!)...This establishment was closed for the weeekend just a few days ago... I no longer wonder why.. It used to be a restaurant to take visitors from out of town,,, I'm saddened that this has happened to what was a really great place. We will be frequenting the establishment next door,, they are still the aspired standard !! read more

I really want to like this place because of its proximity to something I am near multiple times a week and because my family and I love Mexican food. Last time I was there, as always the host experience is less than desired but the service this time was top notch. Food is ok but extremely over priced for what it is. There are too many other options in town to be over priced and not top notch. read more

Our table service was just fine, but our food was singularly uniform and boring. (Let's face it -- the best Tex Mex you ever ate wasn't that much better than the worst Tex Mex you ever ate. Be honest.) I ordered a chicken-stuffed chile relleno while my husband had an avocado-stuffed enchilada dinner. Both of us were satisfied, but hardly what you'd call thrilled. Meh. Parking was tight outside. Our waiter was nice and efficient. read more

This is a place we've visited a few times and have loved it. Not Tonight! We received awful service! It was not busy. We asked for tortilla twice, and did not get them. We waiting almost 40 minutes and had not received our food. During this time, a table walked in after us, ordered and received their food before us. (Pretty sure the server forgot to Put our food order in) As someone who has worked in the food industry in the past and for years, this is completely unacceptable! read more

I ordered lunch around 3:00 sitting in the salon around the corner. Alfredos had it ready by 3:30 and I walked in to pick up since we were in an Uber. I grabbed the lunch Taco salad with beef and beans. All the ingredients were nicely assembled and the fajita meat was tender and well seasoned. We order two kids meals, one tamale and one chicken tenders, and the kids didn't leave anything behind. Our lunch came with chips, cheese, and salsa. I also ordered 18 flour tortillas, 6oz of green salsa, amelias queso, and an additional salsa. We are pairing that with our Gulf Coast Shrimp from Sprouts for dinner to make tacos of our own. The salsa is decent but we like to mix it with the green sauce to build a hotter salsa. The cheese sauce is perfect for the kids and the adults eat the Queso. So, for about $40+gratuity we enjoyed a nice lunch and a large pairing of salsa, cheese, and tortillas to complete an easy-peasy dinner after a long hard day of Christmas shopping. read more

I love it I eat here at least once a week their queso is amazing most definitely getting some this weekend

Alfredo's is typically decent for dine in. Weve had a handful of "off" experiences, but the average is ok. Have gotten several delivery orders and a curbside order since the pandemic and the quality and service have utterly tanked. The last delivery seemed like they went out of their way to screw up the order. I marked gluten-free preparation all over the order and specified corn tortillas - on a dish that ALREADY COMES with corn tortillas. I have celiac disease and don't choose GF because its trendy. On my second taco, I find they've used a flour tortilla! That is literally more work than making them both corn!!! I was very sick later that night. I shouldn't have to be in the restaurant to get what I order. They have only gotten one order right out of MANY. read more

Don't go here unless you want slimy food. Ordered a chimichanga that was cold in the middle. Asked for no tomatoes, there was tomatoes littered in the whole thing. Their sour cream is served hot (?). Queso is slimy. The only redeeming quality was the mints they serve on the way out. read more

Okay let me start off. They charged me extra for a duplicate order for tacos. Ummm it's tacos it's not expensive. Rip off. My husband who is Hispanic said the meat was extremely salty. Not good. Had stopped going due to food quality issues and really poor service. We went back to see how things would be now. The service was ok. It was not fantastic, but was a big improvement over the last few visits. The food was the biggest issue. The seasonings were lacking. The food was bland and underwhelming. I asked for their spicy salsa. What I received was a little spicy, but was not salsa. It was an odd colored dip that had an aftertaste like it was past its prime. Learned my lesson, as this place is for people to be seen or get Charlestons overflow. Edmond has too many other options, I would suggest steering clear. read more

Hello Alfredo's Team! I just wanna let you know that I am always extremely satisfied with the quality of the food and the service! We always get treated kindly. Managers make you feel like a family when they come talk to you and so are the servers. They really take good care of your demands as a customer. Especially when you have questions or allergic to specific food ingredients, they are very informative, patient and helpful. We appreciate the extra effort the staff make to meet the needs of every customer. Silvia is so professional, very accommodating. We've known her all these years. And Kayzel, she's quite new to us but is also very professional and enjoys what she does. We love Alfredo's. We will always make sure we always find time to come visit. Great team! We understand the stress and thank you for handling it so well. read more

I don't often give 5-stars, but Alfredo's is a 5-star experience. Their service is amazing. Great positive atmosphere with great tasting food. The servers seem truly happy to work there and glad you came. My favorite meal is the guizo especial. It's like fajitas on a piping hot cast-iron serving plate with two over easy eggs on tops. Great stuff! Get the complimentary glazed soppapillas when done. So good! If we can't decide where to go.... My vote is always Alfredo's! Alfredo's is the best Tex-mex in Oklahoma City! read more

Alfredo's Mexican Cafe - Guizo especial! My favorite.. - Mexican Near Me - Edmond, Oklahoma

The worst Mexican food experience I have had in a long time. Issues include... 1. Terrible margaritas - Way too weak and sweet. 2. Terrible service - Our server spoke very poor English, which meant we could not really ask questions about the food, and all of our orders came out wrong in some way. 3. Below average food - From the watery, gelatinous queso, to the clearly frozen to microwaved food, it was consistently bad. 4. Lack of pride in basic things - They brought us corn dogs and chicken strips for our kids that were seriously burned. I am not talking a bit over cooked. I am talking charred black. I don't know how long you have to leave things in a fryer to get them to look like that BUT the real issue is that multiple people (at the very least, the cook and our waitress) thought that was OK to put on a plate and bring to a customer. OKC has to have better to offer than this. read more
