Fantastic service from. The food was stellar. I had a blackened chicken Po boy that left me excited after every bite. I finished the whole thing. The bread really makes this sandwich go. The sauce was zesty and tasty. The okra will have you popping them by the handful - or maybe that was just me. I wanted an adult beverage however was heading to work later. The wife had a patty melt. It looked great. Food is cooked to order so expect a wait. The wait is WORTH it! The ambiance is casual and inviting in my perspective. Staff cooking the food deserve a high five... The content they create will have you wanting to smack somebody! But real talk. It was a great experience. Will definitely be back! Questions - reach out! Respectfully, The butter cookies and crack crackers were a delicious Togo item! Bryan NW OKC

Off the Hook Seafood Eatery is so so good! I tried the fried fish with okra, broccoli, and a lemonade. I came during lunch time with my toddler and we shared all of this together. My toddler loved the lemonade. It's pretty tasty. Everything else was too spicy for my little one. It is such a cute little place. If you glance you'll miss it. I never even realized it was there driving by all of these years. I have always tried it and I'm glad to get a chance to devour this deliciousness! The place with busy during lunch and a lot of people come here to meet for lunch for work so lots of people in work clothes when I went but the seating moved fast and we had a place to sit right away. Next time I want to try other things on the menu. The prices are higher for the portions you get but you get fresh cooked food with every order so who can complain! Give them a try!

Right when you walk in this place you know that they fry a lot of things because of the smell. That isn't appealing to me personally but was crowded when I went. The seating was a little odd butI guess you have to be creative when you are limited on space. I really did enjoy the flavor of my shrimp and coleslaw so if I were to go back I'd get something else grilled with that same slaw.

I've been a fan of Off The Hook for years, but this was my first time dining in since the remodel and transition to Off The Hook Eatery--and let me just say, they did that. The place looks amazing. Clean, fresh, and welcoming with a totally upgraded interior AND a beautiful outdoor patio that really makes you want to hang out for a while. The staff was absolutely top-tier--super helpful, funny, and just made the whole experience feel easy and fun. You don't always get service with personality, but you definitely do here. They are the best! I ordered the Blackened Chicken Salad and the Grilled Fish & Jumbo Shrimp Basket with grilled asparagus as my side. I also got a banana pudding that was to die for! Everything was made fresh, seasoned absolutely perfectly, and came out hot and delicious. You can tell they seriously care about quality, and it shows. This is the kind of food that's well worth the wait since it's made fresh. If you haven't been in a while, GO BACK IMMEDIATELY. If you've never been--go hungry. Off The Hook is still a go-to spot, and somehow, it just keeps getting better.

5 stars Off the Hook - Great Spot for Seafood Cravings! Stopped by Off the Hook for some seafood and it hit the spot. I got the fish and chips--crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, basically how fish should be. The fries were solid too--golden, hot, and not sad or soggy. Tried the Cajun-style fried pickles and wow, those had a bold flavor. Super tangy and heavy on the Cajun spices. I could only eat about a quarter of them at a time, but if you like strong seasoning, you'll probably devour them. Washed it down with a strawberry lemonade that tasted just like it should--nothing fancy, but exactly what I wanted. The place was really clean and had this cool 60s vibe going on, which made it feel super inviting. I'll definitely be back, especially for more fish, and next time I've got my sights set on the Cajun shrimp. Curious to see how spicy that gets.

Delicious and healthy seafood like grilled fish that is very flavorful with seasoning, grilled asparagus and broccoli sides and cole slaw. Excellent service via the drive-thru as well. Interior atmosphere also spacious. Highly recommended!

Food was FRESH, chef knew what he was doing!!! Spectacular fish; beautifully seasoned (as well as the grilled asparagus), tender, juicy, and steaming from being made to order in the kitchen you can see right into. If I could do 4.5 stars I would, because this place is casual and looks a bit like a hole in the wall and the cleanliness reflected that, but when it came to rating it 4 or 5 stars, the food tipped it over the edge. Because I don't care. The food is too good. The seasoning WILL get stuck in your teeth, so be prepared for that. Still worth it

Locally owned in the historic former VZD's…read more Great food Great drinks Cool atmosphere Friendly attentive waitstaff All around good vibe

Just don't go here…read more I've lived here for 5 years and by far the worst restaurant experience I have had in Oklahoma, and if you see my other reviews I'm pretty forgiving and tend to give spots the benefit of the doubt. This is a place worth an absolute flaming of a review.... But they already wasted enough of my time and energy today so I'll just summarize. No management on scene, no hostess, one server, two bartenders and a restaurant at 50% capacity on Mother's Day at 1 p.m. From walking in to having our orders taken, 30 minutes. 45 minutes later our order of roasted vegetable salad, steak eggs Benedict, and sourdough toast arrived. Salad was very well burnt but my mom was trying to be nice and didn't want to walk out. Eggs Benedict came out with two eggs boiled through, a hollandaise sauce with a sour smell and cold steak. I didn't eat it and no one seemed to notice, had it removed from my bill easy enough, but again zero F's given and no management showed daylight. Wife's toast actually arrived 5 minutes after the 'rest' of the food and the only thing hot and delicious. Toast here is $11, so there's that. No one cares here. From the health violations and poor food safety I saw in the kitchen, the multiple tables I witnessed sending back food to the multiple parties puzzled as to why they weren't being sat or once they were entirely ignored... it was so wildly bad I was embarrassed for everyone else having the same experience. Again, don't go.

Its been years since I was able to eat at Whiskey Cakes! We are in town for a volleyball tournament…read moreand wanted some good food. So the daughter and I headed on over to see if its still as good as I remember. Crab cake appetizer. You only get 1 but it had some great flavor with the remoulade sauce. The only negative was the tiny pieced shell in the crab cake. Unfortunately thats almost a given for fresh pulled crab meat. Farm salad was very fresh and had a great dressing. I believe it was a white balsamic vinaigrette. I ordered the ribeye,With garlicky spinach. The steak had great flavor. I wish it would have been more tender. But overall, the cut of steak was really good. My daughter ordered the New York strip with fingerling potatoes. The way she demolished that steak tells me that she was hungry and that it was delicious. Naturally, we ordered the whiskey cake for dessert and it did not disappoint. It was everything I remembered. From the spiced pecans to the bourbon cream sauce. I hope to stop by before I leave town and get another one for the road!

I am a Whiskey Cake fan through and through! This is the type of restaurant that ensures everything…read moreon their menu is specifically chosen because they do it well, therefore you can be rest assured that whatever you order is going to be very, very good. Their menu has some core offerings that don't really change, along with other items which are seasonal based on whatever ingredients are available locally. Most things served in the restaurant are made in-house from scratch and those ingredients are sourced locally in Oklahoma which I find to be pretty awesome! Their burgers are delicious, so its extremely hard for me to come here and order something other than that, but I have still been impressed when I have ordered other types of entrees. Lastly, you have to try their whiskey cake at LEAST once. I'm weird about my desserts and only eat one type of cake, one type of pie, one type of ice cream, etc... well, I have make an exception for cake. The only type of cake I eat is regular white cake w/ buttercream icing, but I had to create a lone exception for Whiskey Cake's whiskey cake.
