I ordered the shredded beef chimichanga with refried beans and rice. It was excellent. It included sides of guacamole and sour cream. The only thing that was a touch annoying was the incredibly small bowls used for queso and salsa. You had to break the chips to incredibly small sizes so that they could fit into the bowl to get the salsa and queso on the chips. Please obtain larger bowls for that. read more

This is a nice little restaurant we found while out running errands the other day. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted and advised we could sit anywhere and our server came over as we were sitting down and took our drink order as chips with salsa and queso were brought out to us. The chips tasted a bit old, but the salsa was nice and as we were munching on the chips, our server, Aubree, brought out our margaritas...to my utter delight, I found I had been served one of the best Strawberry-Watermelon Margaritas I had ever tasted! made by Aubree herself! We then both ordered the Alambres plate (akin to a fajita plate with bacon pieces but no bell peppers) which came out after a reasonable amount of time and they were delicious also. I did also try the jalapeño fries which I highly recommend! The fries had a sauce with them that tasted very close to Cane's sauce...yummy! Restaurant appeared clean. They had several TVs up and football games on. Waitstaff was nice. Drinks, chips, salsa and queso were brought quickly. Food was hot but just ok. The prices were higher than most Mexican restaurants. We paid $8.99 for ONE taco (what was supposed to be a street taco but was a small tortilla with shredded chicken), $7.99 for a kids meal and $15.99 for a quesadilla with rice and beans. Ordered the fajita and enchilada family pack for a luncheon with our boss on her last day. Unpacked the food and there are no fixings for the fajitas, no guacamole, no sour cream, no cheese??? So I call the restaurant thinking it must have been a mistake but am told they don't provide the fixings with family packs. Horrible service. Business is booming for Arroyos at their new location. Friendly and helpful servers helped us make the right choice when ordering. We ended up getting the family pack of street tacos, which has 16 tacos, plenty for 4-5 people. We ordered several of each of the five meats offered for our street tacos. All were good, but carne asada and carnitas were my favorite. We ordered to go, but I look forward to dining in soon to try some of their other dishes. I don't like writing negative reviews of small businesses but this was a bad experience. We heard good things, and we had a gift card so we figured we'd give it a go. The place was packed, good sign! We were seated within 5 minutes, chips & salsa delivered, great start. All downhill from there. We sat and sat and sat. No server came by for more nearly 35 minutes. There were 3 servers that were either ducking into the kitchen or huddled around the register. You could see the frustration on the faces of many patrons. Finally we were blessed with a server and asked if we'd like drinks. At this point I had a bad vibe so I just got waters. Before our server could dash off we told her we were ready to order. By this point the place cleared out. It was barely half full. Most folks seemed to be waiting for their tickets. We were waiting for food. We continued to wait for another 20-25 minutes. Nearly an hour after being seated one plate arrived. When that one was half way consumed, mine came out. I wasn't expecting much and was completely underwhelmed. The food is super bland. To top it off they couldn't figure out how to run the gift card, so I had to pay cash for an experience that I felt was barely deserving of the gift card. Needless to say, I won't go back. There is another fantastic Mexican joint near but that has amazing service and fantastic food. Too many options to waste money at Arroyos. Anyone want to buy a gift card, cheap? read more

Saturday visit. Late lunch or earlier dinner (around 4:00) so there weren't many people dining when we arrived. We took our time ordering while enjoying a very tasty margarita. Kaiya waited on us and was great--attentive but not intrusive and very helpful and pleasant. The chips and salsa are the barometer of any Tex-Mex or Mexican restaurant and Arroyos are good. They even serve little bowls of queso that is really good as well. Order the house salsa if you want another option that is more jalapeño and this a little spicier. The Tavo dinner and Alhambra were our dishes. Both were good but the Tavo is out of this world good. So much flavor and so much heat. A very great place to eat Mexican food in Harrah. My favorite is the chimichanga, but my wife always gets the enchiladas.

We split the Asada Fries and it was the right amount for a light meal, added a house margarita and both were very satisfying. Service was quick and very friendly, will definitely go back and try different items on the menu. read more

I think the food is really good here, my favorites are the pork chile Verde, chile relleno, gorditas and tacos.. rice is good too.. the reason I'm giving it three stars is because they've gone way up on their prices. One day I went and split nachos with a friend and my nephew had taquitos or flautas. We had three drinks and almost.$40 after tip and tax. I went one more time after that my sister and I split a meal and each had a margarita and we each paid 20 bucks. One taco is $7.99. I don't get it, I go to Taqueria's in the city and you pay $2.49 a taco and they're delicious.
