This restaurant was located relatively close to the hotel we were staying at so we stopped by to check it out. We were seated quickly and got waters and chips with salsa. Impressed that each person at the table got their own salsa. That's a great touch. We then ordered our entrees which were the #4 Quesabirria, the #10 Burrito Los Aztecas Chicken and two street Carne Asada tacos. The staff was nice and the food was delicious. The food was served quickly and hot. I didn't get beans with my Quesabirria but I ate someone else's and it was delightful. Portion sizes were large. Lunch it is! This restaurant is located close to our hotel so it was a great place to try. We ordered the Quesabirria, the Burrito Los Aztecaa Chicken and the two street tacos both carne asada with no onions. Surprised they did not offer horchata. Water it is. All of the food was good. The Quesabirria for some reason was hard to chew and swallow, maybe too much cheese. Really can't pinpoint the reason. Staff was super nice and the restaurant was nice, large and clean. read more

I feel like some of the other reviewers must have eaten at a different restaurant. This was by far the best Mexican food experience in Choctaw in a long time. It was super clean, bright, and friendly! The servers were in high gear and checking on everyone, even with a giant rush from a local ballgame. I had the cheese enchiladas and cleaned my plate for the first time in forever. The rice and beans were even super flavorful! Our chips and salsa never ran low either. Like any good Oklahoman, my family is always here for Tex-Mex. When this restaurant opened near our home, we were excited for another option so close to us and had high hopes for a new regular place. However, with several other Mexican places already solidified in our tastebud memory, this one fell short. Pro: homemade tortillas were really delicious. Con: we paid $5.50 for a small cup of white queso to accommodate said tortillas. It would be great if the cheese were complimentary or at least a better serving size for the price. Pro: they have an extensive a la carte menu. Con: even trying to be budget-conscious and ordering off of said menu, our single items still totaled $60 for mediocre food. Pro: the kids who don't eat Mexican food said their typical chicken strips were good. Con: those of us who love fajita chicken were disappointed in the blandness and chewiness of the meat in our enchilada. All this being said, we will likely choose Arroyo's or Los Vaqueros from now on. read more

So happy to try this new spot for ourselves, after hearing lots of varied chatter on local Facebook pages. Clean and bright interior, super friendly service (so great), delicious meal. I had a steak fajita taco salad. Dove in and devoured it, haha, forgot to snap a photo! Delicious. Plenty of meat and veggies, freshly grilled, good amount of salad (not particularly big or unique, but flavorful). I sampled my husband's plain cheese enchilada and couldn't believe how much flavor it had, so I'll be trying one of the enchilada plates for myself soon. Huge menu, dozens of tempting choices. I hope the waitstaff is well compensated. They worked hard to keep a busy dining room happy! read more

Our family favorite. The staff is always friendly and greets us by name ( maybe we come too often) I never fail to order the street tacos (carnitas) and a house margarita. We had heard mixed reviews on this restaurant in Choctaw. Some people were raving about it, and some were saying it was so so. I would say our experience was one of mixed reviews too. The starters (tortillas, chips, salsa and queso) were all very good. We enjoyed that part of our meal a good deal. The entrees on the other hand were just mid, nothing really stood out as being really flavorful. Service was pretty friendly, but also slow. We weren't in a rush, so that didn't really bother us. My go to for Mexican food! The white queso is very tasty, and not watered down. Full of flavor and a slight kick of spice. I love their beef enchiladas-I get queso on top and it's just perfect! I have a hard time finding it like this many other places. Be sure to try the Pina colada on the rocks, such a great drink option along with their margaritas. The service is always exceptional. We came here for dinner. They've been open abt 4 months and they know what they're doing! I was so hungry and the food did not disappoint. So hungry that I forgot to take a pic of our food. They serve chips, salsa and homemade tortillas to start out. You can also ask for white queso and guacamole but cost a little extra. Worth it! Very tasty. They have all your typical Mexican dishes from classic burritos to combo plates to other traditional faves like carnitas and chile Colorado. The nicest part of our meal was the service. Blood related or not the staff there seems like family. Everyone treated us with kindness and warmth. I was tickled when a young man came to our table to ask if we were doing alright and to see if we needed anything. He spoke with such professionalism and seemed delighted to engage with the customers. True ownership in training I will be recommending this new establishment to family n friends. Food was ok at best other than the fajita steak which was good. Salsa tasted like it was from a jar, chips were hard. My wife ordered a chalupa what they sent was a tostada. When we questioned it they said they didn't know but others have said the same thing....??? Date night with my wife was a let down because of the food. Service was good. The shrimp and chicken were both cooked perfectly, which was the only redeeming thing about the meal, but neither had any seasoning whatsoever and the pineapple was canned pineapple rings. My wife and I stopped by on a Sunday evening and were happy to see they were open late. We started with fresh guacamole and spent plenty of time looking over a quite diverse menu. My wife chose the Tricolor (enchilada, chile relleno and burrito covered by green, white and red sauces. It was a delicious variety platter! I ordered carnitas and they served a large portion of very tasty pork with jalapeños, guacamole and a small salad. Both dishes were served with rice and beans. The flour tortillas appeared to be homemade and were very good. We ordered only water to go with our meal but they had a variety of sodas, beer and margaritas available. First off the AC is out it's 91 degrees outside and the freaking AC is out. Second off no utensils or napkins were out on the table we literally had to beg for them. She. Food came out several of the folks at our tables food was wrong. One they forgot to take his order. I had the seafood fajitas and they were flavorless the onions had great flavor and the scallops the rest tasted like burnt food. The free salsa tastes like Marinara sauce with cilantro added in. First and last time trying this place out. So disappointed. Chips were good, salsa was average and the white queso was overpriced for the amount. I wasn't real hungry so I ordered a cheese enchilada ala carte with a side if pico. The cheese inside the corn tortilla was like a cheese stick. It wasn't melted at all. Overall it was very bland. My husband ordered the fajita burrito and said it was okay. Nothing special about it but not bad. My best friend ordered the chicken fajita enchiladas with sour cream sauce. Right away we could tell the sour cream sauce was not right. It was thick like paste and tasted like flour rather than sour cream. Her enchiladas was supposed to have onions and tomatoes in it but it was only filled with chicken that tasted like greasy fried chicken. The refried beans were below average but the rice was okay.
