Okay, you walk in the door and the decor is a little odd but do you go to eat for the decor, or for the food? I could be seated in a card board box and be satisfied with how AMAZING the food is. First off the sauce that comes with the crab Rangoon, you could "put that stuff on a flip flop" (AB) and it was be delicious. As the crab Rangoon are crispy on the outside with a creamy filling, beautifully made. Secondly, the ramen brisket, you haven't lived until you've tasted it, completely amazing, the broth, out of this world. Also the shrimp and chicken ramen, another amazing dish. And they give you so much food! I always take home a huge container to enjoy for left overs. And the service staff are friendly! The one waiter even offered to pour my left over ramen into a take out container for me(so I wouldn't spill it all over the table). This place is a staple for me. I love the atmosphere and the pho is (in my opinion) one of the best in the area! I also love getting their bubble tea, it's cheaper than a typical boba place but still good. Their taro fries are pretty tasty too! The only thing that varies is the service. Sometimes I'll get a very attentive server that checks in, and other times I'll get someone that brings out the pho with none of the sides but won't come back until the check. Though I get that they can be busy, especially at night! I've seen some comments about dirtiness so I figured that I'd add that sometimes the tables are a bit dirty, but I've never seen any bugs or the like (not discrediting those who have!). read more

OK, a little more, we like the pho noodles a bit on the chewier side so we order al dente. Also ask for more lime and Thai basil if you're into that. (If you're not sure what to do with the dish of "veggies", add as you like to your noodle soup). Try adding the lime juice to the soup, a bit different but very tasty. The waiting staff was not attentive. We waited a long time to have our order taken and to get a glass of water. When a couple who came in after us finished eating, we asked where was our food. The waitress then told us the kitchen messed up our food and had to start over. She could have let us know sooner. By the time our food came, the grilled pork was more like pork jerky. The Pho Bo was never consistently "up to snuff". Occasionally it was good or OK, we usually "fixed" it with some Pho broth mix. The last time we compared it to some from Pho Saigon 2 in Bartonsville, PA, our go to place. We wound up topping the broth from Topo (it was horrible) and made our own from powdered mix, fish oil, anise stars and beef stock, which was much better. Sadly, we won't be back. Topo is a solid vietnamese choice in this area. It's the best I've had in this area. I had the bun boe hu. It was veryyy tasty. I normally stray from pho, I'm just not a huge fan of clear and lime broth, but this soup was up my alley delivering bold flavors like fish sauce and mushroom ( the description of this item did not mention mushroom but I definitely tasted mushroom) Also a ton of meat, other vietnamese places I find aren't giving me enough meat with soups but this place gave me so much, a got a piece with every bite. We also had the crab cheese wontons. The filling was very good, a good amount of scallion to cream cheese to crab ratio and not too sweet, but the edges were too hard for my liking, I would give it another try though. The sauces that came with it were VERY good. Also got the lemongrass chicken dumplings- we loved this. It was different and very flavorful with a nice soft wrapping. Their fried rice is incredible, just ask the owner what actually goes into it and you will find it's a culinary explosion. Also, the crab rangoon triangles are by far the best I ever had. Their lunch specials are the best bang for your buck which typically come with a soup or salad. However, lunch can get busy and usually staff is light around that time.
