Second time coming here and the food is great! I tend to be picky about my Chinese food spots since many don't have that authentic fire wok flavor, but I've ordered the triple delight lunch twice now and each time it was delicious. They have very reasonable prices and a wide selection of food. As I've only tried the triple delight and wonton egg drop soup, I cant speak for other dishes. Tried them on a whim as no one else around had really good food and found our new place. The food is delicious and fresh. Everything we try tastes amazing. There is just so much flavor in the cooking, I find myself actually eatung slower than usual cause I am literally savoring every bite. I have eaten the beef and broccoli 2x now and it is.my favorite. Most other places I have to add 4 packets of soy to get any flavor but I didnt have to add even 1 here. There is so much flavor, the sauce is not thick and corn starchy like a lot of other places and the broccoli is cooked perfectly, fresh and steamed with just the right amount of bite. Hubby gets a special request crab egg foo young and he is in love with it. Their rice is soft and flavorful and tastes fresh not days old like other places. But his favorite thing is the PuPu Platter. First time he has ever gotten shrimp toast that was not a greasy mess, he can actually taste the bread and shrimp and not a mouth full of oil. He is in love with the chicken wings and spring rolls. I love the fall off the bone ribs and the taste of the beef on a stick is tremendous. Their sweet and sour sauce is light and perfectly balanced, the moo shu pork was amazing, cooked perfectly with chunks of meat. Sesame chicken was crispy and sweet. We have only ordered about 6 times but we find ourselves craving it. Best part of all, their prices are so affordable and everyone is so accommodating to special requests. It's just a great place to.eat from, I don't have a mouth full of salt all night after and I truly feel satisfied when I am finished. read more

Dumb people. Tried to tell me how to use the grubhub delivery app and stood over me while telling me I wasn't "confirming the order". I showed her the name when I first came in...they are invasive and dumb and obviously don't understand the concept of delivery drivers and will treat you like a thief. I've dealt with this here too many times. No point in giving business to unkind facilities. Tired of being mistreated as an employee. 0 stars if that was an option. there are not enough words to say about this god forsaken business. i have ordered from this place for years now, and without fail every single time THEY MESS UP MY ORDER. it got to one point where every single time that i ordered everyone else's meal was correct except mine. not sure if this is a coincidence or personal. i am so sick of wasting my money on food that is NOT worth $20. i am utterly disgusted with the quality of food and service provided by these people. every time i step in there i feel sick. anytime i have brought these issues to their concern, they have no given me a refund or resolved my issue. i feel that this place should not be in business and it is actually impressive that they remain open with little to no customers. i don't have anything else to add but please!! save your money and go somewhere else. sincerely, a long time ex-customer. read more

Had takeout from New Hunan for lunch. Egg rolls were good as was the fried won tons. Mains included; Generals Chicken lunch combo - nice presentation, albeit over cooked, with fried rice...good. Hot & Sour soup looked good. Someone had a chicken dish which looked fatty. In a pinch would take out from here again but its in a small strip mall in the middle of nowhere and I guess you cant expect more. read more

WOW!! I was very skeptical when I pulled up to this place. My go to chinese place was closed for some reason and I went here. Very dive-y. Just a few chairs for those waiting for takeout. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and my wife the sweet and sour chicken and an egg roll. All of the food was amazing. Great taste. Super Delicious. Not enough room to eat there. The shrimp in the fried rice were pretty big for chinese food standards and the chicken in the sweet and sour chicken was not mystery meat. New Hunan may just become my go to spot for takeout. read more

Used to be good... not so much anymore. This used to be our go to Chinese food place and it is getting worse and worse every time. This last time I placed an order and was told 20 minutes, I went to pick it up and they never started my order, it was still just on their order pad. Food was terrible, had to throw it out. Full order of General Tso chicken was all batter and hard as a rock. No chicken in it and couldn't even cut with a knife. Chicken and broccoli tasted very bland and not fresh. I swear I don't think the owners would eat their own food or they just don't care. Never again. To top it off they tried shorting me $1.00 when giving me my change and gave me dirty looks when I called them out on it. No apology, not a thank you, nothing just like the food. read more

I saw that this place had two stars and was very skeptical but we had been driving all day and needed a quick dinner. We ordered the house fried rice, chicken wings, spare rib tips and egg rolls and literally each of those was delicious. We called at like 9:45 and they close at 10 but they made us the food and it was great. Honestly, some of the best Chinese food I've had. This has been my go to Chinese food place for some time I love the Lo Mein and the pressed duck were very good. Yesterday I was picking up lunch and as I leaned on the counter to pay I noticed the health Dept. report partially hidden behind other paperwork on the wall. It was conditionally satisfactory. I asked about it and was told they were very picky and getting better. I decided to ask at the Stanhope clerks office because they don't have any health department information on their web site. I received no answer to my message. I will not be going back until more information is available. I realize that it was not a fail but the sign should not be hidden. They were 20 minutes late prepping it, then I opened my chicken fried rice and not only did the chicken look grossly pink, there are only onions in it, zero flavor. I also had the fried wonton...
