Since it's the one of a few Japanese spots in the area I guess relatively it's okay, but coming from someone who loves sushi I wouldn't recommend it. Service is good though. Had fun here. Left the bartender very generous to almost 50% because we stayed until closing. We went to another location where others had told us to go, the pavilion, when we got there, we ordered drinks that were not made properly and when I asked them to be made properly, I was given an attitude by the bartender. Then I was told that the bartender Ginza told them how annoying we were and how demanding we were. But I'm sure you liked your $60 tip on $110 bill. You shouldn't badmouth customers that pay you well. read more

I picked this spot to get lunch for some clients. I ordered for 12:15 pick up. When I arrived I found parking in the back. I walked in and it was like a bar and grill. A nice man came out and told me to pick my soda and the food would be ready soon. He helped me take it to my car when it was ready. The clients were happy. For myself I ordered the vegetable dumplings and vegetable mei fun. The dumplings were tasty and there was plenty. The mei fun was so good and tasty. This place has exceptional food! One of the highlights is that is has a full bar with good prices on drinks, great happy hour prices and everything your looking for in a local restaurant & hangout. They also deliver if you live in Budd Lake. I recommend any item on the sushi menu! The fish is always fresh and the specialty sushi rolls are awesome! Ginza is also the best place to go for Chinese food in Budd Lake. The prices are reasonable and the food is on par with good NYC Chinese food. They also deliver. Our favorite dishes are the boneless BBQ ribs (char siu) and anything with garlic sauce! The eggplant with garlic sauce was outstanding and there's so much food we had to take it home for lunch the next day. I spent almost $70 on sushi only to get what is primarily tempura. All of the fish is mixed with the tempura batter and it comes out in this tacky consistency that's so greasy it made me nauseous. The sushi here used to be one of my favorites and I'm so disappointed that they've been trying to save money by reducing The amount of fish that gets on a roll. It's honestly gross and I wish I spent that money on literally anything else. If you're looking for a fun sushi night this isn't the place that it used to be. unless the chef actually puts fish instead of tempura mix in the sushi I'm never coming back Also nothing labeled spicy actually was. read more

Excited to have another decent option for Asian food in the area. Pretty casual spot with an extensive menu. I went with the sushi lunch special ($12), which included two rolls and either soup or salad. I decided on the spicy tuna roll, AAC roll, and salad. The dressing on the salad was incredibly sweet and I would likely go with the soup next time. Spicy tuna roll had a nice amount of heat and an element of crunch which was a nice surprise. The AAC roll tasted fresh. Overall not the best sushi I have ever had, but the food was decent and fresh, and service was friendly, so I will likely be back. read more

Picked up at Ginza today for the first time ever. Been living here for 20 years and just never went in. Tried some rolls and some dumplings and fried rice. The dumplings were run of the mill take out Chinese dumplings. Not delicate dumplings like pictured on their website. The sushi rolls were ok. Nothing to write home about. The fried rice wasn't great. The staff was friendly. I found it to be pricey. I'll go another 20 years and not miss it. read more

Loved the food here.... Hands down. Looks a little strange from the outside but don't let that deter you from trying what's inside. There is a full bar and tables for eating. The bar was lively and fun. Karaoke on Fridays. Service seemed a bit slow, but I think that is due to everything was made FRESH TO ORDER....so everything I had was delicious... Second time coming here and definitely impressed. Quality product, some very good flavors based upon the dishes I have chosen, and absolutely would return. The pan fried pork dumplings are really excellent, stuffed with a perfect amount of pork, and you receive 8 of them. Some places only give 6, so I like the bonus of two additional meaty little delights. The Kung po chicken, although perfectly cooked, was a little bland. Still had all the right components, yet could have used a bit more heat and seasoning. The vegetable lo mein was a homerun. Noodles were tender and delish, and the vegetables were fresh and well prepared. This could be my go to going forward. The only small complaint, and just a heads up for those seeking delivery, is that they stick to a 2 mile radius. I am sure delivery is annoying at times or perhaps inconvenient, but..........I am staying at a hotel exactly 2 miles away from this location. After originally placing the order for delivery and attempting to check out, I was advised that they cannot deliver to my location, being that "I am 2.0039220949654 miles from their location". Really? On a $62 online order? C'mon guys. I would have even walked off the hotel property to meet ya, just to ensure the exact 2 mile radius was met. Anyway, food for thought. Ginza is a hidden gem. The inside was just redone and looks beautiful. Might not look like a typical Asian restaurant but who cares. My fiancé and I like to order takeout or we have occasionally order at the bar. The food is 5 stars especially with it's wide range of Asian cuisine. The price for food is beyond exceptional especially with the quality of it. I've even had coupons come in the mail if you keep an eye out! We also like to go there on Friday and Saturday nights. Friday nights are Karaoke and Saturdays has a live DJ that plays all genres of music. We truly enjoy a good variety of music. The drink prices are amazing along with the bartender services. Everyone there is extremely nice and accommodating! We have never been let down spending an evening there or ordering takeout. Definitely give it a try!! read more

We decided to try this place out. Worst sushi I've ever had, spicy tuna was all bread crumbs and little if any tuna, it was so dry it was inedible. Wasabi was not the typical color or flavor. Volcano roll was ok but not as good as we've had elsewhere. We chose this place based on other reviews so maybe we had an off night or a new chef in training. We ordered 3 hibachi steak dinners and 2 sushi dinners via DoorDash. It was not inexpensive. The hibachi dinners were inedible--we literally at about a quarter of the dinners and threw the rest out. I have been searching for good sushi in the area for so long. I have ordered from plenty of sushi places, and have been so highly disappointed with the sushi restraunts around here. Until I just had Ginza tonight for dinner. The sushi pieces are the ideal size, and they listened to my instructions on the eel sauce on the sushi, which every other restraint I have ordered sushi at thusfar has ignored this instruction. Ginza has become our new go-to for Chinese or sushi. Great shrimp toast and dumplings. Interesting sushi and fresh too. The soup is well balanced, not too salty. The one thing I don't likenesses is their ribs, way too salty. read more

I would actually give it 0 stars, but that is not an option. It has recently opened where there have been previous Chinese and Asian restaurants. I had read good reviews on Facebook so a friend and I tried it last night. Atmosphere-it was very bright in there, sparsely decorated and had the feeling of a 'dive' bar. Menu-there was a good selection of sushi, Chinese and some Thai foods. They have a full bar but no drink menu was available Service-quick initially but then it was difficult to get the servers attention and there were very few people in there Food-our appetizer was good and came quickly. When the sushi arrived, I noted the tuna in my rainbow roll did not look right. It was almost brown and very warm. I sent it back and ate some of the other roll I had. The sushi was also warm and just didn't seem right. My friend's sushi was also warm and she opted not to eat much. The server did take the rainbow roll off the bill and said they would get rid of the tuna. I ended up having a sour stomach and headache all night. Will not return as I think they do not keep the sushi properly refrigerated (it should not be warm when you get it) and it was clearly not fresh. I will never return and urge others to be cautious. read more

My family dines in/takes out/gets delivery from here at least 3 times a week. The sushi is amazing and so are all the entrees we've tried!! They have a huge bar and a couple pool tables in case you want to hang around and have a couple drinks with friends:) read more

The Sushi gets a solid 4 star - especially in this area. The rolls were excellent, the Sashimi in the Chirasi was limited but very large pieces so worked well. The vibe is interesting, more of a bar scene , and not what you would expect given the quality of the Sushi. No need to dress up as super casual. We will be back! read more

This place is close to me and have been wanting to try it out. Ordered on line as no indoor dining only outside patio or take out. Easy to order. Pick up in 60 minutes. Since I was close by went there 20 minutes earlier. My food was already bagged and ready to go. Had I waited the 60 minutes, my food would have been cold. Upon pick up the patrons were milling around by the front door. Not adhering to the state mandate of 6 feet apart or face covering. One patron walked out the restaurant with no face covering. The outside patio also had patrons with no social distancing either. The food well was, let's see. The chicken lettuce wrap had 2 lettuce leaves under the chicken. They were wilted and could not be used. The "Thai" fried rice has a few pineapple pieces only. The crab ragoon were slightly filled and the edges overtoasted. They were hard to chew. Most chinese foods have some vegetables in their dishes. There was very little in the food. I was disappointed with the quality. I was very disappointed in the lack of state mandated social distancing. I do not recommend this place. After Covid 19 relaxes requirements, well the food is still mediocre at best. There are plenty other restaurants to enjoy in the area. read more

We ate at Ginza and enjoyed it immensely . It reminded of us growing up in Brooklyn. Great Food and Family Staff and would order extra to take home. Then Covid and we are in our late 70s . We limit our exposure but like to rides into the surrounding country and when we are about 15 minutes out we call for take out. I feel very safe because of this restaurant going far and beyond with their protection. And then home and a few days of yummy pleasure. So if you want great food I would suggest direct pick up to limit chain of contact and support a great family resturant. read more
