The service is impressively speedy. It felt like we had just sat down at a table when our food was ready to pickup. The inside reminded me of a fun, punchy beach hot spot. Colors everywhere, lots of opened seating to choose from. Service was incredibly fast, and prices were great here! Ordered a burrito for the boyfriend, and a burrito bowl for myself and the food was out almost immediately. We also got some chips and guac to go, and they were super generous with the chips they gave. Chips were spiced nicely, and were nice and crispy throughout. Guac was honestly, pretty great too. The burrito bowl and the burritos they had were great too! I got the steak and the meat was seasoned so well - so food wise, they've got you covered. We've eaten at Fuzzy's Taco Shop on Bryant Avenue in Edmond, OK many times and have always enjoyed it. But today we had an exceptional meal, with incredible service from Nickolas and his staff. They were very friendly and attentive to us and the many other guests dining there, including opening the door for a Senior guest leaving with her goodies. We enjoyed the Birria Tacos and the Grilled Shrimp Tacos, along with each of the two different kinds of beans and rice that come with the Taco Plates, everything was Delicious!! And with the Happy Hour Prices and Taco Tuesday Prices, it was quite a Deal!! My Husband is originally from New Zealand and did not grow up with Mexican/Baja style food like we Americans have, and he is very particular with what he actually likes when it comes to Mexican food, and he loves this place! We were staying in Edmond while attending an event and decided to try out Fuzzy's Taco Shop. The service was fast, reasonable in price, fresh and flavorful. We had grilled vegetable tacos and sweet tea. The facility is clean and has a lot of TV's on the walls. We also enjoyed the decor. The staff members were personable and thanked the us for coming into the business. We plan to return soon in the future. The parking lot also has disability parking nearby. read more

First off, I've eaten at several fuzzy's locations in Dallas and Oklahoma. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan. I've always gone to these restaurants because it's been someone else's choice that I've been dining with. I don't think Fuzzy's is bad, it's just not as good as the other options around this part of the country.... Especially down in Texas. This particular Fuzzy's, however, really surprised me. The inside of the restaurant is really interesting and well decorated, with TVs all over the place. Some of us shared chicken nachos that, well I did not taste them, looked unbelievable. I am visiting a friend (who also happens to be a new fellow Yelp Elite) in Oklahoma, and after my plane ride I was starving! There are no Del Tacos in the immediate area (that we know of), so he suggested this place. I was pleasantly surprised that they served breakfast all day... and on top of that, they have a full bar! While deciding on what to get, I noticed a wide variety of taco options. I ultimately didn't get one, but it's always nice to see a lot of options. The line was relatively short, so I didn't have too much time to decide, but I went with the huevos rancheros and a fuzzy rita, which is just the frozen house margarita. I decided to get it with mango flavoring. I am very used to the huevos rancheros from District Taco, so it was nice to have a change. The most prominent differences were 1) The egg was runnier than I'm used to, but not runny to the point where I didn't enjoy it, and 2) This one came with two tortillas in foil. I definitely used those to make some mini fajitas from the huevos ingredients. It was great stuff! The mango margarita was nothing short of delicious. There was enough mango in there to taste it well, but not enough to make the margarita overall too sweet or completely get rid of the tequila taste. I could still tell I was drinking a margarita, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I left full and satisfied, and I would definitely come back. Fuzzy's is a full fledged Tex-Mex style grab & go taco shop. They've got the plenty of TVs to catch the game, draft craft beers on tap, serve breakfast all day long, and their vibe is fun, loud, colorful, fast-paced grab & go. If they had good food, there would be a lot to love. My take is that the atmosphere doesn't compensate for the average tasting food which at times uses too much salt and doesn't hit any notable marks for culinary greatness. Fuzzy's is nothing if not consistent, but I'm just not a huge fan. I love Mexican food and, despite using a lot of the same words (tacos, burritos, etc) this is too Americanized to be compared to Mexican food. The tacos are just okay. They lack flavor, like most everything else here IMO. The sides (beans, rice, potatoes, etc) are just meh, so I don't bother with them. Margaritas, which are my absolute favorite mixed drinks, are a mixed bag here. The frozen ones are excessively cold and give me the worst brain freezes I've ever had (every single time) but the draft marg is bland and tasteless. They have some draft beers but nothing darker than medium blonde unless it's the season for the "ski trip" beer which is an amber, if I remember correctly. I end up ordering one of those 3 drinks, but each time wishing they had another option I liked. So, why the 4 stars? The Mexican breakfast options are good, when I'm in the mood for that, and closer to authentic than anything else on the menu. It's always clean. The servers are always friendly. Their app gives pretty decent rewards, and like I said, they're consistent. I get one of the salads and, after dousing it in the habanero sauce, it has some decent flavor without a huge number of calories. Also, they can reasonably accommodate gluten-free requests (though I have gotten contradictory answers at times when asking about certain food items, so beware). read more

The chips still leave a bitter taste and they don't have any mild salsa available. Only hot. Not everyone likes super spicy salsa. The biggest problem here is the fajita meat. Both the fajita chicken and fajita beef are consistently dry. Really dry. Dry and tough to the point where I didn't even eat it. It has been this way for the last two times I've ordered it. Went to Fuzzy's all the time in Denver(5 years ago) .. didn't know they were a chain. Found out they had one here and had to try it out. Didn't disappoint.. happy to see they still serve large portion salads in a big stainless steel bowl! This is exactly how I eat mine at home.. added grilled mahi-mahi and it was perfect. Also had a taco with mahi-mahi with a spicy sauce and pineapple.. hubs and kid both had a chicken burrito and ate the whole thing! With all the craziness going on in the world it was nice to walk into an establishment and have it feel like things used to.. all the flavor was there as well. Hubs enjoyed a Corona-Rita and I had a cranberry vodka they served me in a fish bowl! First time at Fuzzy's Taco Shop in Edmond off of 15th street. Came here with a group of four and we enjoyed ourselves. There was a line when we walked in but it didn't take us a long time to order our food. One thing I really like is that this place serves breakfast all day. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese burrito for $4.99 and it was the best decision I made that day. My friends ordered the shredded chicken burrito, quesadilla, a grilled fish taco and chips & queso. They thought their food was delicious as well. There was a nice atmosphere inside as there was chill music, lots of TVs and it wasn't overcrowded. It was a warmer day out so some took advantage of the outdoor seating. Also it's close to UCO so there were quite a few students around. Pretty decent fast food Mexican. You order and pay at the walk up counter and then go to a window to pick up your food when your hand held device vibrates. I had the brisket nachos with the garlic sauce on the side. Honestly the nachos are already messy/gooey enough (not to mention unhealthy) without adding more sauce to the top. I tasted it and it had good flavor but I opted to eat them without it. I thought they were pretty generous with the brisket throughout the layers of chips which was nice. Flavor was good. My hubs had an egg/cheese/potato burrito and a side of chips with guacamole and salsa. The serving size for the guacamole that came with the chips was pretty small for $5. So disappointed! Placed a curbside order last night, because we love Fuzzys! Unfortunately, when we pulled up it was closed. Sign on the door read...closed for an employee event. My card was charged and I received an email that stated my order would be ready at 10:00 the next morning. I called this morning so they wouldn't prepare my order and waste food. The employee didn't even offer an apology or thank me for alerting them not to prepare an order. So last night I ended up driving across town for an order I never got. Shouldn't they have turned off online ordering? Offered an apology or thank you? So aggravated, but mostly disappointed with customer service AFTER the mishap. I just love Fuzzy's!! We eat here at least once a week as I constantly crave the Refried Beans & the consistency of the Super Frosty Mugs (mine overflows with Pacifico on tap w Lots of Salt & Lime - always). There are TONS of Vegetarian / Vegan options - everything I've had here is good and always fresh. I've had the Soft & Hard Tacos, The Quesadillas, The Chilaquiles, The Salad - really it's all good. The spices on the chips that come with the Salsa, Queso & Guac are addictive. I luv the hot sauce on the table - don't let the label scare u, it's not that hot. Really. Lol All Fuzzy's are always busy - so we try to come during off hours and it does help ( I definitely don't like waiting and I always want a booth ). This place has some decent Mexican food. The margaritas are huge and only $6.50! Usually you would pay $12 for the same margarita! The chips are seasoned and warm. Very nice touch. There's lots of vegetarian options as well as items with shrimp and fish. I finished up at around $20. which included my entree,chips and queso, and my very tasty margarita. Excellent taco spot! Very close to a 5 star! First off, expect to wait a little during peak hours because the line is out the door. Let's start with the tacos. Me and my wife ordered 4 tacos; hard shell fajitas chicken, two shredded chicken on corn tortllas, and hard shell grilled fish. They all come topped with tomatoes, garlic sauce, cilantro, lettuce, and feta. These tacos were well worth the wait! Only minor note was that I recommend the fajita chicken over the shredded chicken because the shredded was a little dry. We also ordered the fajita chicken nachos, which is an entree itself. The queso was really good and the toppings (queso,shredded cheese, feta, cilantro, and pico w/ a side of jalapeños and sour cream) was very generous and spread evenly as to get a nice bit of everything with every bite. Finally the Margaritas. I ordered the top shelf on the rocks and it was a little sweet for my liking but still decent. My wife really enjoyed the frozen Margarita and sangria twist. Again. This place was a packed house but worth the wait. Will definitely be going back and trying their other locations. I marked it down a hair BC of the seating issue.
